Stayed 4 nights B&B 12 - 16 Oct 2020, booked through JET2 City Breaks. Wow what a wonderful hotel. Although hotel is down a small narrow street with other hotels, very easily found from Water Bus from the airport. Very stylish, and fantastic welcome from the lady receptionist. Temperature check on arrival, hand sanitiser at reception, and at breakfast room. We had a cosy room booked, but upgraded for small charge to a larger room with balcony (just so we could play Juliet), well worth it. Remember there is always a room tax to pay on arrival.
Could not have asked for a nicer room. Huge bed, beautiful bathroom, fluffy towels, with small toiletries, hairdryer, free safe, tea/coffee facilities (ask for small jug of milk to take up to room at breakfast), fridge (2 small bottles of water free on arrival) and a smart phone, for you to take out and use during your visit.

Due to covid, you choose time of breakfast from 4 sittings, and choose what you would like per person and hand form to reception night before. Wonderful breakfast, plentiful, and a very polite and helpful waiter.

Receptionists were so knowledgeable and spent time pointing out places on a map, train times, bus locations etc. Every question we asked, they could answer with a smile, I thank them for their patience, they were brilliant.

Hotel location is a couple of minutes from the train station and about 8 minutes from the bus station, so ideally located. We walked over the big bridge from the hotel and followed the little winding streets to Rialto and St Marks Square. Got the hang of it eventually and only got lost a few times (thanks google maps), but that is the fun of it. I would say it would take around 25 minutes to walk there, taking a directish route. I would recommend eating near the Grand Canal (Ristorante Florida), or the little restaurants near there, perhaps on your way back to the hotel in the evening. There are quite a lot of small restaurants very close to hotel, but they were as expensive as eating near the main attractions, but without the wonderful view and better atmosphere.

Would 100% stay at this hotel again. Thank you again all staff .

Me and my partner had a delightful 3 night stay at this hotel. It is very modern but still keeps in with the Venetian style.

Our room was lovely and spacious and we even had our own balcony which I was extremely pleased with. Massive TV in the room with Netflix which is needed after a long day of walking around. The room was always clean and fresh towels provided daily. The shower was powerful and we were provided with shower gel etc in the room.

Breakfast was good although we were sad that pancakes were only out on our first morning, it would have been good to have them as an option every morning.

The location is great, with a water bus and water taxi stop a few minutes walk away and the fact it isn’t far from the train station, tram stop and bus that we used to get from the airport, making it much easier once you have been travelling. Plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance.

All the staff were extremely helpful and made our trip extra special by bringing out a muffin with a candle on my partners birthday morning (which I didn’t request, so was very thoughtful). I want to thank Alberto especially he is a true credit to the hotel. He checked us in and explained how to avoid scams and where the best places were to visit. Every time we walked past him at the desk he had a big smile and always said hello. He really had a big positive impact on our trip.

If you’re thinking about booking this hotel and reading this review BOOK IT. We would 100% stay here again.

The hotel location is very convenient less than 10mins walking distance from the Venice Rail Station and Bus Terminal just off the grand Canal with water taxi / bus stop near by. The location is about a 40mins leisurely walk to the main tourist area of St Marco Square, so the area was quieter and a little cheaper for evening meals etc.

We had 2 adjacent rooms, both were immaculately clean, modern, with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds (once we worked out how to use the TV's they were fine). The hotel also provide a smart phone with free calls and tourist apps to use when you are in the city which was a nice touch. The breakfast was a nice buffet and the staff friendly. It was good value for money.

Spent two nights at the Venice Times Hotel on 13th to 15th June with friends. This hotel is tucked away down a side street away from the busy tourist routes literally 2-3 minutes walkaway.
Inside you will be greeted by excellent staff and service who happily met our every need and the hotel itself is beautifully designed, clean and very modern from the room to the dining area in doors and out through to the reception. A real gem literally hidden away from the rush of all the tourist which of course we were part of that.
Free wifi was excellent which was not our highest priority, but always useful. The room has a smart phone that is provided free of charge and was extremely useful when walking and travelling around Venice, a very simple but useful item to be provided with.
My wife, myself and our friends loved the hotel and would absolutely look to stay again whenever we return to Venice.
Our rooms were on the first floor not accessible by lift and only a short walk down a corridor, there appears to only be three rooms on the first floor.
Not much of a view from the window, but to be honest the views are outside in the streets and waterways so that was not a problem for us.
So in summary if you are looking for a nice hotel, not to big and quiet with a lovely outside space serving a good breakfast and lunchtime pizzas then the Venice Times Hotel is a must.
Thankyou to all the staff we met and the lovely stay we had.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at The Venice Times Hotel in Venice and were extremely impressed!

We had recently stayed in Paris at another hotel of supposed similar standard and I can assure you that this was far superior!

All of the staff were friendly and attentive and always went out of their way to make conversation and offer help and suggestions on where to eat etc. We followed their meal suggestions on two evenings and each time they were great!

The hotel itself is romantic and modern but in a cosy way. The room we booked was ‘standard’ but it was very roomy and stylish and the cleanliness was exceptional.

We will definitely be back again soon

Thank you

We liked the modern quality. It was fresh, cool, and functional. The cozy room we had originally was not in my opinion comfortable for 2 guests, each with a full size suitcase. We could manage if we opened them on the bed but my wife has a strict protocol for bedding. Nothing that has just come in from the city and can’t take a shower. So for a nominal cost we got a superior room for 2 which had plenty of room for suitcases on the floor, and necessities available on the tables and ledges. The bathroom was long and narrow but was up to date with the most counter space we encountered ( room 104 ) in the 3 rooms of our trip. Also the breakfast was excellent with nice sized cappuccino on demand.

We had a very nice stay at Venice times hotel.
On arrival we were informed that if we skipped the cleaning any day we could get a free drink at the bar which is a great initiative.
The staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you.
The room was very clean and very well presented with nice linen and towels.
The breakfast was also really nice.
Unfortunately what made me award 4 stars to this hotel was the noise which resulted in poor sleep quality. There are no doors in the corridors and you could hear all the noise from the staircase and doors opening and closing. One of the morning we were awoken at 7 am by a child screaming somewhere along the hotel. This could be fixed if the hotel closed off the area between the stairs and rooms.
Apart from that, it is a nice, clean hotel in a very good location with helpful staff.

The location is really good as described in other reviews just a few minutes from the train station. The hotel is down a small alley which may take a bit of locating, so a phone map app is useful. You are only a short walk from the hotel back to Ferrovia where you will find all the local transport available, plus lots of eateries before you set off to explore Venice.

As for the hotel, yes the staff are helpful, speak very good English, & offer lots of great advice about what to do & how to do it. The room is clean and modern, with very good AC . Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice of both hot and cold items, and a choice of lots of Italian coffees.
We were in room 304, which they describe as “ A double cosy room”, which actually means incredibly small, there is no chairs in the room so sitting is on the bed, which incidentally there is just enough room for you to walk around, there is a distinct lack of sockets available, 1 infact, the only other socket is in the bathroom just a couple of inches above the sink.
The tv has no English channels, but does have apps available, one being Netflix and if you have an account you can use, unless you are in rooms 104, 204, or 304, which we were, apparently the hotel was hit in a storm a month or so previous and had knocked out the apps in these rooms, we enquired if they could just swap out the to for one that worked, but that wasn’t available.
The bathroom could best be described as a galley type, very small, so much so that at 6’ 1” if need to use the toilet your knees are against the wall opposite, the shower door doesn’t fit properly thus flooding the area, the shower tray is very slippery and doesn’t drain very well, as mentioned there is very little space, so to get dry you need to shuffle along the bathroom towards the bedroom to find enough space to bend over to dry yourself. There is tea and coffee making facility in the room, but very limited, enough for one cup per person per day, plus you have to drink it from a paper cup.

Reception staff were really helpful from the start. However, the room let it down slightly by our TV not working fully, air conditioning was loud and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable as the bedding was annoying. Breakfast was also cold one morning, however the gentlemen made a lovely coffee every morning. All staff were accommodating and it’s very clean.

We stayed at the hotel in December 2021. Service at the front desk was amazing from each employee that attended us and were very welcoming and helpful. The first person that helped us spoke several languages which was convenient for my family that primarily speaks spanish. We were staying the night of Christmas Eve so we wanted to eat somewhere nice and she recommended a list of local restaurants that we might like. She even called the restaurants to make a reservation for us. We left the following day on an early flight and she arranged for someone to come extremely early to help us with our luggage since otherwise we would have to drag our bags around. Since our flight was so early we were leaving the hotel before breakfast opened. By the time we got downstairs they had prepared a little bag with breakfast snacks in there for each person in our group. Highly recommend this hotel with amazing service as well as very clean and appealing hotel. One of the best hotels we stayed at in our 20 day visit in Europe.

Yes. The hotel has an elevator to all floors. It is quite small, as are the elevators in European hotels.

I didn’t use them but they was a supply of body wash, soap and moisturiser I think. Don’t recall seeing any hair products. Reception staff are very helpful though.
