Excellent quality of service in a beautiful hotel setting. All the staff are attentive, courteous and prepared. Our stay was splendid. We stato in the presidential suite: excellent! Then we moved on to a Classic suite but I must say that the level was really high throughout the stay. We leave Cagliari with great sadness but with a beautiful memory of the hotel and its staff
Most satisfying the way the Maitre dealt with a problem we had at breakfast. Then Gianantonio, the chef, spoke with us about our experience and invited us for a speciality of his: fresh tuna, seared and served with a peach sauce! Delicious. Thank you Gianantonio and Maitre.
We booked a Delux Room (in the Tower on a high floor) which had fantastic views of the Castello and old town of Cagliari. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, with a spacious bathroom with a shower. The reception and restaurant staff were all very helpful, friendly, and efficient (and most kindly fluent in English, as my Italian is poor). The choice of breakfast food was good (due cafe latte, for husband & I), and we also enjoyed the lunches in the bar T-Bistrot. The hotel is a slow 30min walk from tourist sights in Cagliari eg uphill to Castello, etc, but we quickly got the hang of local buses (bus tickets available from hotel reception), and there are taxi and even electric bicycles available from hotel. The hotel does host conferences, business people (famous football teams etc), but still felt very relaxed and welcoming to tourists. My only concern was that many of the hotel sofas (and the bed) are quite low to the ground, which is difficult with my bad back, but I could always find a more suitable chair. We had a session in the T-Spa, where there are loungers, steam room, herbal teas, pool with numerous bubbles and jets, which is all very relaxing, as they limit the numbers of adult guests allowed in at any one time. I also had a very good massage by Luana in the T-spa. There was a lovely little park opposite the hotel, with the Opera House, and nearby bars, cafes, gelateria and restaurants. Sardinians were lovely friendly people, and we really enjoyed the many tourist attractions of Cagliari, such as Castello with Cathedral, Royal Palace, Archaeological Museum. Marina district by sea for shops & cafes, Orto Botanico gardens, Roman Amphitheatre and Tigellios Villa, trip to Poetto beach, trip to Natural Park of Molentargius to see the wild Flamingos and other wildlife. We also did day trips out with guides to Nora, and Barumini (Unesco World Heritage site of Su Nuraghe). We hope to visit again.…
Staff were great breakfast was good also the only down side for me was that the bed was really low which is great if you fall out of them a lot but not if your trying to stand up. The room was clean and so was the hotel
Stayed here as part of SAGA tour. Modern, stylish hotel, good staff, large rooms and great bathroom, lots of mirrors and lighting. Great views of castello and Park across the road, which houses the Music Theatre and nice cafe.
