Hotel Villa Argentina dominates the antique village of Riomaggiore .The small e quaint hotel has most its room heated with view of the sea and small sunny terrace ,all of which included private satellite TV, safe and ceiling fans. The hotel is in perfect position to begin some beautiful walks(via dell’amore) and hikes unite the towns in the midst of mother nature’s untainted scenery.

I had already been before, discovering that it has been under new management for a few years. I found the same wonderful family and exquisite atmosphere that I had found previously and that had inspired me to return. Managed by a married couple who never fail to smile for customers. Fantastic staff and excellent quality home made breakfast. The location is about a hundred meters flat from the beginning of the restricted traffic zone, in the upper part of the city, away from the large crowds and in a very quiet position, dominating Riomaggiore. Absolutely worth considering for a holiday. Passed with full marks

Great view and good hotel
We stayed in a sea views balcony room and the views were breathtaking and a welcome relief from the crowds of Cinque Terre.
The room was spotless, the staff excellent and a really good breakfast.
The shower wasn’t great and a half sink made shaving interesting.
But we would definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean and efficient. We had a room 200 metres away from the hotel. The breakfast was not self service, but ok.
The main problem was the location, which was at the end of the town and quite high up (there was a lift nearby). There were no bars or restaurants nearby, so a walk was necessary.

Receptionist who wears glasses too arrogant. after 6 hours of travel she treated me very badly because I said I didn't have a sign indicating the hotel.
the sign hidden behind an overgrown wall. reception closes 8 PM.
the rooms you can hear people screaming and bed walking. remembering that the reception is closed at 8PM. who to complain to?
poor coffee, cake and iced fruit, bread of just one kind. hot orange juice
car space 25 euros, car on the street with no private area and no sign saying it belongs to the hotel. we arrived one day and the place was occupied. who to complain ???? reception closes at 8 PM
place so depressing that I didn't even take a picture

Clean and functional room, not close to the beach and reachable with luggage laboriously. After check in and the various efforts to reach the structure with suitcases we were given a qr code for the elevator that would be charged, a problem easily solved if they had provided it in advance by e-mail. Some welcoming staff members, others rude even for questions to which a guest may not know the answers.

Hotel Argentina is the best! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking Riomaggiore and view of the Gulf of Genoa. The lovely hostess made homemade breakfast bread which was delicious! I left my raincoat and hoodie in their lobby on the last day of our visit and the staff found my clothing and mailed back to me! I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff and owners. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and strong shower in the renovated bathroom. We were glad that the nearby elevator near the church was working so the climb back and forth town was doable. The rates are reasonable and this hotel is in a great location for the money.

My husband and I visited Cinque Terra in June. We stayed at the Hotel Villa Argentina. It is located on the top of the town of Riomaggiore. Our room was small but very functional and clean. The view from our balcony made the climb up through the town and the four flights of stairs to get to our room totally worth it.
Antonio and Alessandra are the lovely couple that run the hotel. Breakfast every morning was fantastic. Pastries, home made jams, meats, cheeses, and exceptional coffee. All the staff was incredibly friendly.
We also enjoyed visiting the other villages that make up Cinque Terra. The train was easy to take from one place to the next.
We loved our stay.

The town is beautiful and this hotel is in a god peaceful area.
But DO NOT take a room ”side building”. It is 5 minutes walk from the main building And very tiny. You can hear everything from the next room. Actually it is behind some fences and not a view at all. Big small animals on the floor.
We could not stay the place and luckily got a room from the main building.
A worker in a reception was not very nice actually quite bad behaviour.
The side building was a terrible experience and we got nothing in change.

Nice and clean hotel. With elevator, free, also convenient to reach while being at the top. Hearty breakfast buffet. Terrace with sea view. Very kind staff. Acceptable price considering the average.

Definitely a nice option in a magical part of the world: we stayed one night in late November, and they treated us as if we'd had a reservation for a long time, really treated us well. They let us use one of their parking spots without additional charge(probably because it was off season), and one English-speaking staffperson was very helpful to us; the room itself was small but definitely adequate and cozy, had a nice balcony and bathroom, good hairdryer, and there was a nice breakfast spread with the best coffee of our trip; overall we had a good experience and thought it was a great location, I'd love to go back to Cinque Terre and would definitely stay here again if we decide that staying in Riomaggiore is the best way to see this area again

This hotel was like many of the others we visited during our 11 day, 16 leg tour, by train. Breakfast served from 7:30 until 10. Plenty of great pastries, wonderful breads, always prisuotto and a variety of cheeses, assorted preserves, juice and espresso. Even made lattes and cappuccino. Small diningroom, but quite comfortable.
Yes. You can book parking space or garage in advance. EUR 15 per day. Very convenient.
Ciao Simona. La nostra camera non era accessibile per i disabili. Per accedere c'era una scala esterna, ma non ricordo come fosse la doccia.
