Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.

Great hotel, not pricy at all. The staff is very kind and will speak either Italian or English (a rarity in Rome!) and will help you with everything they can - they even once gave me some metal spoons when I asked for some. The only downside is that the hotel is pretty far from

The hotel is nice and clean. An excellent value as the price is very good for what you receive. Rooms are small but of normal size for Rome. Restaurant was actually quite good though not used much by the guests. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rome.

Good location, good service, rooms nice and clean. Staff very helpful. Just make sure if you are using the hotel for your shuttle to the airport that you confirm the cost..., I asked the night receptionist and he said 50 euros and in the morning I asked to book and was told 59

Booked a superior room and I was surprised how small it was. The rooms looks much bigger in the pictures they use to market these rooms, so I was disepointet when I saw it. Decor feels tired, otherwise very clean and helpful staff. Nice outside space.

Yes, it has AC. I like it dry and cool and I had no complaints about it. But I was not there in the summer, so not sure if it is very powerful. There is a bus right outside and if you access a schedule you can get down to center in 15 minutes easy. But you can also walk down the scenic hill to the streetcar which runs often and takes you to the Flaminio metro station at Piazza de Popolo (which you really should visit anyway) to catch a ride to Colosseum area or just keep walking down Corso, which is the main street if you really want to see and explore the beautiful streets of Rome! Alternatively, you can walk to the center of town along the Tiber on nice day, too.
