47 Boutique Hotel earns high marks for its sophisticated ambiance, with guests often lauding the elegant rooms complete with terraces, as well as the luxurious rooftop bar and expansive courtyard. Its prime location is a stone's throw from Rome's key attractions, yet it remains a tranquil retreat from the bustling tourist areas. The hotel's rooms are celebrated for their comfort, cleanliness, and contemporary amenities. Guests are also impressed with the hotel's range of amenities, including the air conditioning, sumptuous breakfast, and attentive concierge service. While the hotel is generally considered to offer good value, a few guests debate the cost-effectiveness of the more expensive rooms. Across the board, the service at 47 Boutique Hotel is commended for its staff's warmth, efficiency, and professionalism.

My husband and I planned a trip to Rome ti attend a Bruce Springsteen concert at Circus Maximo in May. I selected the 47 Boutique Hotel because it was close to the venue and saw many good reviews. It is a pleasure to add my own better than good review. The hotel was outstanding. The building itself was centrally located to all sites in Rome. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. But what sets this hotel apart from the rest is the staff. Everyone was attentive and helpful. The front desk was always a pleasant interaction. Stefania Mike and Nico were just wonderful. The whole front desk team was first rate. Morning breakfast was excellent.and the servers were always attentive Our joke is that the shower was by far the best we have ever experienced. Our stay was simply the best !

Beautiful hotel, so clean and modern, great location. Staff were wonderful! We were on our honeymoon and the team arranged for our room to be upgraded and left us a card and bottle of prosecco! Such a wonderful surprise. They helped us to buy bus tickets and advised us on the best places to shop and eat. Hotel room was spacious and clean - black out blinds and thick windows meant you couldn’t hear or see the outside streets which was perfect for us as light sleepers. Breakfast was so refreshing! Mixture of hot and cold food. Including cheeses, meats, tomatoes and fish options. Welcoming for all dietary requirements. Such a fantastic time, will be back for sure when next in the area!

Dear Jo, thank you for the 5 star review regarding your experience with us! We are glad to know that you completely appreciated your stay at 47 Boutique Hotel during your honeymoon in Rome, also thanks to our services. At first, our central location, in the heart of the Eternal City and close to the main attractions that Rome has to offer (Colloseo, Foro Romano etc...). Then, our staff. They will be happy to read your words, considering the attention and passion with which they work everyday in order to let the guests live their "47 experience" in Rome. And our rooms, as you said, are equipped with every comfort: blackout and soundproof blinds, a rich minibar, marble bathroom, Smart TV... And a special view of course! Last but not least, the breakfast: the first and the most important moment of the day... How could we neglect it? For this reason, we created a rich continental buffet with all kind of delights! We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us and we really hope to welcome you next year for your anniversary! Best regards, Elisa P.

My husband and I stayed at 47 for 5 nights in August. The location, room size and service is what earns this location an excellent review. 47 is a nice and clean (not 5 star) hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the ghetto and very close to sites such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Since we were staying for so many nights, we wanted a room that was more spacious than average for Rome. We looked at other hotels that seemed a bit fancier, but none had rooms as large as 47 in the same price range. We also received an upgrade to a room with a balcony which greatly enhanced our stay. When we looked out of our 5th floor room, we saw ancient ruins, trees and flowers.
The service exceeded our expectations as the staff were extremely friendly and responsive.
The air conditioning was excellent, a great feature in the scorching August weather. The bed was also very comfortable. The toiletries are large size that are in the room permanently, something that seems to be more common these days at boutique hotels
While the espresso at breakfast was great, we skipped the food in favor of eateries close by.
While 47 was not the most beautiful and luxurious hotel we've ever stayed in, I would 100% recommend it to friends visiting Rome for all of the other features mentioned above.

Spent 3 wonderful nights here! The hotel was very quite , covid related yes but considering the hotel is on a main section of road it was very very quite. The hotel is modern and we were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite from an exec room. Can’t recommend the room enough! Waking up facing our private wrap around terrace and breakfast outside each day was wonderful. The room was clean bright, great shower and had a very comfy huge bed and lots of great touches like electric shutters , coffee maker and usb charging points for all your electricals. The terrace was massive and filled with olive and lime trees . The location as others have said is superb and we walked everywhere , it was even walking distance to the Vatican and being next to the river we spent a wonderful evening in Trastevere, truly romantic and a must see. It’s literally 5 minutes from Via Venezia and the Veterianno and so close to the main sites like Trevi, 20 minutes and The Colliseum 25 minutes. We really appreciated the roof terrace bar for a drink each night either before we went out or on our return and while it’s more pricey than outside each drink was accompanied by snacks and appertisers. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and you felt they truly cared about the hotel and it’s guests . Thank you Lena for telling us all about the area and to the lovely waiter who brought our breakfast each day with a huge smile . We did lots of research on Rome hotels as it was our first trip away together as a couple and we were so happy we chose 47! Can’t recommend It enough .

We stayed 5 nights with teens and the grandparents over the new year break. The renovated rooms are spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom, Nespresso maker and Bluetooth Marshall speakers. Breakfast was included. The staff were very welcoming especially helpful with the grandparents.

It is relatively accessible but there are three steps up from the street with handrails to navigate.

The rooftop restaurant and bar has amazing views of the city and the location is perfect. 50m from the river, close to the Jewish historic quarter and Trastevere is just across the river too. We walked everywhere easily.

There is a phenomenal new year festival for 24 hrs and the hotel is in the midst of it with a lot of performances that can be viewed from the roof terrace easily. Very fun but very loud as it’s right in front of the hotel. For one day a year it’s worth it!

This was our second stay at 47 after a first stay 3 years ago. This hotel is well situated and great to walk to just about anywhere. The hotel is quiet, and offers a very complete breakfast, which can be enjoyed inside or in the small inner courtyard. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. We stayed on the executive floor both times (a gracious upgrade from the classic room reserved on the hotel website). This time around (#502), we felt that the room could use some freshening up … paint peeling on the inner bathroom door, bathroom mirror worn around corners. No big deal, we still think the hotel offers good value.

We stayed here this past weekend while we got married in Rome and the staff were so so kind to us. Unexpectedly, we were alone and our guests could not join us due to the pandemic. The staff did everything in their power to make us smile and have an enjoyable weekend.

We had a lovely room on the 5th floor, is it a little noisey but that can't be helped. The hotel is located in a busy part of Rome. Once you close the window you can sleep soundly.

We ate in the restaurant and while it is a little bit expensive, it was lovely. We did the tasting menu the night before we got married and it was a great way to spend the evening!!

The manager left a bottle of champagne in our room on our wedding night which was such a lovely surprise to come back to.

Breakfast was served to our room every morning at a time we requested, it was never late and always quite nice.

The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable!

I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were only in Rome for 2 days so I decided to splurge a bit on our hotel, and it was very much worth it. The room was great and very comfortable. The balcony had a cozy table for two and the view was AMAZING - directly overlooking the Temple of Hercules Victor and the Temple of Manly Fortune (I'm not lying about that - look it up), with other great sites looking left or right down this major thoroughfare (though our room was amazingly quiet). The staff was very helpful and friendly. They assisted us with dinner reservations, directions to a COVID testing site (we needed it for our departing flight), and our transportation to the airport. The hotel is in the perfect location for the major sites in the ancient Rome area - we walked to the Colosseum, the Forum, Palantine Hill, Campidoglio, Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, etc. Walking along the Tiber is also a great evening stroll from the hotel. If you're planning on doing the Vatican (we didn't), that's a bit of a haul on foot (40+ minute walk). We booked the hotel's "The Highest" package which included a six course meal at the beautiful rooftop restaurant (47 Circo Rooftop, which I've reviewed separately), which was superb!

Dear PaulSanPietro, thank you for the 5 star review ragarding your stay with us. "The Highest" is definitely a perfect choice to fully enjoy both Rome and our services. The rooms on the 5th floor allow you to wake up in the morning with a wonderful view of the ancient temples and have breakfast on your private terrace in maximum comfort. Our location, then, is perfect for visiting the main places of interest in the city, as you yourself pointed out. And the day ends in the best possible way, a gourmet dinner designed by Chef Antonio Gentile in our panoramic restaurant 47 Circus Roof Garden. Tradition, innovation and quality of ingredients are the focal points of our cuisine and we are happy that you enjoyed all of this. In short, "The Highest" is an experience worth living, we are pleased that you enjoyed it, and for this reason and for other successes received over time we have decided to renew it for the whole of 2022! We hope to welcome you again in the future. Best, Elisa

The Hotel FortySeven in Rome is a modern, environmentally friendly hotel.
The rooms are spacious. Everything centers around being green. They give you an aluminum bottle so you can fill up with water in the lobby and throughout Rome. You need to put your room key into a device that allows you to use the lights. When you leave the room and pull out the key the lights go out. Clever. Staff is friendly. Great breakfast. Walking distance to Roman Forum and Coliseum. My only negative is that there should be more places to eat around the hotel. You have to walk and with the heatwave hitting Rome that is not easy to do. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

This hotel has a convenient location surrounded by glorious Roman history. You have impressive views and are walking distance to the colosseum, the forum, pantheon, etc. You are close to everything, but at the same time pretty far from everything. There are no cafes, shops, restaurants really close by and the hotel sits on a fairly busy street.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet daily and ate in the interior courtyard. I do think they should have hand sanitizers available for before and after serving oneself. We had lunch at the rooftop restaurant and I found it to be too pricey for what we had. Perhaps dinner with evening views would justify the price.

The staff was not friendly or helpful. They did not go out of their way at all to help or greet us. It was a sharp contrast to all the other hotels we stayed in in Italy. We asked several times for dining recommendations, but did not receive much help. We followed one person's limited advice and it ended up being our worst meal of the trip! We never really felt welcome or valued.

The rooms we had were a good configuration for a family of 4, with two separate rooms connected by a shared hallway that was locked off from the main corridor. The rooms were spacious, but did not that clean or well-maintained.

All in all, it was a bit disappointing. I would likely select a different hotel for a return trip to Rome.

Dear Natasha, thank you for sharing your impression regarding your stay with us. We are glad you appreciated the view overlooking the ancient temples of Foro Boario and the buffet breakfast. We would like to make some considerations. The shopping and restaurant areas are not in the main street but they are walking distance from our structure, Ghetto and Trastevere are just 5 minutes away. The sanitizer are in the breakfast room on the shelf, at the entrance and in every common areas. Finally, our staff at the reception has a list of restaurants to recommend based on the preferences expressed by the customer. Best regards, Elisa
