We stayed at the B&B Camera con Vista in October. We chanced upon it looking through Maps. What a find! The host, Alberto was superb. Very knowledgeable about the local area and explained exctly what there was to offer locally (to dine, places to visit and do). This no doubt enhanced our stay in the area immeasurably. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and had everything one could need. The plus point was it came with a parking space – very useful as this was very close to the city centre, so walking to the city was easy. There is also a large supermarket nearby. Breakfast was varied and fulsome – very suited to someone used to northern European breakfasts. Certainly very highly recommended for visiting the area around Oristano.

The apartment is located in the centre of Oristano, with a supermarket just minutes away that stocks everything you might possibly need. The room itself was absolutely spotless and very comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom. The continental breakfast was also lovely, with delicious coffee and food set up on the balcony. The thing that surprised us a little bit was that the room was actually just part of a large flat. I believe there were 3 B&B rooms centered around a kitchen/living area. When booking it, I was under the impression that it was a separate apartment, which would provide a little more privacy. Our host Alberto was very welcoming and pleasant, but if I'm honest I would have preferred a separate apartment without any interaction. After a long day of driving etc, we just wanted to spend some time together without the need for polite chit chat. This is just our personal opinion though and I'm sure this kind of thing doesn't matter to most people. I would still highly recommend the apartment.

We stayed at Camera con Vista in October and liked it very much. The rooms are on the 3rd floor of an apartment block which is conveniently located a short walk to the old town. Our room, recently refurbished, was a good size with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and we were able to eat it on a patio from the room where it was served. The owner Alberto helped us get the most from our stay with some great recommendations for beaches, other places to visit and restaurants.

We stayed here for one night on the 19th May 2017 the rooms are very nice and have lovely furniture. The owner kindly picked us up from theTrain Station however when we arrived there was builders on the balcony. Alberto the owner suggested we go out early in the morning and stay out all day to avoid the noise of the builders. He also offered us an apartment in the attic with a roof terrace which was full of rubbish on the terrace which he said he would move. The place was full of dust and in the morning the next day there were wires all over the dining area floor. The stairs of the apartment block were full of building materials including ladders when we arrived home after our evening meal in the town it was dangerous. We had initially booked the room for 9 nights to discover Sardinia after spending 2 nights in Rome we flew to Caliari. We were shocked that the place was a building site and very disappointed Alberto had not called us to cancel the booking due to the unfinished building work. We couldn't use the balcony and in the morning the men started drilling at 7 am and the blind was broken we were lay in bed and could see the builders through the voile. This was a nightmare what happened to us its like something you see on television in a film you couldn't make it up. We cancelled the rest of the stay and had to find somewhere else to stay for the rest of trip. Alberto offered to help find us somewhere else to stay after trying to persuade us to stay at his sisters place. We refused as we couldn't trust his judgement. We lost 2 days of our holiday due to this looking for somewhere else and relocating. He was still going to charge us then in an after thought decided not to charge us. We were unable to write a review on booking.com as the booking had been cancelled. What I can't understand is the last review on this site left on 2 days ago is amazing yet they stayed in May 2017 and never mentioned the building work. Can anybody explain this.

I can explain this: the guests that left the review decided to stay in the B&B thought the building works because the went out early in the morning and spent more time in the wonderful beaches and mountain around the city where the B&B is located. Also they loved the breakfast and our suggestions about things to see and to do in Sardinia and Oristano area. That's all. I'm sorry for the building works that had been to finish before your arrival but I made everything to solve your problem and would' been very easy because in May it's low season and you could find a lot of place better than mine immediately at the the price. I would pick upped you there... you decide to spend one night in our B&b instead mine suggestions and you didn't pay nothing for that and I called booking.com to be sure about it. Any way I hope you spent a good holiday in Bosa as you wanted chanched not only the hotel but the city too...
