The hotel is located in the central Via delle Medaglie d'Oro, 100 meters from the pedestrian area. It has its own garage (for a fee) and offers all the comforts of a 4 star in the rooms. Worth noting is the excellent assistance we received from the reception both for information, advice and the concern to resolve our small inconveniences. Well done.

The location of the Hotel is strategic, 100 meters from the main street of Cosenza, easily accessible from the highway and with private garage.
The staff is very courteous and efficient and the rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast in the standard. A good hotel if you want to take a break in North-South Trips.

We stayed two nights in this recently renovated hotel, very clean, located in a very central position. The dinner was frugal and the breakfast was normal, there is room for improvement in the quality and variety of things. The air conditioning system in the room is slightly noisy.

A quiet and cozy hotel centrally located in Italy’s most beautiful province. It has an older more rustic charm to it while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. We stayed in a large double bed room with ample space. They offer smoking or none smoking rooms which is cool to still see. The staff are very friendly, polite, cultured, and willing to assist. They even recognized my family name as a famous painter in the area also has it which always feels good! The hotel is a very short walk to the main road with a McDonalds, shops, restaurants, and the one bar down the side street that is open past 10pm (very quiet city). The food on the street is mostly traditional Italian so breakfast was impossible to get in the morning (only choice is McDonalds or Italian pastries).

Booked last minute on our road trip. The underground car park was a bonus. The room very spacious, clean and perfect for a good nights sleep. Short walk to town centre and restaurants.

Checking in seamless . Accepted room service so enjoyed prosecco in room before going out to dinner.

Basic no frills hotel that we chose because of close proxmity to the pedestrian mall. Also, it is possible to take a longer walk to old town. Both elevator and shower extremely small and claustrophobic. Complimentary breakfast served. Satisfactory for one night.

I visit my family each year in Cosenza andthe best by far is the Royal Hotel. Very old world, clean and comfortable... Breakfast is not robust and there is a restaurant for those who do not want to eat out..however there are some very good places to eat in the city.

There is a new hotel, Holiday Inn, just opened on the edge of the city that would prpobably be very good. We will be in Cosenza this wed and will be at the Royal for our visit...If anyone has any questions, please ask,,I also am fluent in Italian

Ciao Jacqueline Sammarco

We were in Cosenza for six days and chose to stay at the Royal Hotel - what an excellent choice!

Cosenza is a maze of one way streets and the only hotel with obvious directional signs was 'The Royal Hotel' The entrance is not overwhelming but everything is fine once you are inside. Part of the front entrance is the driveway to the free parking garage - what a bonus!!The location is excellent and only a short walk to the main shopping street which is a pedestrian only outdoor mall with a great variety of nationally known stores and many small interesting specialty shops.

There are many wonderful restaurants close by all recommended to us by the staff.

We especially appreciated the assistance from Massimo and Mario who graciously gave us bags of ice to help with my recenlty replaced knee recovery and answered our many, many questions about the area and its history.

The comfortable room was well looked after by the housekeeping staff and breakfast was simple and adequate and well staffed.

Parking in Cosenza was a nightmare, so the underground secure lot was a relief. It can be tight in there, but we managed.
Took the Junior Suite, it was smallish for a suite but clean and had a good bed. It was nice not to have our luggage under foot.
Less than 5 minutes away from the main shopping street, cafe bars closer than that. Would absolutely stay again.

le stanze come sono?complete di tutto
