Villa Borgo San Pietro is an ancient XVII century farm transformed into a charming hotel with outdoor swimming pool composed of 14 rooms and 5 apartments. Thanks to an intelligent restoration the new purpose of the structure took into account yet maintaining its ancient look. The old well, the fruit and olive trees, the grass fields, combined with the old prints, paintings and furniture, give that peaceful feeling and atmosphere of a Tuscan country house.

Cortona is beyond beautiful and this is where you should stay EVERY TIME you visit! You feel like you have taken a step back in time when you enter your room and at the same time let out a long sigh knowing how well you are going to sleep. Alessandro & Francesca worked so hard to make us feel welcomed and cared for. There was not anything we needed that they did not make happen.
We appreciate all they did for us
We will be back!

Wonderful place. Beautifully restored and maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is a couple of kilometers from busy Cortona in the country side and makes you feel relaxed, comfortable and well taken care of.

We highly recommend this place if you are in the Cortona area.

This hotel is lovely and situated in the Tuscany countryside 10-15 minutes from the heart of Cortona. The entire staff, especially the front desk, was so friendly, helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, including the grounds. Big rooms, clean and great amenities. Highly recommended!!

Villa Borgo San Pietro is in a fantastic location with great facilities. We enjoyed a 4 night stay in one of the mid range rooms with breakfast. The room was well equipped including usb charging point Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

We had a swim in the pool which made for a refreshing end to the day.

The team made us feel very welcome and even helped us when we bumped into them up in Cortona.

We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Myself and my husband have just returned from this beautiful villa. We were attending a wedding in another villa across the road so our villa was an excellent choice. Nicolo and Alessandra went above and beyond to help us with anything especially organising a taxi to the train station. Definitely stay here it is such a beautiful place so peaceful. We are hoping to go back for a longer stay .

Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff, beautiful property with a great pool for relaxing in the Aug heat after a day of sightseeing.
Excellent breakfast in the garden including eggs to order.
I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the country side for visiting multiple places in Tuscany as day trips.

Such an adorable villa, pretty well maintained grounds, quaint, exactly what you envision for a Tuscan villa. Nice bathroom with good shower, comfortable bed, large room with beautiful views. The staff were fantastic, so friendly, helpful with recommendations & helping to plan excursions.

We chose it for a hot September day because of the pool (closed for the season), the restaurant (closed tonight, no explanation), and the wifi (not working in the room). None of this was mentioned when they accepted our booking and so it did not meet our needs and was expensive for what became simply a bed for the night.

Maybe I should have asked, but their listing clearly shows all of these facilities and I do not think should have to check.

We stayed at this hotel based on TripAdvisor comments and ratings but we were fairly disappointed. We had to carry our heavy bags up steep stairs since there was no one to help and no elevator. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the towels were crunchy and thin. The toilet brush was attached to the toilet paper holder and had liquid in it. There were no sodas or snacks available when we arrived hungry and thirsty. It seemed that only one person was running the entire place until later that night when we saw a nice man who helped is with a glass of wine and calling a taxi for dinner. I don't like writing negative reviews but would have appreciated reading some honest comments about the cleanliness of the bathroom and room which had a strong cologne odor. The lounge chairs around the pool are dirty and made of hard plastic and there definitely isn't pool service. If we had not expected such amenities all would be fine. The two people we met were very nice and tried to be helpful.
