Every body be careful. At the internal yard and at the stairs maybe construction materials will fall... The place is under construction and the civil engineers of the municipality has to check the security of the guests.
I booked this gem on a last minute notice flying in from Rome for one day. The location is right in the historic center of Catania, about 15 minutes from the airport. The check-in was fast, efficient and the clerk was super nice. During the pandemic, there where few other guests around and I was given a free upgrade to a larger room. The room was spacious and super clean, with stunning design details and a comfy king double bed, a giant LCD TV and a mini bar with strikingly good local beverages. In general, this hotel focusses on local foods, they have a small, but very delicious options on their dinner menu which varies on a daily basis according to what is available on the local market. All food and wine is from Sicily, and the breakfast options include a freshly squeezed juice from the fruit of your choice (check the pictures). I was overwhelmed by the service, the design and the taste of their food. It’s definitely a clear ‚go there‘, and I will be back, soon. …
Lovely comfortable bedroom and spacious rain shower / bathroom, small balcony overlooking picturesque buildings - just a shame no chairs to sit on or in room! All staff were very pleasant and helpful as needed. Excellent location for everything in old town Catania which was unexpectedly delightful. Great breakfasts. Only negative was noise from room above, I assume from the raised plinth the bathrooms situated on - poor architectural choice!!
Nice rooms, modern but not too much - Had everything we really needed and climate control did its job. Friendly personnel that helped us with booking a good restaurant for Ferrogosto and recommended beach clubs. Great breakfast with lots of fruit and home made products
Modern hotel in centre of Catania. Room was very modern and clean. Standout was how helpful the staff were - providing recommendations and making reservations for restaurants and Etna crater tour. They even provided us suggestions for the next stop of our trip in Taormina. Special thank you to Marco, Marianna and Valentina for all your help (including sourcing a wine tour for which we unfortunately didn’t manage to fit in during this trip). Breakfast was also really good - loads of fresh fruit including freshly made smoothie/juice.
