Comfortable and modern hotel, with great rooms
Spacious bathroom with shower gel, toothbrush kit, shaving kit etc
Great air conditioning
Private and secure Garage parking under the hotel for a fee
Bar and restaurant on site.
Wonderful buffet breakfast.
Very fast laundry service.
2 min walk to the city tram that takes you into town/ beach for 1.05 euro.
Lots of bars and restaurants close by, we found a great Tapas bar called Tasca Dairo about a 7 minute walk away.
You can cancel your daily room cleaning and get money off from bar / restaurant purchases.
Would stay here again.

My family and I stayed in Hotel Luz for one night on New Years eve 2022. We actually live in Castellon but just wanted a quieter night away from the noise of the late night celebrations.
Upon arrival we bumped into the departing Valencia football team where my daughter was fortunate enough to obtain a few selfies with many of the players. The fact that all teams from around Europe stay here when they have a match against Villarreal is an endorsement in itself.
We were greeted at reception by Renata who was very polite, professional and friendly and asked if we could have a quiet room. She informed us that this was no problem and so we checked in.
Our room was much bigger than we expected with a spacious living area with sofa bed, a kitchenette, dining area and good sized smart TV. The bedroom was also very spacious with its own TV also. The bathroom was very big with double sinks and a full size bath with shower.
One great point is that the room was spotlessly clean so credit to the cleaning staff for an excellent job.
As for the quiet room? Well, for all the time we spent in the room we didn't hear a single sound from inside or outside of the hotel. It was absolutely bliss.
We didn't use the dining facilities so are unable to comment on this.
Our stay at Hotel Luz was perfect and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

I'll start with the positives- the proximity to the train station is a huge plus if you are arriving by train. The very best part of the hotel is the restaurant! The food is excellent and innovative while the staff are amazing! It's rare to have hotel food this good. The rooms are very clean and good sized. Now the less than positive: The front desk staff seem indifferent and bored, quite the contrast to the hotels in Valencia we stayed at (Helen Berger, Westin). They could definitely kick it up a notch to make guest feel welcome rather than an inconvenience. The location by the train station is good, but the neighborhood for restaurants isn't the best. My biggest complaint is battling the room thermostat that seemed to always return to a very warm temperature in the night that makes sleeping difficult.

The hotel charges for its car parking and the restaurant does not open until 8pm so if you are a weary traveler, look elsewhere but some hotels don´t open their restaurants until 8.30 so be careful. The room was okay for a junior suite, nothing special but good enough for a 1 night stay. Reception staff very helpful, restaurant was also good, expensive but okay food and open, albeit a little late for a hotel but in this town this is normal.

We have been very comfortable in this hotel. The staff that assisted us is very friendly, all in general. The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom was very large. The bed is large and very comfortable.
We had an executive room with a large window overlooking the street (in front of the train station) that gave a lot of light. Although the views are not very beautiful due to the location of the hotel, for me it deserves a very good rating.

Whenever I go to Castellón for work I stay there. The hotel is very good, super large and comfortable beds, clean and good breakfast. It is right in front of the bus station and there is even a tram stop that will take you to the city center.

Very good hotel. Staff brilliant. Especially the kitchen and waiting staff who delivered room service. Restaurant didn’t open till 8pm nor did room service, but had an adequate meal at 8pm.
Breakfast again very good and delivered promptly.
Room, bed and bathroom a good size and comfortable. Parking garage safe with an elevator to reception.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel is located close to the center and have a good parcking .
I stayed for one month just before the pandemic.
You can reach the downtown by walk in really short time.
The breakfast is really good (sweet and american breakfast...fruit...etc...)and with italian coffe as well.
The room is quite big and clean.
There is also a gym not with so much feetness equipment and very small but at least a good tapis roulant and good elliptical.
At reception are very kind and avaible.
For sure i'll be right back.

Stayed here while we attended the FIB music festival. Perfectly situated for travel via train or bus as both stations are located across the road. The hotel has a very modern feel to it. El Corte de Ingles is just a 4 minute walk from the hotel and there are a number of small supermarkets for the essentials.

Modern hotel close to train station but a bit of a walk to main town centre. Hotel is clean and modern although a bit soulless. No real bar area and the usual basic breakfast not really worth getting up for. Functional and good for business.

Hi
If you come out of the hotel and turn left and then left again there are some lovely shops and restaurants plus the big store el corte inglais, the buses are brilliant and very inexpensive and also can get you from one end of town to the other.
Hi Alice,
There are 6 km between the Hotel and the beach, we have a Tram who goes directly to the beach and a stop just in front of the hotel.
The nearest pool is 1.5km from the hotel.
Best regards
Hotel is not in the centre and we drove into town as too far to walk. It is opposite bus station but it is quiet and we heard no noise and no undesirables hanging around. Not a particularly attractive area but not run down at all. 5 minutes walk from a small shopping centre with El Corte Ingles. Was ideal for us and the hotel itself was excellent. Food just amazing. Totally different choices. Fantastic.
"Ask for a balcony room, however, you will be opposite the bus garage although not very noisy"Read full review
