We stayed here 9 years ago and had such fond memories we thought we would stay again. We had saved an email with the room number from our previous stay and emailed the hotel to ask if it was free for a 2 night stay. It was, however they asked us if we wanted to see the same room with a different view, to see if we would prefer it. We did. We had a junior suite with a balcony & dual aspect windows. You can watch the sunrise from your bed and fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. The room was very spacious and provided a great base for us over the three days. Parking in €20 a night, which is expensive, however we were pleased to have parking as Sitges was very busy on the night we arrived. The staff are so helpful, the hotel is clean and interesting, with amazing art installations that create conversation. The hotel is at the far end of the town and about a 10 minute walk to the town centre, however the walk of course is good for us, and the views on the walk through the marina, past the church and along the promenade are just wonderful. We hope to come back in another few years.

The story of all the art around the lobby, the corridors and the rooms can be read elsewhere. But it was certainly an unsual experience to be surrounded by so many paintings and sculptures - many of which were imaginative displays of female "curves". But also Greek gods and such. The situation of the hotel is perfect. A wide beach - altbeit with somewhat gritty and pebbly sand - is right across the access road - and dead end - leading to the marine, Aiguadolc. There are several restaurants there along the promenade, and there should be something for all tastes. As to the hotel itself, the staff at the reception speaks good to excellent English and they were generally helpful. Breakfast was good and adequate, but here is the one complaint: It starts only at 08.30 and at 09.00 on Saturdays and Sundays. That is not good enough for a hotel like this. It may be that the Spanish are up late - and eat at 2200 hours but others - "early birds" - might want to make an early start on excursions. There were some days where it was possible to enter already 07.30, but that was "unofficial" and you never knew how it would be. Breakfast must start no later than 08.00 in a good hotel, preferably 07.30. And there is a subsidiary complaint here: There was no water cooker in the room, let alone a coffee machine. That would have been a "must" with breakfast starting so late. Not acceptable to get up at 07.00 and only have juice! But otherwise a very recommendable hotel and environment.

My wife and i have been coming to this hotel for the past few years - it has a great location, nice pool area and the art installations are all first class, making the hotel very unique - BUT..... the rooms are all getting very tired now - we have stayed in the same junior suite for the past 4 years and there has been no re-decoration / investment in the room in that time, the furniture is getting tired, the beige bathroom suite is old and parts are rusty, the lighting is dim with the shower glass screen leaking every time the shower is used - flooding the floor!. The window frames did not fit - so when it was windy (Often) the wind howled through the frame, the extending shade above the balcony was broken and would not wind out - this is a good hotel, but money needs to be spent on repairs and redecoration.

Nice hotel in general. The room was beautiful and the setting is fantastic. Two stars knocked off because they had a party going on when we arrived right outside our room. When I say right outside, I mean literally right outside, in an outdoor garden area. Reggaeton music and a lot of people drinking at a party outside your room isn't exactly my idea of a nice welcome. The second issue was the receptionist during the day. When I asked her about the party, she was rude and arrogant. She even said that we were lucky it wasn't a wedding reception. The reception Estela was very nice and pleasant, as was the blonde-haired receptionist too (I didn't get her name). It was this other one who was rude and arrogant - typically worked during the day. Serious attitude problem for a client-facing role. Breakfast was nice too, by the way. Not sure I would go back because of the aforementioned reasons - probably not, but all in all, a nice enough stay.
