Born in the 1970s from the recovery of an old house on the sea and then expanded in 2003, the hotel marina piccola has always been one of the reference points for hospitality in the Cinque Terre. The 12 rooms of the hotel, bright and recently renovated, are furnished in a contemporary style and, from some, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the sea. Manarola station and the boat dock, while the parking lot can be reached in about 15/20 minutes walking.

I can't say enough about how great this hotel was. The view from our room over the water was breathtaking. It was central to downtown. We did a 7-day tour prior to coming to Manarola and stayed in 4-5 different hotels and the showers were teeny in every place we stayed. It was so nice to get to a place with a large shower. The room and beds were also great. Breakfast everyday was amazing and when we had to leave very early on our last day they even gave us a brown bag breakfast the night before to take with us! I would give this location 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic location, overlooking the harbor. Rooms 11 & 12 both have harbor view, no balcony. Manarola is very busy during the day but peaceful and uncrowded in the mornings and evenings. Staff could not have been more helpful and for a small deposit provide you with beach towels, I strongly recommend going for a swim in the harbor and layout on the rocks. Rooms have been updated in a modern style and breakfast is serviced on one long table with plenty of options.

Cute little hotel right at the harbour front of Manarola. Our room has the most amazing view of the harbour - there is a constant stream of tourists coming to that very spot underneath our windows to take photos! It gets a bit noisy during the day but the village turns to quiet at night after the daytrippers have gone home.

The staff at the front desk are very sweet and friendly. Due to covid they are not serving a breakfast buffet and instead you choose from a menu, freshly made to order, which suited us better.

Room is spacious, clean and modern. Very comfortable bedding. It’s a charming little hotel that I think is one of the best places to stay in Cinque Terre.

I’d highly recommend Manarola out of all the villages - it’s the prettiest and cutest, feels like a real village with locals going about their daily life.

Wonderful stay and we can’t wait to go back.

We loved our anniversary stay in Manarola at the hotel. Jessica and Alberto were so helpful with the room, our breakfasts (vegetarian friendly), and planning our visit . They hooked us up with a well priced group boat tour of the five towns, some hiking advice, as well as some wonderful restaurant recommendations.
We had a wonderful view from our hotel room as well.

We received the warmest welcome on arrival at this boutique hotel. The owners are incredibly friendly and are always there to help with any questions throughout the day.

The rooms are modern and have excellent air conditioning. Breakfast is of the highest quality with freshly baked pastries and cooked eggs/pancakes, fruit, yoghurt and coffee.

The hotel is located at the front of the marina which makes it so easy to wander down to the waterfront to reserve a sunbathing area before the hundreds of tourists arrive from 9.30am.

You could not ask for more friendly or accommodating hosts. They were wonderful. They suggested excellent restaurants for dinner and even called to make the reservations for us.
Breakfast still has two seatings due to COVID, but you can order eggs and pancakes, plus they have a lovely array of homemade baked goods, fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses, etc.
Our room was a bit noisy (it faced the street and there’s a bar nearby) but the windows and shutters did a pretty good job keeping the sound out.
There are two buildings with twelve rooms, and yes, it can be a hike up the stairs, but it’s worth it.
Our only suggestion would be to add more shelves or storage space. We were there for three nights, and although there’s plenty of space for hanging clothes, there are no drawers or shelves.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 17 yo and 15 yo - so really 4 adults in terms of sizes). The hotel is in a great location in Manarola near the harbor. The owners are very kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast is great with ample choices, and they will prepare eggs and pancakes on request. We requested 2 rooms next to each other since one room could not accommodate all of us. The rooms are modern and clean with good A/C and we were pleasantly surprised to find Netflix available on the TV. We were completely happy with our choice of Hotel Marina Piccola.

This place is in the most perfect location and has gorgeous surroundings. Our room had a view of the Manarola harbor and was nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and happily answered all of our many questions. The cleaning staff clearly did not like kids and were very rude in general, but the nice behavior of the rest of the staff made up for this a hundred times. Our room had air condition which was an absolute must as we visited Manarola in July. The breakfast menu had some nice things to choose from and everything came quickly after being ordered.
We spent three nights here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Charming owners, very attentive and helpful. Great location. We had room number 8 up three steep flights of stairs( no elevator) with view of the village. We had a sweet terrace overlooking the street. The windows are double glazed to block out noise. It was clean and comfortable with very efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was great. Alberto and Jessica did everything to make our stay comfortable and made our restaurant reservations for us. They are located right by the harbour so very easy to catch the Cinque Terre ferry. Will definitely go back.

During our stay in Manarola, we chose this hotel which borders the sea. The room is relatively large, clean with a view of the sea. The breakfast is affordable (10 euros) and varied. The managers are welcoming, helpful and speak several languages (Italian, French, English). They will give you advice on local activities and places of interest. Access is by foot as the area is pedestrian and the car park is located 500 m from the hotel. We will come back, it’s obvious.

its right - its more long and hard to go there when you are by your own car - but they offer paid luggage service and maybe also some kind of local ride help but only half the way - the beauty of this hotel is that it is located at the very end of the village next to the port - seaside !
