Now you all know that sometimes when we check into a hotel we get friendly service from the front desk at check in only to put off by the next shift when you need help. Well this is not the case at this Hotel. I have stayed at much more expensive and higher star ratings and have not had the genuine happiness to actually be of service in answering your questions helping with directions , dinner suggestions etc. I even had one to the staff give me her Gold iPhone protector when I mentioned that my daughter had just purchased the same phone for herself because se realized that I could not make it to that specialty shop myself due to time constrains. Cosenza might not be on everybody's travel wish list but the staff at this hotel are fabulous. By the way spacious rooms, great shower free WIFI.

Cosenza was not for any sightseeing just a stopover on our way to Matera. It doesn't offer high-end hotels so i didn't expect much and was definitely surprised by this efficient, convenient, cosy hotel.

I really like its restaurant, open for both B/F and dinner. It must be a local favourite as well. Staff can speak better English than those working in tourist hotels

The hotel was a gem on our stay on Cosenza. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean, specious and well equipped with a balcony and air condition. Breakfast was good. The hotel is situated near the old town.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 night's in a triple room. Between the 1st and 2nd night the towels were not changed despite putting them on the floor to be changed. Instead they placed back on the hooks. The 3rd person was accommodated on a sofabed instead of a normal bed with a thin mattress that you could feel the steel frame penetrating your back. To add insult to injury, on the last night, the hotel hosted a function on the ground floor. When the function ended around 23:30, the staff started dragging all the tables and chairs from ground floor to the terrace on the 3rd floor using the guests lift amidst the loud noise and shouting by the hotel staff. I was dozing off and needless to say, I was wide awake. At 00:30 I jumped out of bed and went to look for the night receptionist who was not found. I asked the staff to refrain from making all that chaos cause paying guests need to sleep. Not even 1 member of the hotel staff acknowledged my complaint or apologised. The following morning when I complained to the receptionist, he confirmed he knew that this idiotic thing will take place and it was normal for them to do so. Hospitality professionalism at it's best....NOT! never again! Will definitely discourage anyone from staying in this place

Cityhotel. Very good and safe parking place in underground parking. Very clean, safe, good shower, very good wi-fi. Hotel quest briefing on case of emergencies was very good, we felt safe. Hotel's restaurant offers very good Italian pizza. Breakfast was modest. Service in hotel was very friendly.

Stayed here for 8 nights in july.
Great, friendly staff. The hotel is very clean, beddings and towels were changed every day, not necessary, but nice in hot summer in South Italy. It's a two minute walk to the hospital and a ten minute walk to the shopping district. A supermarket can be found opposite the hotel. We had a superior room with balcony, great space in comparison to other italian hotels. The restaurant "La Locanda" was well frequented every evening, the prices were low. Only two little things to mention: the matresses felt very hard for us and the air condition should work also at the hotel floors, not just in the rooms.
Definitely would recommend this hotel. It's the best you'll get in Cosenza for a reasonable price.

We were looking for a stop over point on our way from Rome to Sicily. Cosenza and the Vescovo Rosso were our place of repose. Just three kilometers off the highway, is was clean, the service was good, the location was close walking distance to city center, and the free breakfast was a bonus.

Friendly staff, restaurant attached with delicious local cuisine. This hotel included a tasty breakfast. Overall it was a very good experience and I would stay there again. The front desk was very helpful even though we only spoke a little Italian.
