It’s actually the Garibaldi Blu Hotel and the address is 21 instead of 23. The interior kind of doesn’t match what is on the Web. My room was fine and the staff is very nice also. It’s just not the hotel that I had expected....More
We had a lovely room breakfast was well made and plentiful, staff were polite warm and helpful there were plenty of options even for a gluten free The hotel is quite central with all attractions within easy reach
We stayed at Rosso 23 April 17th-20th. We had a lovely large sunny room overlooking the piazza, the bathroom was also large. The only disadvantage with a room overlooking the piazza was that there was some noise quite early in the morning, between 6 am...More
It's an adventure staying at Rosso 23. 2 hotels have been combined to create a unique boutique hotel experience. The combination of the 2 structures has created some passageways that can be a little confusing to navigate at first, but the place has such fun...More
Very nice decoretation. Nice and gentel staff good brekfast clean room. Silent area. Location fantastic and exelent 200 meter to central station and 400 meter to chearch. I stayed 2 night last week end one march. I was so satisfied.
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
Sorry, just received this message. There is an elevator, it is quite small but works just fine! There is no pool or hot tub that I am aware of...that being said, it is in a lovely location and the service is wonderful... More
