Detailed Reviews
We booked this hotel based on past reviews and were very pleased with our choice. It literally is about 5 minutes walk from the central train station and well located for all the major sights. Florence is a very compact walking city making it very easy to overdo the walking! The little complimentary snacks and drinks provided are very welcome when you return to the hotel, an added bonus. There is a varied choice for breakfast, the usual cereals, a small hot buffet, croissants, cakes, meats and cheese plus fresh fruit, juices and coffee, something for everyone. The room was spotlessly clean, towels changed daily and new soaps and complimentary toiletries provided. There was a fridge with mini bar in the room but we didn’t use that. There is a safe in your room too for which there was no extra charge. The city tax was €4.50 per person per night and payable either in cash or debit/credit card on checkout. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to use this hotel should we return to Florence and would definitely recommend it.

Very close to the railway station, you can leave your luggage before checking or after checkout (closed place). Very clean and covid-organized. The room was small but functional and silent. Excellent breakfast, with a variety of food in a small but well organized buffet. Perfect people, reception, bar, rooms... kindness, efficiency, warm smiles. A place to go.

Great location within walking distance of all Florence’s attractions - and three nights felt just about right to get round everything. Hotel is full of character with nice rooms, cute balconies and a beautiful glass lift through the central atrium. Hardly heard any noise internally or externally so was very peaceful. Our room was on the small side - bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze - but the beds were comfy, the bedding high quality, the air conditioning very effective etc. would definitely recommend.
Breakfast was included and ok. Nice selection overseen by a rather stern lady who made fantastic coffee.

The room was small but well decorated so that it didn't feel oppressive. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The wifi was good enough to allow me to run a video conference session. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel is really well located less than 5 minutes on foot to the main station from where you can get a tram straight to the airport. Going the other way in 5 minutes you are in the old city of Florence. Breakfast was interesting as everything was individually wrapped in clingfilm. All things considered, I would stay there again given the opportunity.

Very clean hotel and ideal position to visit all the attractions of Florence within walking distance. Only a couple of minutes from the beautiful square of Piazza San Maria Novella. The lady who did breakfast was amazing and I wanted to credit her for all her hard work, she was the only member of staff who cleaned the tables, prepared special coffees and kept the buffet well and truly stocked up. The only negative point was the reception team were not very friendly and welcoming, but we are living in very stressful times at the moment.

Hotel is 5 minutes from the main station and a 10 minute walk from the centre of Florence. Staff on reception were welcoming and our room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast, which is included in the room price, was served in a beautiful room with a great buffet to choose from. Despite leaving early morning after our two night stay, the breakfast room opened earlier than advertised to accommodate us and others leaving early.
Staff were attentive and welcoming. Would certainly stay here again.
Florence is great but you need to book ahead for places like the Uffizzi, the Duomo, the Tower etc. We went to Santa Croce (as we hadn’t booked ahead!) which is a must visit however (having been many times before), the Leather School at Santa Croce seems to aim its products at rich visitors now.

This is much better than a 3 star hotel.
The location is ideal - most of Florence's attractions are within easy walking distance.
Good breakfast, clean rooms and everything worked properly - air conditioning, shower and a useful size room safe.
The staff appeared to take Covid requirements seriously.

I don't write that many reviews, but feel that this is warrented due to our experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
The customer service is rude, except for the breakfast staff. When we asked staff for check in, they rolled their eyes at us. When we asked for a restaurant reservation, we were met with relctuancy. Overall members of our group felt uncomfortable when having to deal with the staff at this hotel.
Hotel guests are asked to leave their keys at the front desk, which seems very insecure. Staff does not ask for any ID to verify the guest's room number. If you come back later at night, you will be met with more rude staff. Arguing with us they they did not have the keys, but they ended up finding them eventually.
If you are looking for a good hotel breakfast and ok location this hotel is fine. However, I would recommend looking into other hotel options due to the rude unwelcoming staff of this hotel.

Dear guests, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback even if we did not fully meet your expectactions. But our collegue perhaps was only surprised as you arrived more persons than reserved? Also for the restaurants, did you went at the time you asked to reserve? Actually this review doesn't seem so fair for us.

This is a lovely little hotel, 5 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and just 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia and other attractions.
We had a double room on 3rd floor, which had a shared balcony space overlooking the inner courtyard.
The room was comfortable and well equipped, with air conditioning, good storage space, minibar, safe, kettle, hairdryer etc.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful, with 24 hour reception and daily maid service. Breakfast is in the inner (covered) courtyard, self service with a decent range of hot and cold options. Staff are on hand to assist and to make coffees etc if you don't want the filter coffee an hot milk that is available.
Plenty of bars and restaurants in the local area, as well as some small supermarkets, delis and gelateria.
This hotel really is beautifully decorated, creating a relaxed and cosy ambience.
A very pleasant stay and an ideal base from which to explore Florence.
Highly recommended.
