Our 3 day visit to Madrid was brilliant because we stayed at the Hostal Central Palace. A superb location facing the Palacio Real our accommodation was great. Sure, we had an internal room but it was well furnished with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. A bottle of cava was

Instructions for finding the Hostal sent by Alina were excellent. The room exceeded our expectations. The only problem was a broken fridge so our milk went off so no more early morning tea. The staff were as helpful as they could be but could not help with a driver as the taxis

Great location with beautiful room views of the palace. Very clean, super friendly and helpful staff. Large room, small double bed, no common areas. Only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable would be a couple of comfortable reading chairs. The room is certainly

Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room occupied the top floor and overlooked the royal palace. Staff were extremely helpful making recommendations for restaurants. Conveniently located for the metro for ease of getting around town but also for getting to and from the airport.

No need to pre-book the taxi. Plenty of taxis at the airport. Count with around 40 euros. By metro is very easy: take line 8 till Nuevos Ministérios/ change to line 10 direction Puerta Sur and exit in Princípe Pio. At this station take the small train to Opera. Get out, hotel will be in 3 minutes. This journey takes about 35/40 min. Of course if you are a family (around 4 persons) is better the taxi.

Best way to get from Airport to your Hotel?
We used the metro train to get to Opera but it’s bit daunting if not used it before - we also had a couple of changes. It’s do-able and cheap but easier to jump in taxi if you can afford to.

It's all been said by the others. It's a great place to stay, and all of the "disadvantages" (no dining room, meals, breakfasts) are actually advantages because it enables you to explore - it's in a great area, with some super restaurants around, the views are lovely from the balconies, chocolate and churro, tapas, the Opera, it's all there! We'll definitely be going back!

Hi. We stayed there a week or so ago. You can buy a voucher for about €3 for a light breakfast in the very nice restaurant next door - it's only a light breakfast, but it suited us well. Alternatively, you can buy the necessary in the local shops and take to the room, find a cafe locally, or (my favourite!) chocolate & churros in San Gines (hardly a calorie in it 😉). You'll love any of these - we did!

i will be coming to Madrid from Barcelona (most likely via train from Barcelona). At the same time to celebrate wedding anniversary. questions 1. How do we come to your apartment from train station ? Shall we take a taxi or metro ? Is it very far ? 2. Does your hotel has any elevator as we are coming from Asia so we have luggage ? 3. I will be joining a tour for 6 days and meeting point is at Plaza deOriente Parking bay underground 2 ( as per Julia Travel tour agency) , is it near as I cannot miss my tour meeting up point since this is my 1st time to Spain ? 4. I plan to take the hop on hop off bus in Madrid for city tour. Is there any stop near by your hotel for the hop on and hop off tour ? 5. any towels being provided , in the room ? Lily
