Villa Borgo San Pietro is an ancient XVII century farm transformed into a charming Relais with outdoor swimming pool composed of 14 rooms and 5 apartments. Thanks to an intelligent restoration the new purpose of the structure took into account yet maintaining its ancient look. The old well, the fruit and olive trees, the grass fields, combined with the old prints, paintings and furniture, give that peaceful feeling and atmosphere of a Tuscan country house.

Sixth visit to the Borgo. Never disappointed and always guaranteed a warm welcome back from great people. The Borgo is well located, comfortably furnished and a nice place to be and close to Cortona. Our family and friends keep going back for more.

I stayed there beginning of May and was really happy to have come across this charming place. Rooms was comfortable, had character, well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was very good? surroumdings were really nice and peaceful with olive orchard, huge rosemary bushes, bay leaves trees, roses... all very well kept. Regarding dinner options, they have a 30-eur option which in my opinion.is a bit pricy for what they offer (and comparing to Cortona restaurant prices). We had a bottle of Cortona Syrah and we enjoyed the evening. They should have an a la carte option, even with 3-4 options but it would be much better than the 4course menu they offer now. Anyway, we hope to come back in summer and enjoy their pool too. Breakfast and reception staff were all very nice. Greeting to the Serbian guy at front desk, he attended us and was very polite and friendly. The man serving at the restaurant could be a bit less stiff and show some friendliness... he gave us the feeling we were troubling him when asked to change cutlery or to fix the wobbling table.

The hotel staff is amazing! Mikor and Dimitri and Chiera and Claudiana everyone was so friendly and helpful. We took the cooking class and had so much fun making homemade pasta, tiramasu and ragu. They will get a driver to take you up to city centre so you can eat, shop and not have to worry about parking:-) very good in 2018 and even better in 2019!

My husband and I spent a sunny week in September at this charming farmhouse just below beautiful Cortona and enjoyed every minute. The location is perfect for touring both the eastern part of Tuscany, particularly the gorgeous Val d'Orcia with its lovely hilltop villages and Umbria. Our room was very comfortable, it had huge exposed beams on the ceiling and in the bathroom, which was quite small but well appointed. The farmhouse sits in the middle of an olive grove and has a nice swimming pool. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. Our special thanks go to Valentina and Mirko who looked after us very well. This was not the first time we have stayed at the Borgo and, once again, we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back!

I cant say much more than WOW. AMAZING location, staff , food everything. This place is a gem, it has more an American clientele than European so their service is also tailored to that, which simply means better service! the pool is stunning , the treehouse restaurant is beautiful , the food amazing. I cannot wait to return and hopefully for longer. The grounds are stunning. there arent enough superlatives for this place
