Our family of 3 (2 adults + 1 5yo) stayed at the Limoncino apartment. It was a duplex with the bedroom upstairs and a sofa/sofa bed downstairs and a kitchenette. The location was great as it is less than a 10 minute walk from the Manarola train station and no steps to get to the apartment. It is located on a small quiet street right next to the main street. Bottled water and drinks were available in the apartment for a price but it was priced the same as the coop on the main street. This was very convenient especially during COVID times as there was always a queue to get into the coop. Simone and Nicoletta was extremely helpful to answer any questions we had before the trip and also helped us plan our logistics for Cinque Terre. They were easily reachable during our time there and we would definitely stay with Manarolavistamare if we visit again!

We’re so happy we stayed at the Blue Ocean Apartment for our trip to Cinque Terre. The unit is inside the most charming, classic, yellow building, but the apartment was modern and clean, with everything you need and more. It was centrally located on the Main Street, very close to the train station with minimal incline and only one flight of stairs, unlike most other places in Manarola where most buildings are up the hill with many flights of stairs.

Simone was a very accommodating, communicative, and welcoming host. We also enjoyed dinner by the water at the restaurant he works at and all his recommendations.

Manarola was my favorite and most picturesque of the 5 terre in my opinion! I loved staying here as we got to enjoy the town when it was empty in the morning and night without the crowds of tourists during the day.

Photo is a view from the balcony (favorite feature), and another one from outside the building.

Simone, the host very welcomed us at the church, walked us to the apartement helping with the luggage and introduced us with everything. He was always in reach via whatsapp and helped immediately.

Studio Suite Vermentino is a new and modern appartment on the third floor ( with elevator!) in the upper part of Manarola. It has a very big terrace with a little view to the mediterranian sea, facing west.
The bed is big and comfortable, the sofa-bed is ok, the kitchen well-appointed, the bathroom with a good size shower and good water pressure. There is air-con and central heating also, wich we actually needed.
Everything was very clean.
Supermarket, trekking paths, restaurant, harbour, train station all nearby, as it is small village !
Parking was no problem in October but tremendously expensive (80€ for 5 days). There were free parking places but we didn‘t figure that out at night and had no proper information about it.

Spending 5 wonderful days in the 5 Terre with all kind of weather, we felt at home in the „ Vermentino“ Studio.

We only would have wished a bit more sunshine to enjoy the wonderful terrace 🙂.

Simone was the most wonderful host you could have. He was extremely friendly, helpful and his communication with us was impeccable. He sorted out parking for us which was such a relief (highly recommend the use of his private garage if you are driving to the area), and he even looked into vegan options for us at local restaurants :) He and his family live in the property next door which made us feel extremely safe and looked after should anything have gone wrong.

The apartment was incredibly lovely and much better than we had expected (better than the photos showed). It was very clean and well thought out for guests. The air-conditioning was a godsend and the shutters were extremely effective in keeping out the light. Would definitely stay here again and couldn’t recommend this place enough (it is also in the most beautiful village of the 5 in our opinion)!

Make sure you check out the restaurant Nessun Dorma with the most amazing views over the village and where we also recommend their Pesto making class!

We have been coming to Manarola on vacation for 16 years, we love Manarola!! We have stayed at several different places and have nothing bad to say about any of them. This year we stayed at the Blue Ocean apartment, it was beautiful and very well stocked with anything you would need in the kitchen, plenty of towels and a washing machine. It’s located right in the middle of town, close to restaurants and the beautiful marina!! Simone was a wonderful host! We will definitely stay here again!

We were 100% delighted with our choice of Simone and Nicolette’s apartment for our 3 night stay with our 15 year old son. The apartment was perfect and Manarola lovely (we think it was the most charming of the 5 towns). Also Simone could not have been more helpful. One other point : we travelled by car and the private garage was great - very secure and close to the town/ apartment and at a reasonable extra cost. Thank you Simone!

This apartment was spectacular! Very much as shown on listing. The view from terrace is phenomenal! The space is very clean, modern, and tastefully decorated with updated nice bathroom and shower with great water pressure. They had plenty of towels and bedding and they also had a “micro store” in the apartment if you needed to purchase extra water bottles, coffee pods, or wine. A very thoughtful touch.
The host had great communication throughout the whole booking. Simone’s mother, Nicoletta, even quickly responded as we had to get her assistance when a piece of our laundry fell to the terrace below. She very cleverly got some fishing line and a fish hook and retrieved the item quickly.
As mentioned in the other reviews, pack light for the STEEP climb up to the apartment. Manarola is a very beautiful vertical town. The view is worth the extra effort! You will enjoy your stay here!

You're going to love this place. It's in a great location, just off the main drag, so you aren't having to walk too much up stairs and through alleyways. Obviously it doesn't have a seaview, but we weren't hanging out in the room much anyways. If I wanted a seaview, you can just walk 3 minutes and sit on the rocks. The space itself is very fresh and nicely renovated. Bathroom is wonderful, bed is comfortable, and the AC works great. Additionally, Simone was amazing to communicate with. She met us at the train station and walked us to the room and got us all setup and oriented. Then, she was available if we needed but didn't hover. The perfect host, in my opinion. I can't recommend this place more highly. Plus, Manarola is the most beautiful of the 5 towns, so you're bound to enjoy yourself.

The apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located in Manarola. The balcony has an excellent view of the town, hillside vineyards, Ligurian Sea, and the sunset. 5 minute walk to the center of town and less than 10 minute walk to the train. The building has a working lift and the apartment was fully outfitted with good quality cookware, plates, glasses, etc. Simone and Nicolleta were very easy to work with. I would definitely book this place again.

This was our first Cinque Terre visit. Sandro’s place was great! The apartment itself was very modern (more modern than any places we’ve rented in Florida) and very spacious. The kitchen was large by italian standards. The bathroom was spacious, the shower was awesome! The location is perfect - just below where the train station pedestrian tunnel empties into the town, and therefore a short walk to the water. Also there is a small balcony where you can drink and people watch. Sandro met us and walked us threw everything we needed to know. He also has great material to read about Cinque Terre, things to do there and tour hookups. Also you can text him if you need info/help during your stay. Can’t imagine a better place and Host to start your first Cinque Terre experience.

I booked the Silvano Room with Manrolasolemare on AirBnB. They seem to have some of the days you plan to visit free, but if you get in touch with Gualtiero via AirBnB I'm sure he'll do the best he can. I found him a very friendly chap. :-)
