Downtown hotel. Very correct reception with special mention to Toni who was kind and helpful. Correct room without luxuries. Comfortable and quality mattress and pillows. Well soundproofed. They have paid parking (€15 per day) with certain difficulties. It does not have a bar or restaurant (very correct), using that of a hotel opposite.

We stayed one night on our way to the south of Spain and we were very impressed about this hotel. We booked a Junior Suite and the room was impeccable, good size, modern design and very comfortable. The breakfast is good, has a good choice and variety. The staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel has a parking which is very convenient (15 €/night).

Highly recommended!

Very beautiful hotel and service minded staff! Plenty to choose from in the breakfast buffet.

Spacious rooms with minibar in the room as well as AC and safe at no extra cost.

The hotel is also very centrally located but not too noisy to get out if you come by car.

There is a garage under the hotel, parking cannot be booked in advance. The reception opens the garage when you drive down. I wouldnt recommend a SUV going down this garage since it is very tight between floor 1 and 2.

It is also important to be patient because there can be misunderstandings between cars going into the garage and out of the garage.

The cars that are going out of the garage have a green light 2 floors down when it is ok for them to drive.

The cars that are going down have no light they can look at or the ability to see cars coming up so misunderstandings can happen....especially if you come from different countries. So remember to be humble and it will work out if a situation arises where one car is going into the garage and another car is going out.

I think it's quite rare that it happens but still good to be aware of it.

A good hotel, functional and modern, where the WiFi did not work and they did not give me a solution (the television, on the other hand, received Netflix, YouTube perfectly with a network that carried the room number), the air conditioning is insufficient, the The minibar doesn't get cold enough and, a minor matter because I already knew it, the parking only allows small cars and I had to use a public parking lot 100 meters away (16 euros, affordable for a day but not so much if you have to go in and out).

Use a very clean junior suite, a good size and well equipped. Nespresso coffee maker, minibar, iron, armchairs, good bed with good sheets and pillows, safe, bathrobe, slippers, a large closet but without drawers and a very large Smart TV but placed on one side of the bed

Large terrace with tables, chairs and two very dirty hammocks and a 1.60 m high railing that only allows people of a certain height to glimpse the views

Large bathroom, with jacuzzi bathtub and bidet and good towels and sufficient amenities

Work area limited by the size of the television and coffee maker

They accept dogs for 30 euros per night plus a deposit of 50 euros that they return without checking if the room is in order (curious policy) Do not use the gym or sauna

There is no restaurant or bar open, although they provide service (good restaurant) in another hotel on the same property, across the street

Good buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes, fair variety and good quality and good service

Correct and friendly service, but they did not give me a solution to the WiFi problem (other networks, such as the "room 702" network for the television, worked and the guest network did not work). If it had not been for this issue, which is important, my grade would have been higher.

Superior room, but poorly organized. The bed could be placed differently and make better use of the space. There are no rooms with a shower. The breakfast was abundant but with inferior quality products. Very friendly staff

This hotel was a total disappointment. As part of the Wyndhamm group and Melia I thought as a 4* hotel it would be exactly that. A 4* hotel but it’s just a bed and breakfast hotel. Although they offer Half and Full board this is a smokescreen, we booked half board only to find upon arrival that this hotel does not operate its restaurant only for breakfast. You are shipped across to the 3* hotel apparently its sister company. This 3* is so disorganized that it didn´t even have a proper evening menu only a board shown tapas and a no option set menu on a blackboard shown through the closed door to the restaurant. The food was deplorable as was the breakfast which the TRYP hotel did offer. Poor quality all round and not a 4* hotel, the beds in the junior suite were rock solid so we checked out the very next morning. The only plus about this hotel are the wonderful reception staff and, I suspect without these wonderfully helpful staff this accommodation would be totally empty. How they ever get rated as 4 stars is beyond belief again I only surmise that when an inspector calls they are not aware that the place is only a bed a breakfast joint! Find another hotel to spend your money in. Plus you pay €12 to park your car in their car park.

Dear guest, Thank you for your comment after your recent stay with us. We apologize if you didn't enjoy your stay as it should be. Our bar have a timetable, it's not a 24 hours bar, and it's one of the most well rated restaurants in town. On the other hand, we can say that our beds are very comfortable, another well rated thing by the majority of our guests. We are happy that you found our staff friendly and helpful, with this point we agree with you 100%. Kind regards and safe travels.

Central and convenient hotel to reach.
Stop not planned for us this in Castellon we stop in this Melia for one night.
Not quite up to other Melia we frequent. Structure a little dated.
Courteous and efficient reception but to get to the elevators there are uncomfortable steps to do especially if you have bulky suitcases and not just travel bags.
And no one to help us.
“Normal” rooms. I can't find any other adjectives. Because perhaps there were not particularly positive and attractive notes but also negative ones.
We didn't have breakfast here.
Paid parking not next to the hotel but in a garage a few hundred meters.

An impressive strealine high-tech lobby that leads you into a spacious cosy room with exquisite lighting condition.
Excellent service. Efficient with a smile.
Most appreciated, the place is silent.
Which is rare.
Highly recommended, for both location and service.

A last minute booking made from the car. Easy to find, close to the motorway and good parking for travelers. Friendly and fuss free check in, large bedrooms with wifi and fridge (a coffee making facility would be an added bonus!) and excellent bathroom. Close to the city center and ideal for those who are in transit. Really good value for money, recommended.

The hotel looks very nice from the outside and is in a good location. The first thing you notice when you enter the hotel is that the eating area is right there and smoking is allowed, which is off-putting. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and asked again at the front desk if our room was non-smoking and they said it was.

We entered the room and were hit with a sulfur smell (like rotten eggs). Everything looked clean, so we opened the windows to air the room out. There was an ashtray on the table, which I did not expect to find in a room that is supposedly non-smoking. The hallways of the hotel are huge, the rooms average, but the bed small (full-sized). It looked funny to have such a small bed in the room. The bed was also hard and not comfortable. The bathroom was nice with basic toiletries.

I was extremely sick with bronchitis at this point in the trip. The room hotel guide said a doctor could be called to the hotel. When I inquired at the front desk about this, they said that was only during the week during working hours. First of all, people's illnesses and injuries don't abide by "working hours," secondly, the hotel guide should have stated this rather than saying a doctor could be called.

Although I usually don't care if there is a coffee/tea set in the room, I was very disappointed there was not one here as my throat was very sore and painful.

So, perhaps my illness turned me off to this hotel. There was nothing majorly wrong with it, but I was happy to leave.
