arrived at pinewood , given a room with three beds in a tiny room so had to upgrade to a room with a balcony ,number 404 worth 30 euro for three nights ,the balcony was a lovely place with lovely birds flying about, so everything seemed perfect until i slept on the most aweful bed ever it was a fold up bed with a metal bar in the middle. , the following morning a dreadful man on reception said he couldnt help me so i asked just for an extra duvet so as to try and make it more comfortable but he refused , , after asking to speak to the manager i eventually had another duvet for my uncomfortable bed , the breakfast was plentiful nothing special but no need to go hungry but do not bother with the bacon it was inedible like eating plastic , allin allwe enjoyed the time we spent in rome and the hotel stay was nice but i think it is more like a three star hotel

there is no 4 star hotel, old furniture, poor and tasteless breakfast, dirty carpet on the floor, even if the room is cleaned daily, the room is only partially cleaned "dust and pasticle bottles under the bed". At least the bed sheets, the towels were clean and the staff were friendly.

Old hotel. Room and toilet is small but clean and tidy. Lift is also very small and old style. The hotel is far far from the city centre. The metro and bus stop is about 10mins walk. Reception team was helpful and fast. Small selection of buffet breakfast. Stayed there as part of our tour package.

. If you’re a person who doesn’t care about hotel service and facilities no need to read further. We’ve stay in this hotel for 7 nights . The hotel is located little bit outside center it’s 1kM walk to metro which is fine. Since it says it’s a four star hotel we expected to much but we were disappointed. 1. The Staff aren’t friendly and accommodating except from bar staff.( they will never greet you or they’ll just pass on you ) 2. The Room is small (we got double room with a view, No Bath robe available, no slippers, the tv channels in English are only 5 , the pillows aren’t that thick they’re really slim) Pros;we got nice bed and clean room and nice view from balcony 3. The bathroom is totally not for 4 star hotel (the sink is old and no strainer! The bathtub and shower are old and rusty) Pros; it’s always clean Amenities: shower gel, soap, vanity amenities (cotton buds , cotton, nail file)blower 4. The Breakfast got limited offers of food that I didn’t expect for a 4 star hotel , I feel like I’m in some cheap hotel (The glasses for water and juice are plastic cups) 5. The Room service will cost you 3€ 6. You got empty minibar fridge 7. No complimentary tea or coffee (water you can drink from tap in the toilet which i find little odd) Ps: the tourist tax is 6€ per day, the hotel is located near highway with big park infront, from fiumucino airport to hotel taxi cost 48€ (this price is from government) , 1.50 € for public transportation (get ready to have small amount from 10€ down or you won’t be able to buy tickets from the machine, you can also buy tickets from small stores on the street that sells newspapers they call it tabacchi) My overall verdict 5/10 -won’t recommend

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival at how clean the hotel was. We read the reviews before booking and despite a couple of negative reviews e.g. dated décor and lots of graffiti in the surrounding area, we found the hotel ideally situated. 600 metres from the Metro and and local shops, including a chemists, and 500 metres from Frankie's Ristorante. Ther is a buss stop a few feet from the front of the hotel and the local bus terminus 500 metres away. The staff were so friendly and very helpful in making recommendations for restaurants and directions. Our room was very clean and included a fridge which we found extremely useful for keeping drinks cold. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was so much better than expected. It consisted of three choices of cereal, three yoghurts, selection of fruit juices, cold meats, cheese, salad items, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon (some mornings), selection of bread rolls, toast, Danish pastries, croissants and fruit salad. More than enough to fill yourself up with to set you up for the day.
