The Hotel Pasquale is the gem of the Cinque Terre hotels based on location, cost, services and absolute immaculate facilites and room. My wife and I booked directly with the Hotel in FEB 2022 for an April 3 days visit. Felicita and Emanuela were our primary hosts in the unique 15 room boutique hotel. The view from the balcony of our room was breath taking of the ocean and coastline.
The room was cozy and very well appointed with modern shower and bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was included from a menu with first class choices and table service. The location on the Monterosso beach was a perfect location to the train station and access to both old town and new town. It was a great launch point from which to visit the other villages and hiking trails. The entire staff was very enabling and supportive wanting our stay to be a memory making experience! Hotel Pasquale is a can miss choice!!

We were lucky enough to stay four nights at this pleasant hotel! Even though it was the end of the season, we’re were treated as if we were their favorite guests! The front office ladies, Felicita and Emanuel, were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and gave us good tips about the eateries in our location. We were able to buy train passes from them and day passes to hike the trails in the park and to the connecting villages.
Every room in the hotel had a view of the gorgeous beach and rocky cliffs. We especially liked room 11. The hotel was spotless. There was an elevator and of course a stairway to the rooms. The water pressure in the showers was strong. There was a water kettle with coffee and teas in the room. They offered a very nice breakfast and there was a small bar serving coffees, spirits, beer and wine.
The hotel was located in 'old town' but was a short, easy 10 minute walk to the 'new town', train station, and restaurants.
There was a nice sitting area in the front of the hotel to people watch or gaze out to the sea.
Monterosso was our favorite village of the 5 and this hotel was the best place to stay to enjoy our surroundings!

We returned to Italy for our 25th wedding anniversary and chose Monterosso and Hotel Pasquale for our week stay. Felicita, Angelo, and Emanuela were wonderful. Sadly, we missed our first night because of airline issues and when we finally got there a day late, my luggage was lost! Felicita was so helpful in calling and talking with the airline people to help expedite the delivery of my luggage! We were in room 9 and it was very nice. The attached room with a single bed and bathroom was perfect for our daughter! She actually had a bigger shower than we did! The beds were comfortable and the air worked great. I love the grey and blue colors. In looking at some older reviews, it seems like the hotel went through a big renovation is recent years because we had none of those issues. Yes the train is loud when the balcony door is open, but once you close it, it really isn't that bad. There can be some noise from the piazza across the way, but that's part of the great location. We loved being able to walk easily to the train station and even easier right into town! Breakfast in the morning was always delicious and made to order. Angelo is a master with the cappuccino machine! Next time we plan a trip to Italy we will add a couple days here just to visit with everyone!

Hi, we stayed with kids. The hotel is really nice and staff is very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and beyond expectations. But we cannot recomend monterosso al mare for beach holiday. 95% of the beach is privat. you have to rent an umbrella and two chairs for max 3 people. Three people cost you thirtyfive euros a day. As a family with three kids we had to rent two sets for 70 euros one day, which is typically italy. The beach is not of sand its gravel, and there is allmost no public space to stay for free. At weekend there is no space at all its totally crowded. for us it was the first and last time there, since beaches are not nice and gravel and you can not find a nice place free of charge. 35 euro every they to have a decent space at the beach is just an rip-off. We can not recoment monterosso al mare for beach and family vacations! There are nicer places less overfluted with tourists, where you can relax without having fear to get riped of. Next time back to the clean and nice beaches free of charge in croatia again!

This hotel is fantastic! We stayed here as part of a multi generational family trip, which included our 19 month old daughter. Emmanuela and her staff went above and beyond accommodating everything we would need. We booked early and got a balcony room where we enjoyed drinks (lemon spritz for me!) and people watched every day. The breakfast was excellent with eggs and coffees made to order, as well as fruit, yogurt, cheeses, delicious pastries and a "cake of the day." The hotel's location is in the heart of the old town and you can walk to all the beaches, shops, and restaurants within just a few minutes. We can't wait to come back to Cinque Terre and stay here again! Bravissimo!!

Where do I even start? This hotel is truly a hidden gem and part of me wants to keep this hotel my little secret and the other part of me wants to scream to the world how special this hotel is to help ensure they succeed. Hotel Pasquale is an 8 minute scenic walk from the train station with minimal elevation, which is a blessing in Cinque Terre's hilly terrain. The hyper focus on customer service and going above and beyond to throw in special touches anywhere they can. When we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by the sweetest host. While we went through the check in process our bags were dropped at our room, and we were eventually escorted up and given a tour of the space. Shortly after our tour we got a knock at our door with complimentary glasses of champagne. Our room had a spectacular ocean view with a small patio where we were able to enjoy a few glasses of wine during our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. They offer a breakfast in the lobby each morning and I would highly recommend partaking. The food is so fresh, and the service is next level. In short, this hotel really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cinque Terre. We cannot wait to book our next visit.

My husband and I spent a week at Hotel Pasquale after our son’s wedding in Como. We researched many places in Monterosso but were drawn to this one due to wonderful reviews about the family that runs it, location, amenities and ambiance. We were not misled at all, in fact Hotel Pasquale and the beautiful family that runs it over exceeded our expectations. The hotel sits nestled above the sea with the balconies overlooking the piazza where you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sun rise or close the evening with glass of wine with the lovely sounds of the waves lapping the beach. The family serves fresh cooked breakfast each morning with a wonderful variety of food choices. There are comfortable tables outside to enjoy an afternoon beverage and snack after a day of hiking the paths of Cinque Terre or before heading out to taste the local cuisine for the evening. The family is always welcoming to assist with questions or desires. Thank you for the beautiful hospitality Hotel Pasquale!

We stayed at Hotel Pasquale for 4 days in July, 2022. It was very easy to make a reservation by email. The location of the hotel is right infront of the beach in Old Town. Everything is accessible; Pier, Plaza, Restaurants, Shops, Beach at New Town and Train Station. Among the five Villages of Cinque Terre, Monterosso is the only Village that has beach access. Yes, it’s noisy, but it didn’t bother me at alll. I hear the sound of the waves, cicadas, train and people. Our room has Seaview and a porch, where we usually stay in the morning and in the afternoon to enjoy the scenery of Monterosso.
The hotel is so clean and interior decoration is pretty. Our breakfast prepared by Angelo, Felecita and Emanuela are so delicious. Their other staff are to be commended as well. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Among the five Villages of Cinque Terre, I would still want to make Hotel Pasquale in Monterosso as my home base. I don’t have to walk uphill just to reach my accommodation. Felecita gifts her clients with a souvenir, a potholder with recipe of Cinque Terre Pesto, which I will try to make.
I highly recommend to stay at this beautiful Hotel Pasquale in Monterosso al Mare, Cinque Terre.

Wow! What a wonderful hotel located directly on the beach in Cinque Terre (Monterroso). This quaint hotel has only 15 rooms and all face the beach and Mediterranean. The rooms are all comfortable, clean and all have amazing views of the beach and cliffs. The hotel is an easy five minute walk from the train station. There are many wonderful restaurants and stores all within a few blocks of the hotel. The staff is fantastic. Throughout our two night stay, they were checking in on us and giving advice and suggestions. You can also purchase your tickets to hike the trails between the villages at the front desk. Daily breakfast was perfect - fruit, breads, meats/cheese and a wonderful daily 'sweet cake'. Overall, this was one of our favorite hotels during our trip to Italy an we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cinque Terre!

Girls trip to Italy !! We stayed at this hotel for four nights in August and I can honestly say that this hotel is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Italy . Family ran hotel, from check in to check out the staff were absolutely amazing and truly welcoming. The rooms and the hotel itself is in immaculate condition, so clean. The breakfast was phenomenal with everything made from scratch by the family. Everything from fresh fruit to eggs to homemade cakes. Enjoying your morning cappuccino on your balcony with a great view of the sea is absolutely stunning. With a full service bar this hotel can make you any drink you prefer. The evening atmosphere on the front patio of the hotel while drinking a glass of wine is wonderful. This hotel has the best location, within walking distance to the train station and close by everything else you would need during your stay. The whole staff at this hotel is so knowledgable when it comes to travelling to the other villages /surrounding towns . Getting there, places to go, things to do and what not to do. I honestly could have not picked up better hotel and location. Staying at this hotel, you feel like you are truly a part of the family, so much that we had tears in our eyes when we were leaving.
Without a doubt, I will be definitely staying here again when in Italy.
Thanks for everything Hotel Pasquale.
