The Radisson Blu Hotel in Milan garners praise for its array of amenities, including well-kept rooms, a satisfying breakfast, and excellent fitness facilities, complemented by convenient public transport links. Guests commonly commend the spacious and immaculate rooms, though some feel the on-site dining and amenities are somewhat overpriced. The hotel's service generally receives accolades for staff responsiveness and cordiality, although there have been a few hiccups with restaurant service. With its inviting atmosphere and clean environment, this hotel is celebrated for offering a comfortable stay just outside the city center.

We got married in December and decided to book Milan last minute for a mini honeymoon.
We told the Raddison the nature of our trip and they made things extra special for us, we were upgraded to a superior room on the 7th floor and for watching the new years eve fireworks it will be an experience we will never forgot, amazing.
We also had a surprise bottle of prosseco and strawberry's sent up from the management.

Pool is lovely for a city hotel, could be a couple of degrees hotter and would have been perfect.

good heating system in room, bathrooms amazing and clean, great TV on the wall, very modern, USB charge sockets built in to the walls also.

Alot of people saying its far from city center which is true however Milan is so big you will have to use public transport no matter where you stay.

There is a tram stop right outside the hotel to the left. use the number 12 tram (Via moisesse) to get the Duomo square, from here you can use metro to go anywhere in the city. Look out for the number 12 again (rossairo) to get back to the hotel.

Best spots: Brera district for meals and drinks and shopping, very nice at night. Duomo to see the cathedral, however expensive in this area for food and drinks, But my favorite area of all was by the canals, great spots for aperitivo and drinks, very lively and beautiful at night.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. We stayed for a week in 2 rooms including a junior suite as a family of 5 and kids were pretty impressed. Rooms were cleaned and bottles of water replenished each day.

The hotel is about 30 mins away by tram to the city centre / tourist attractions. We actually enjoyed our trips on the tram too, another way to see and soak up the atmosphere. We rented a car to go Serravalle outlet (another to do) and got back really late so had to park at the hotel car park. This was a relief as there were no other available spaces. The car park space was convenient and we could use the lift from there directly back on to our room floor.

Breakfast was great too and the staff were always pleasant. One time my husband had to leave abruptly to attend a call and Hussain (I think that’s his name) quickly got me a takeaway pack to put his food in. That was so thoughtful and kind of him.

What makes this hotel special though are the staff especially the front desk staff. Marco and Clara stood out for us. Always there with a wonderful smile. To be honest every establishment needs a Marco and Clara! Personally I looked forward to seeing Marco every day with his big smile. He went over and beyond and made a memorable difference to our trip. He recommended a nearby restaurant too - Nonna Vittoria ( a must do) and this was just the best. We had an excellent time from start to finish.

If you read this review and you stay at this hotel then you must also go eat at Nonna Vittoria. Thank me later!

I read the reviews of this hotel and thought that as a part of the Radisson chain it couldn't be too bad, was I ever wrong! The room was filthy, run down and dated. (wonky toilet, loose tiles in the bathroom, shower cubicle that only had a rain shower so I had to shower in the tub, shabby paint and not enough outlets for this century) In the morning the cleaning lady knocked on my door about 9:30am to see if she could come in to clean, she came back 3 times before I finally went out. This lady came with just a bucket for her supplies rather than the usual cart that they carry but she impressed me as the room was cleaner than when I checked in.

The bed with only 2 pillows was at least comfortable. The breakfast at 20€ was ridiculously expensive compared to all others that I have visited during my month in Italy!

The worst part was the the people working at this hotel were not at all service oriented. It really was like I was a huge inconvenience to whatever they were doing. A shame to the Radisson chain!

I am surprised a Hotel that charges so much and that can not offer half of the things they say because of Covid doesn't offer more kindness and understanding to a family if they have problems with trains. The Hotel should have sent a mail with new booking and the conditions of it and we never got one. Asked if we could have late check out in the evening when we arrived and when we came back our keys where blocked. Absolute no service of any kind and still strict with policies and not even attending well. The air condition in the room didn't work well and there was hardly toiletries.

Lovely hotel, all communal areas looked nice and on the luxurious side. The room was clean and really spacious with a big bed and huge shower. The pool is a nice touch (especially in the evening when it's quiet!).
The restaurant area was lovely and the food was good quality for lunch and dinner.
The hotel isn't located right in the centre of Milan, but it's an easy 30 minute direct trip on the tram which is right outside the hotel to get to the Duomo. The staff were helpful in advising us on how to get about and buy tram tickets too so it was easy to find our way about.

My only negative would be that I felt breakfast was very expensive for what you get at $20 per day per person. The breakfast offering was pretty standard for these sorts of hotels, the food was average but with plenty of options available. I just feel that most people aren't likely to eat $20 worth of food for breakfast - that's more than some of their main meals cost!

We stayed 3 days in this hotel. It is well served by public transport. However quite far from the center.
Prefer the taxi in the evening, it’s safer.
The hotel has parking, ideal for leaving your vehicle safe during your stay.
The hotel is very large, quite impersonal like all chain hotels.
Clean rooms, top bedding.
Breakfast with choice but not great quality.
As for the restaurant, to avoid, improper cooking, absence of vegetables... very expensive and very mediocre.
The reception staff are friendly and welcoming.

Good hotel well done rooms with lots of comfort and amenities. I think a better job would be done in allocating the rooms - I was all alone, yet allocated a twin bed room instead of 1 queen size bed room. Everything else was OK.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Milano for only 1 night (stopover during our road trip) following an offer on Voyage Privé which allowed us to get a good price. We have not been disappointed! We were able to park without problem on the street, at the foot of the hotel. The room is spacious, very well equipped and decorated in a modern and tasteful way. The hotel is very nice but we weren't able to really enjoy it. The breakfast is perfect, wide choice of sweet/salty as well as cold/hot. Of course, it is a little far from the city center of Milan but the tram is just a stone's throw away and very practical. The only downside, the surrounding environment is not great but for 1 night, it was very good for us.

Dear Shubham, Thank you for taking time and sharing your experience at Radisson Blu Milan. We are sorry to hear that we were not able to make you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay. The opinions of our guests are very important for us and this is definitely not the level of service we strive for. Honestly, from your note, I imagine that you did not check the location and the standards of the hotel and there is nothing I can do about, to make you fell better at our property. On our defence, during you stay, we have not received any feedback from you and for this reason it's frustrating to read your note towards this hotel and all the staff that work every day to make the stay of all the guests special. If you really think that this score is referred to the level of the hotel, it’s your opinion and we respect it, but probably you have chosen this hotel without checking the services and the location and for this reason, please be aware of the review that can influence negatively other guests, but not having the right information of the property where you were staying. We are really proud of the quality service of this property and many guests decide to stay in our property for this reason. Best regards Stefano Miccoli General Manager

Hello All, Can I please ask if the indoor pool is now accessible? Thanks!
Answer from Stefano Miccoli

Dear Guest, Late at night, it is hard to find public transportation. You can easy jump on a taxi from Stazione Centrale, the taxi ride at night will not be too expensive, I would say around 20 euro for a 15 minutes ride. Otherwise, as Paulina said, if you are coming from Malpensa there is the XP1 train that stops at Bovisa station, and from there you can walk to the hotel in about 15 minutes. We look forward to welcoming you here in Milan. Best regards, Marco Scola General Manager

Answer from Stefano Miccoli

Dear Sonya, unfortunately we don't have a shuttle service as we are really close to Villapizzone train station (Passante Ferroviario) and the airports or the city centre are really well connected. Another option possible is to take a taxi, it costs about €18 from Milano Central station and about 15€ from Garibaldi train station, otherwise we can organise transfer from Malpensa Airport for 95€ or from BGY for 105€. I hope I was helpful. Warm regards, Marco Scola General Manager
Answer from Stefano Miccoli
Milan, Italy
Dear Sonya, thank you for contacting us. From BGY airport to our hotel you can follow these instructions: • Take bus to Milano Centrale Railway Station • From Milano Central Station take the M3 line to Republica Subway Station (just 1 stop) • At Repubblica subway station, go to Suburban train lines. Here you can either take a train to Varese S5 or Novara S6 • Get off at Milano Villapizzone • Walk northwest toward Via Michele Pericle Negrotto • Slight right onto Via Villapizzone. The hotel will be on the right Concerning how to get to Como Lake the best way is to take a train from Milano Cadorna railway station. To go there you can take the train line S5 or S6 directed to Treviglio (just 2 stop) and go out at Milano Porta Garibaldi. From there you can take the metro line M2 (green line), direction Abbiategrasso/Assago for 4 stops and get our at the metro stop cadorna. You can check the travel times at the Trenord website. If you prefer to check out for a car rental it will be only 40 mins driving from Milan. Feel free to ask any other question at our staff at the reception. We are looking forward to welcome you. Warm regards, Marco Scola General Manager
