I have stayed in the hotel for just two nights (quick visit to Venice).
The hotel location is great .. just 5 mins walk from Zateeree Water bus station in a relatively quiet area .. but directly on the water. It is 10-15 mins walk from Rialto Bridge.
Half of the hotel is being re

Dear Islam_Mongy, we would like to thank you for your really kind review. We are delighted to read that you fully enjoyed your stay at Palazzo Veneziano and our Prestige Canal Ognissanti Room appreciated. I will forward your kind feedback to our hotel staff, and thank you for underline is well trained. Palazzo Veneziano has been fully rennovated last year, and since we opened our areas are totally completed, but unfortunately our neighbours start some unscheduled maintenance, anyway we have a deal with them, they do not disturb during the hours of rest. We are glad to read that our neighbours workings did not effect on your, and others, stay. Looking forward to have you back soon. Warm Regards Jacopo Trevisan

Absolutely spectacular. Room was luxurious, staff exceptionally helpful and breakfast outstanding. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect for us - away from the hustle and bustle but an easy 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main attractions. Great value for money.

Palazzo Veneziano is a small boutique hotel. The Rooms and the toilets are great and beautiful. The breakfast spread is also very good and both staff and service was great. We really loved the location and you can walk out and be on the sea shore..

Good morning, we have reserved a room for the 9th November , could you please kindly advise on the current flooding situation? Many thanks, Yuan
Dear Yuan B, The Acqua Alta season in Venice usually endures from November until February and occasionally extra high tides can occur, other than the almost certain, but by no means constant flooding in St. Mark’s square (being the lowest point of the city) during these months. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that, when the water level rises, it comes back to normal after a maximum of 6 hours, like the usual tide. The 29th of October 2018 was an almost historic day in Venice regarding the tide, but after 6 hours, as mentioned previously, the city went back to normality. We would like to assure you that there are no risks to explore the city and for the coming days there’s no more high water predicted - it’s just Venice, in all its beauty and extravagance. Always at your disposal. Best regards Julian Front Desk

We will be arriving at the airport. Did anyone take a taxi to the island and walk to the hotel? I understand it is about 250 yards, but not sure how difficult it will be with some large bags. Any other options that worked well? Thanks
I would also recommend contacting the hotel and asking them to arrange the taxi. The driver walked us to the hotel but as I said before it was only five minutes. If your cases have wheels then no problems.

Looking at this hotel, but was wondering how close it is to the main sights? My first trip to Venice and wondering if I should stay closer to Marco Square? Any advice?
There are plenty of great restaurants near the hotel but the ones on the main strip on the water are “touristy” restaurants and are pricey and doesn’t have the best food (ie authentic northern Italian cuisine) and the service isn’t the best. Having stayed in Venice 3-4 times now, I suggest you try finding little places in the backstreets which there are plenty of behind Palazzo Veneziano since it is the local Dorsoduro area (where locals live), and the food is cheaper and a more authentic experience is to be had together with friendly service.

Do any of the suites have two double beds.
The suit we were in had one double bed. If the shape and space of the suits are all similar it’s not likely that they have two double beds. But maybe give them a call. Booking dot kom gives most of the times a clear picture about the rooms and the beds
