#4 of 226 hotels in Naples
Travellers' Choice
The hotel, housed in a restored noble palace dating back to the end of 1500, reinterprets with fresh design this historical building to offer a unique experience blending antiquity and contemporary use of space. The Hotel has 48 rooms and 8 apartments on 6 floors. It is only a few steps from the most interesting places: the Archaeological Museum, San Severo Chapel, Duomo Cathedral, San Gregorio Armeno, Napoli underground, Santa Chiara complex with its majolica cloister. At the entrance an astonishing court with columns and a fountain with some 18th century busts where the vault rooms of the reception and the breakfast room give onto. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The Hotel has also 2 internet points near the reception. Sometimes the hotel hosts exhibitions and installations by emerging artists.

Stayed here for 4 nights in September 2021 and found it to be an excellent hotel. My hotel (Room 608) was large and very clean. The bathroom was also a good size. I also had a balcony which gave great views of the city and the bay. Although Piazza Bellini is a vey busy and lively spot especially in the evening time, the hotel is very quite and there are 2 security doors (one of them only shuts at 10pm and reopen in the morning time) between the hotel and main street. The hotel staff are very helpful and will organise taxis or even tours to the likes of Pompeii for you if you ask them The location is perfect, the old city center and the main via Toledo road are right beside the hotel. The Archeological museum is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. My only one very small negative was the breakfast. It was adequate but nothing special. If I am ever back in Naples I would stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in a two bed apartment which was excellent and great VFM room 808. It had great high ceilings, separate beds for the kids, a fully equipped kitchen, lovely sitting area, air con , balconies out over the street and really comfortable beds. If being picky the shower pressure was low. Best of all for my 12 year old was the table football! Location is on heart of city and it is quite an area for dining/drinking but noise from street didn’t bother us. The location is a plus as heart of Naples and attractions all pretty much walkable. It felt like an oasis of calm amongst hub bib of city. Really decent apartment. We had breakfast at hotel and this only Ok but no more.

The hotel is spot on in the heart of Napoli. It is in a old and renovated building, room are specious and clean, beds comfortable and there is a nice patio. In 5 min walking you are in via dei tribunali and spaccanapoli and at night the square in front of the hotel is lively. The staff is friendly and can book taxi which are cheaper/correct rate

My husband and I were traveling around Europe till we got to Naples. We hadn't booked at hotel piazza bellini but when we got to naples our hotel didn’t let is check in and leave our bag. Casually, we stumbled upon hotel pizza bellini and asked Roberto if we could leave our bags for a few hours. He was so kind to take care of our bags and he later helped us to book a very affordable tour around the city. Amazing experience. Highly recommended to stay here. Virginia y Leandro.

Located at Piazza Bellini. Good to explore the historic center of Naples. Room was clean and spacious. For the breakfast a slot had to be booked in advance due to the pandemic. This was a bit inconvenient. In normal times it should be fine. Good value for money.

Response from Direzione Hotel Piazza Bellini, Albergatore at Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments
Responded 06 Aug 2021
Dear customer, we thank you for your testimony and for appreciating our hotel and its rooms. Too bad that you have less appreciated the organization of breakfast times since, just as you say, it is a measure that we adopt for the pandemic situation and it is wanted for the greater safety of all of you customers. For this reason, in autumn we will set up a special roof on the courtyard that will allow you to continue having breakfast outdoors We hope to have you back as our guest, see you next time.
