Two thousand years ago, an Ancient Roman residence, as testified by the column dominating the entrance to the hotel. At the start of the 20th century, a Liberty style villa, the chosen refuge of artists, intellectuals and all those looking for an exclusive hideaway. In 2006 a complete restoration and renovation transformed the building into a boutique hotel in which to experience the traditional hospitality of Capri's most elegant villas.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September 2020. The individual, personal and cordial service provided by the receptionist Gianpiero Cerrotta and the prudent, friendly and extremely service-oriented waiter Mr. Peppe, who is very brand promoting for this hotel, should be particularly emphasised. The rooms are furnished to a high standard in a beautiful regional style and the beds are even equipped with eiderdowns, which we greatly appreciated. Also the individual breakfast (here they attach great importance to organic products, which we find very positive) as well as the free shuttle rides with the in-house electric vehicles are to be emphasised.
Two small disadvantages: despite the sustainable orientation of the house, the towels are changed up to twice a day. This is not necessary at all in times of climate change and environmental protection, because nobody changes their towels that often at home as well.
Another small "downer": we had a nice room with a sea view, but unfortunately the main road runs in front of the house, so that you can't sleep with open windows (very important for us!) but the air conditioner has to run also at night.
But otherwise: thank you for your stay, you are on a good way! Keep it up.

This hotel was by far the best hospitality I have ever experienced. We ended up adding a traveler on last minute and they were super courteous in helping us find a larger room in our price range. When we got in on the ferry, the picked us up and drove us to the site which was amazing because we were carrying heavy luggage. When we entered, I got ready to sit at the desk to check in. However, being the great hosts that they are, they ushered us outside and served us white wine and snacks while they sorted our check in. They walked us through all the activities we could do on the island complete with photos. They took care of brining our stuff to our room and made sure we were well taken care of. They handled dinner and beach club reservations. They booked us the best boat ride ever and even packed us to-Go bags of Prosecco and snacks. The fact that they would drive us to the beach and pick us up made us feel like we were staying with friends and family. On top of all that, the food and wine is amazing (order the Gnocchi!). I can’t recommend this place enough. They really delivered on the best service ever. Forever in my heart! Special shout out to Gene Peidro, Pepe and Budica for making our stay amazing!!!

Our visit was truly an experience. Not only is the hotel impeccable, but the staff anticipating your every need was truly remarkable. Peppe in particular went above and beyond to make sure I had the best birthday ever when he noticed the date on my passport. Our dinner at the restaurant was our favorite on the island. Breakfast was fantastic with many options including non-dairy milk options which I had not been able to find previously.

Beyond that, all of the staff did a great job ensuring everyone’s safety. Masks were worn at all times, sanitizer stations readily available and travel bottles offered for our trips to the city and harbour. The drivers were ready to go in minutes when we needed a ride and they picked us up immediately after we called needing a ride.

This is a must for anyone going to Capri and looking for luxury experience.

I stayed here with my partner to celebrate out seven year anniversary. From the very beginning, the hotel made our stay easy and enjoyable. They picked us up from the port with no delay, provided us with welcome drinks and snacks on arrival and upgraded our room at no extra cost. The room was stunning, peaceful and clean.

Although the hotel is a little pricey, I would say that it is fantastic value for money for a number of reasons but particularly because of the shuttle service that takes you to and from the centre of Capri at your request. This operates throughout the day, is incredibly convenient and the driver was an absolute delight.

I've stayed at a fair number of hotels but the breakfast at this hotel was probably in my top three of all time. It was delicious and plentiful - we didn't eat again until dinner because we were so full!

Throughout our entire stay, I felt like the hotel staff tried to take every opportunity to make our time in Capri as special as possible. We were provided with a contact number so that we could message them if we had any questions as we were out and about. One night, at about 10pm we couldn't find a place to have dinner (because the place we initially intended to go to was fully booked), we messaged the hotel and they responded immediately was a fantastic selection of restaurants to go to. It made us feel valued and made everything so much easier for us.

Thank you again - we had the best time!

We want say a Big Thank you to All the Staff ! You made us feel Truly welcome and we can't wait to see you again. You are an Exceptional Team!

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel that is set in Art Nouveau White Villa with leafy Garden. We had Beautifully Decorated room with colourful tiles and jacuzzi on a balcony with stunning view of endless blue sea. Intimate ,Relaxing atmosphere.

Complimentary eco friendly car would take us to the centre which is close enough any way and pick us up when we were ready to go back to hotel. Food is delicious and beautifully served.
I can't say enough of nice things about the staff and hotel itself .

It was a Perfect Stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco for two nights while we stayed on Capri during our honeymoon in September. We decided we wanted to really treat ourselves to a luxury hotel and this place did not disappoint! Marino Peppe and the rest of the staff made sure that we had the absolute best time during our stay here. Marino would often check in with us to make sure every need was attended to and the complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a very kind gesture. The breakfast buffet was delicious and set in a beautiful garden patio behind the hotel. The complimentary limo service also makes it so easy to get to your dinner reservations and daily activities. We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, which was beautiful, extravagant with its ocean view and jetted tub on the balcony. We would absolutely stay here again on our next getaway to Capri!

We cannot thank the staff enough, absolutely perfect. A big shout out to “Peppe Marino”, a true gentleman, Gianpiero Cerrota, the concierge, Mr “Buddi” who always smiled and was perfectly attentive. All of the staff were exceedingly good at their jobs and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, always happy to drive us up to Capri town centre in their eco-friendly electro-cars. Covid restrictions were always observed, and we felt perfectly safe.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Built in 1906 and beautifully restored to the original in its wonderful Art Nouveau style. Attention to every small detail has been observed. The rooms are equipped with the highest quality items and furnishings. Spectacular sea views, a beautiful roof terrace with Jacuzzi, gorgeous rooms, beautiful gardens where breakfast (excellent quality and range and served personally) and dinner, which we can recommend, can be truly enjoyed. It’s also lovely and quiet. Another plus-point is the quick and easy walk to the harbour front for bars and restaurants. It’s also only a couple of minutes walk to the small but wonderfully clean beach, Marina Grande. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Certainly one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. We look forward to our return when possible.

We stayed here from 30 August for 4 nights and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel, the location was perfect - I’m so glad we didn’t pick something in the city centre as it was so busy. But Excelsior was very calm and felt like home, a very intimate and small hotel that allows you to feel valued and everything about their service is bespoke. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is so comfy. Peppe our bartender/waiter/go to man was amazing- he made our trip- he was so thoughtful and just kind. It’s so nice to go to a place where kindness is part of their service.

The breakfast is amazing, their car service is prompt and so useful. Also giannperrieo ( not sure that’s how you spell his name) organised our boat tour and generally anything we needed in our stay. I can’t fault this hotel one bit! Xx

Excelsior Parco is small boutique hotel with only 11 rooms overlooking the bay and Marina Grande on a stunning location.
It was our first time on Capri and we did not know what to expect.
We have stayed in more beautiful hotels and there are certainly more luxurious hotels on Capri but we had an unforgettable holiday with the family.
We had a lovely, typical (not hip or trendy) Italian, room on the 2nd floor with an amazing view and a large balcony with a jacuzzi where we relaxed every night with a glass of wine just before dinner.
The breakfast was one of the best we ever had and all served to the table, no buffet or do it yourself counter, so very relaxed.
They also serve a great coffee to your liking.
It helped that we had amazing weather of course but the main asset of this hotel is the service.
The service is really wonderful and special and all the staff is great, normally you will find this kind of service only in Asia in hotels like the Oberoi or Four Seasons.
As of the first day everybody know you by name and really nothing is too much for the staff.
A special thanks to Peppe our waiter from Napoli and Buudi the small Srilankan driver they really helped to make our stay a memorable one, but actually all the staff is super!!
We will certainly come back.

Thank you so much Excelsior Parco 🙏🏼🙏🏼

PS next year they will add an outdoor pool to the hotel.

We returned to a much loved villa in Sorrento this year and after taking a day trip on Capri in 2019 decided that this year we’d take another day trip but this time stay over ...and my god we were not disappointed!!

On entrance we were met by a lovely lady who sat us down in the beautiful gardens, while Pepe (a credit to this luxurious hotel) introduced himself and brought us complementary bubbles 🥂 .., the lady then explained the island to us in great detail, even recommending a restaurant with panoramic views for the evening which we promptly booked.

On mentioning our recent engagement, reception swiftly upgrading our room to include a terrace hot tub - giving us the choice of two rooms to pick from in the process!!

The hotel comes with a complementary driver, a Sri Lankan gentleman who became another credit to this incredible place, and could be called upon at the drop of a hat during our stay which was an absolute god send when moving around the island.

The fine details and architecture are second to none, the breakfast magnificent, the roof terrace stunning.

My fiancé didn’t want to leave!

Needless to say WE WILL REURN.

Thank you so much for an incredible stay.

11/10

Hi Andy, I suppose the best way is to take a high speed ferry boat from Naples harbor/Molo Beverello to Capri (the alternative ferry companies are NLG or SNAV - 50 minutes, alternatives and schedules found easily from internet). I went first to Ischia and continued from there to Capri. The taxi costed us 20 euros from Naples Airport. It is better to share this fixed price information to the taxi driver to make sure that you are not overcharged. There are plenty of different trip organizers to visit the Pompeii. I usually prefer to do these kind of trips on my own, so unfortunately I cannot give you any exact recommendation about this matter. I would count on the customer reviews on TripAdvisor.... I wish you an enjoyable trip to Bay of Naples, BR, Heli
