Very central location, right in front of Central Market. Room was spacious with a lounge area. Staff were helpful on the phone to book and friendly checkin. Very clean, great water pressure in the shower. BIG NOTE: If driving, park in the Corsini Parking lot, off del Governador González. Only 4.5 Euro for 24 hours. Easy to get the lift and walk to Hotel

We stayed in this hotel after taking advantage of a cheap flight to Reus from the UK, since the flight arrived late in the evening we decided to stay in Tarragona for the first night and then travel to Barcelona next day (E5 by train!)
Reus airport is very close from the town centre and the hotel room was very clean, although a bit dark, staff were friendly and recommended a few bars on the same road, we ate and drank in 5 different superb bars til 2am!
Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice sweet and also savoury choices, and a very friendly waitress.
Then we walked to the train station (only 10min)
Would defenitely go back again!

I stayed herewith my husband and 2 kids. The location is very good, It is basic, which is fine. You're not going to stay in a hotel for your whole holiday though are you? It is very affordable. The restaurant is very good. We enjoyed it very much. It is better than all the other 3* hotels in the area. This hotel will not disappoint you at all! The lobby had a computer which was really helpful. We will definitely be back!!!

Hotel was in a great location, close to the beach, train station and lots of cafes/shops / restaurants. Everything was walkable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - eventhough we speak very limited spanish. Pastries and bottled water were provided each morning and there were tea and coffee facilities in the lobby. The hotel air conditioning was really strong, we never felt too hot overnight and the room was very clean and well presented!

Recently remodeled, very nice!
The hotel is perfectly located and there is a cheap (4.5€ a day) parking on the plaza. The rooms are beautiful and we had a great terrace with nice views. The bed was super comfortable, we slept like babies.
Also the hotel has removed all single use plastic which is great!

The hotel is very central to everything in Tarragona and is clean and of good quality. What really made the stay special was how helpful the employees we met were throughout this. As an example, we had a difficulty connecting to Wifi which the staff resolved quickly for us. The reception staff had great local information and were helpful throughout. I'd recommend staying here

Room Tip: Main square directly outside the hotel is noisy, especially late afternoon and early evening.

Excellent hotel, perfectly situated on the main market square, central to everything, 5 minute walk to the train station. Our room was cleaned every morning. Can't praise Olga in reception highly enough, we love her. Excellent Buffet breakfast served each morning with lots of choices.

I booked the Hotel after reading a review which mentioned the female receptionist as being particularly unhelpful. The Hotel was described as a good price, central and clean.

(This previous report appears not be on Trip Advisor, I must have the wrong review site.)

All the above are true. The first point however was brought home to roost when we had a problem with security.

Arriving early evening, when the market was packing up but the square was still busy, I parked as near as possible to the Hotel for baggage transfer.

A man with a mobile phone to his ear, who had been standing near where I parked, walked into the Hotel past the receptionist and tried to get in the lift with us.

I politely refused to allow this since the lift is the smallest I have ever been in, being a cram for two people with bags.

After putting the luggage in the room I had to park the car. In doing so I met the same man in the entrance to the lift. I paused to monitor him and he immediately took a key out and went in the other direction to our room. I thought he was a resident therefore.

On my return I was horrified to find that in my absence this man had entered our room where my wife scared him off and scared herself too.

This was a pretty traumatic start but trying to convey this to the receptionist was impossible.

She refused to talk any English, pretending that she did not know any, (I found her on the telephone later talking perfectly well. She seemed to be on the telephone most of the time I was there.)

Asking her, in Spanish, if the man I saw was a resident elicited a patronising frown, shrug and a nod.

She only accepted the situation when a Spanish lady came down and complained of a man entering her room too. The receptionist was not interested till then. Maybe she was embarrassed about not doing her job. This just led to a suspicion, but I have no proof, that she was even somehow involved. She made no attempt to call the Police when I asked her to do so (in Spanish) but did so after the second confirmation of a security problem.

The Police arrived but could do no more than make notes as there was nothing stolen or damaged.

At no point did the receptionist make any gesture towards an apology and only moved us to another room when I demanded it, it was not offered.

I got a small apology from the Manager, who was on reception in the morning, and a free breakfast. He did not acknowledge that his receptionist was in any way at fault when I spoke to him.
