Comfortable, great location in old town near opera house and port. Easy walk to restaurants, public transport, and museums. 10 minute taxi to train station. Large bath room with tub, nice breakfast, and great advice from owner about local attractions. Good security in the building and elevator. Air conditioning or large screened door to outside. The owner catered to breakfast preferences(mine was local bakery sweets).
Patrizia owns and personally operates a special BandB providing guests with very personal attention and kindness. She prepares many breakfast sweets and is a wonderful pastry chef. The room is spacious, very clean and the apartment is secure. The bathroom is down a short hallway and is spacious and beautiful, with a comfortable, large bathtub. High ceilings, large window, and A/C . The building is old, well maintained, and has a good elevator. Location is perfect for visitors who want to just roam by foot or use public transportation which works well in Naples. Patrizia also gives good advice about sightseeing and transportation from the airport or train station.
Location is just walking distance from Castel Nuovo and the Port. We arrive late, after 9pm and the host was waiting. The building entrance itself is hard to find because is no sign to indicate the b&b. The entrance is behind the blocks in a small piazza where you don't want to be alone after 1am. The good thing is that right next building is a small but great restaurant that made fantastic pizza and pasta - best we ate in Napoli. The building where the b&b is located is old and looks like nobody intend to refurbish it. Probably it was a small office building in the '60-'70. The b&b looks newelly renovated, but keeps few old items. Bathroom tops, kitchen have more than you need, bed is ok and is very clean. So, despite the fist impression about the building, if you want to be close to the port and Piazza del Plebiscito this is your best option.…
Naples is an incredibly vibrant city and Patrizia’s home is the perfect basis to explore it. Many landmarks are a short stroll away, including the sea front. Other guests have commented on the amazing breakfast and we can only add that it was everyday a special treat. Most of all, we have been charmed by Patrizia herself and we want to thank her for all the tips (and cake recipes) she shared with us: it was like staying at one of my Italian auntie’s homes, we didn’t want to leave!
The location within Naples is perfect, the building grand, the rooms stylish and clean. Then there is Patrizia. Speaking in Italian or French, she goes out of her way to make sure that guests get the most out of their stay, whether it's within the B&B or visting sites and restaurants. The breakfasts are a delight, nearly all of the food being local, and a large proportion of it made by Patrizia herself.. This is bed and breakfasting at its very best.
