Value
We are sure that elegance and hospitality are the true luxury, so we’ve thought to the “Trevi Collection”.Next to ancient monuments and palaces of the past, rises this magnificent structure at only 200 metrs from Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Barberini. The modern and refined style gives character to the living environements, the play of lights and colors are its personality.

When we booked this break with Jet2 it was a 4 star hotel, a week before travelling it was reduced to a 3 star. No alteration was made to the cost.
The hotel is ideally placed as very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
We were given a room in the refurbished part of the hotel, travelling as 2 friends we requested a twin room, we were given a small double bed. The bed was unbelievably hard, the room was freezing and we had a small quilt between us.
After the second night of hardly any sleep and feeling all achy we spoke to reception. They then said they would switch on the heating in our room and gave us another quilt and a mattress topper. This sorted the issue. Wish we hadn't gone through two nights without.
Breakfast is very good with a lot of selection. The breakfast room isn't that big and it was very busy. The shower is very hot with both a monsoon and hand held shower head.
Change is towels daily if you want that and a small selection of toiletries and a shower cap is included. There is a mini bar but no tea/coffee or kettle, apparently these are available in the superior rooms. I'm disappointed that Jet2 didn't put us into that given we booked a 4 star. All in all the location made up for the low bits.

We were wary because of other reviews but enjoyed our stay, The room was a little tired but beds were comfortable and there was a fridge, and good sized bathroom with walk-in shower (no issues with water temperature or pressure), toilet, basin, bidet and toiletries. There was plenty to eat/drink at the buffet breakfast.
The staff were all cheerful and helpful. The location was excellent for walking around the central area, close to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain between the Spagna and Barberini Metro stops.

Our first time in Rome and at this hotel which was recommended by a friend. I read some mixed reviews on here prior to staying. It is a very central hotel to walk to all the sights, there are a few restaurants & shops nearby. On arrival at the hotel we were given a warm welcome by the receptionist and a bell boy who took our cases after he had shown us to the lift, he followed after we had gone up to our room. We were on the top floor (5th) in a superior room which I had booked. The room was spacious with double windows and balcony overlooking apartments, it had a very comfortable double bed, ample space for our clothes, a free safe, fridge with minibar ( chargeable on check out), aircon but we didn’t use it, bathroom with large accessible shower cubicle, complimentary toiletries, bidet & plenty of towels. The room was cleaned daily and all towels changed. The lift was for 4 persons but we never waited long for it to come. Breakfast was served on the 5th floor between 7-10.30am, staff were friendly & polite. Breakfast was buffet/self service & there was a good variety of hot/cold drinks & food including fresh pastries, pizza etc. We enjoyed everything we chose. Downstairs near reception was a comfortable seating area, TV, toilets, computer and a small bar for hot/cold drinks ( payable on check out). On checkout the receptionist was again friendly & helpful and because our pre booked transport didn’t turn up she booked us a taxi to the airport which was a fixed price, the bell boy told us when our taxi had arrived and asked the driver to provide us with a receipt so we could be reimbursed. We would definitely stay at this hotel again because it met our needs. Our only complaint was several cleaning staff were noisy chatting loudly at 07.15 on Sunday near our room which was their equipment area but it was a minor inconvenience.

Whilst in a good location the hotel is near a music club and there was loud music playing till almost midnight. For a hotel of this size there is only one very small lift for which you have to wait a long time for it to arrive. Some of the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However, after my wife and I left and I realised I had left a scarf behind (one which holds sentimental value) both my wife and I contacted the hotel several times but did not receive even the courtesy of an acknowledgement. Extremely shabby treatment. I wouldn't recommend this place.

An amazing welcome from the gentleman on reception set the tone for this visit .
The hotel is very modern and comfortable .
We were in room 206 it was clean quiet and the bed was really comfortable, I like a firm bed so suited me well .
There is shutters and blackouts on windows so no noise or light a great nights sleep .
The air con was good not too noisy.
The bathroom is modern shows small signs of wear but acceptable in a busy hotel.
Breakfast is reasonably good nothing spectacular but generally what you expect in a tourist hotel bit of everything.
Close to Spanish steps and shopping .
Two good restaurants nearby one cheap n cheer fullLa botta the other more high end .
I will leave photos of cards highly recommend the one beside hotel Osteria it’s high end and the food and service is good .

If you are into abusing yourself and not sleeping for three days after grueling city trips then this is totally the hotel for you, the cheapest bedding the world has to offer, you sweat your soul out in the non-breathable blanket they have to offer in
Their stuffy rooms that control your air conditioner from the reception and the first night they didn't even agree to turn it on until we screamed, food in the dining room runs out quickly and you stand around looking for something to eat and nothing to.eat. stay away like fire! Not recommended!!!?

My partner booked the hotel for us as a surprise and we were not disappointed. After reading some reviews prior to our stay we were slightly worried however, we couldn’t fault this hotel at all. Check in was seamless and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was small but cozy, with fresh towels, a comfy bed, additional bedding for your own preference and bathroom supplies. Staff were so helpful, brought coffee to our room when ordered, arranged airport transport for us and even helped my partner by decorating our room for a surprise proposal when we returned one evening. Nothing was too much for the staff. We came across two female staff members and about 5 male staff members during the duration of our stay and each and everyone one were friendly - special shout out to king on reception who was wonderful. The Location of the hotel was also wonderful - bars, shops and restaurants on the door step as well as being a small walking distance to all the main attractions. Would we 100% stay again and recommend to everyone.

Avoid this hotel! My husband and I felt uncomfortable and dirty our whole stay due to finding black mold in our showers. 🤮 the rooms also have carpets. We have nothing against carpets.. if it’s in our HOME! But in a hotel with constant exchange of guests I would really think they would at least upgrade the floors.. especially if they can’t get the stains out of the carpets!!
Their bed was so uncomfortable that it left a bruise on my right hip and I am now unable to sleep on that side.
The cherry on top.. we arrived and immediately noticed our refrigerator was not working. We called in a technician and he seemed surprised that we asked for a fridge that actually made our drinks cold?? The hotel stated they would “try to switch out” the fridge or change our room. However they did nothing about it and brushed it off.
Linens and towels.. we understand hotels don’t have the quality of soft and good smelling cleaning products but all towels and linens smelled like they were rinsed in dirty water, dried, and then put back into the rooms.

We stayed here for 3 days and only came back to sleep but still felt very disgusted. Spend that extra € and stay elsewhere!

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and friendly. There was a good selection of quality produce at the breakfast buffet and the hotel was very well situated for exploring Rome. We also found a restaurant not too far away that served traditional Italian fare at reasonable prices (no pictures on the menu!). The safe was broken so was felt a little uncomfortable leaving important things in our room.

So, why only 2/3 stars? We couldn’t sleep.

Unfortunately, our room (409) was right next to the lift. From the bed, all we could hear throughout the night was the hotel’s only clonking and wheezing of the lift as it travelled the four floors. It got worse at 6am when the lift began to continuously operate between the ground and 5th floor - presumably taking produce upstairs ready for the breakfast service. We could than hear trollies being wheeled around overhead. Once that finished, we began hearing the cleaning staff from 7am onwards as the towel and bedding cupboard was again outside our room.

I’m sure a different room would have generated a much more positive review but we won’t risk staying here again.

I had a 3 night stay to enjoy Rome and was very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in Rome. The hotel is very clean throughout, and my room was spacious with everything that I needed. Breakfast was substantial, and suited all tastes. The hotel is quiet, and is situated near to numerous restaurants, and a main supermarket, and within easy walking distance from the sightseeing . I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

Hello ww did a private transfer and it cost us £180 return for two - pre booked prior to leaving UK I assume Taxi would be similar price How much money would be needed depends on how much sightseeing and other activities you are planning We did three nights and did many tourist attractions as well as 48 hours on the sightseeing bus Great way to get to all the main things to see such as the Colosseum, Vatican and Altar of the Fatherland plus so much more Word of warning ensure all valuables are well out of sight especially near Trevi Fountain and Colosseum Do not get distracted in crowds as there are many thefts in Rome which are well documented Enjoy Trevi Collection Hotel is in ideal location so good choice

We didn't have a balcony in the superior room so I assume that not all rooms on the upper floor have them.
