Detailed Reviews
We stayed for three nights in the Perla room. The room is extremely clean and the bed comfortable, the air conditionoing very efficient during a couple of warm days. The building is extremely well situated on the main street, in a quiet area above the congestion of central Manarola. Eraldo and his wife were extremely welcoming, helping us with dinner recommendations and reservations, use of the washing machine and warm, friendly welcome. Manarola is very beautiful and well worth exploring, and makes an excellent base for exploration of the Cinque Terre by train or foot.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in a large double room at Da Paulin. Their rooms are well-located on a quiet section of the main street, a short incline from the train station. Our room was clean and airy. We especially appreciated the A/C and the updated bathroom. Eraldo and Donatella could not have been more welcoming and kind. Eraldo told us that Paulin was the name of his grandfather who had a barrel-making shop at the same location. Donatella gifted us with a jar of lemon preserves to take home.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Acqua Marina apartment which offers spectacular views of both the water and the village. Manarola is quite small, so the location is a short walk from the train station and steps away from all the excellent restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable, fully outfitted with anything you would need, and well-maintained.
Gianluca was a fantastic host, meeting us at the train station and telling us about the village as he led us to the apartment. He even recommended restaurants and made us last-minute reservations. He stayed in contact before and during our stay and ensured we had all of the information we needed about Manarola and the Cinque Terre.

We stayed 3 nights in Manarola. Our family of 5 had the 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. Our host, Gianluca, went above & beyond. We loved listening to his stories about his life in Manarola as a local. He helped us set up a pesto class (near the church), get a taxi to take us to la Spezia, gave us travel tips, and also met us one morning with umbrellas at a cafe (without us asking!) as he knew we got caught in the rain. The apartment was very clean including the kitchen, had great A/C, and the balcony provided great views of the sea. We would stay here again.

+1
We stayed at the DaPaulin Rooms for 2 nights at the end of May. Eraldo greeted us and helped us to our rooms. The hotel was in a wonderful location in Manarola (right on the main street) and easy access to everything in Manarola. The rooms were a nice size, bright and air- conditioned, and very, very clean. Eraldo was so helpful to us, giving us dinner suggestions and tourist suggestions. We loved our stay here and hope to come back again.

We have visited Manarola many times and have stayed at Da Paulin each time, the apartments are first class ,new and very modern and our hosts Eraldo and Donatella are a wonderful couple and anything you need to know about the Cinque Terre, they are always on hand to supply the info. Just an aside, Manarola is the nicest of the villages. Going back next month and staying in a Da Paulin apartment, Can't wait.

Da Paulin was the perfect place to stay in Manarola, Cinque Terre. Manarola is a bit quieter and less intense than some of the other Cinque Terre villages. The apartment was lovely--very clean and with a beautiful view of Manarola. The staff met us at the train station and were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. I highly recommend Da Paulin!

We had a wonderful stay at Da Paulin. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, kind and responsive hosts. The property is small with only a few rooms, right on the main street in Manarola. The street is lively from about 8 am to 9 pm, but quiet during the night. I highly recommend this property.

Manarola is the prettiest place in Cinque Terre. Da Paulin is the perfect apartment to stay at Manarola. Very modern, clean, comfortable. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Gianluca is extremely nice and sincere, met us at the train station and helped us with the luggage, even found the AirPods my kid forgot at the apartment after we left and offered to ship to our home. Thanks Gianluca!

Our Da Paulin, Rossa di Mare apartment was a terrific place to stay in Manarola. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the location in Manarola was good, but the best part was the tiny balcony for 2 with a wonderful view of the ocean and the town. We spent most of our time, and ate several meals on the balcony. As general note about Cinque Terre and most especially Manarola: be prepared for many steep stairs and streets, it’s unavoidable. If we return to Manarola, I hope we can stay at Da Paulin, Rossa di Mare.

Breakfast is not included, but there is a small bar downstairs where you can buy pastries and coffee, as well as several other restaurants in town. We enjoyed the pastries and coffee (cream filled croissant and cappuccino - yum) from the downstairs bar.
We flew into Milan. Most due to non stop availability. Took the train to Genoa and then the Cinque Terra. If you are staying in Manarola you will need to transfer back one station on the local train. If traveling in the summer do it early in the morning as the local trains can become very crowded with day tourists and if you are hauling luggage - well it can be challenging. Hope this helps
