Stayed here for the week first week September with a friend , lovely clean hotel with great food in the restaurant, but what made The holiday also was the lovely staff member Mounir , nothing was too much trouble for him always a smile on his face and his hospitality second to none, went that extra mile to make sure we had a lovely holiday a credit to the hotel this man also Sergio in the restaurant very hard worker and pleasant only downside critique would have liked some entertainment if only for three times a week but overall lovely hotel and staff
We had a good stay at this hotel. The amenities are good. THe breakfast is tasty and good value for money. The room could be improved upon. I would like to highlight that the staff are friendly especially Mounir, who was ever so attentive to our needs and made our stay joyful. Last but not least, the biggest asset of this hotel is the pool, if you are a swimmer and you need to do laps, this place is the best.
Honest review: I have stayed here many many times. Prices have gone up while standards have gone down. 😔 Location 5/10 A good 15/20 min walk into town. But its a nice enough walk. But do keep in mind you are approximately 20 min from your nearest shop/supermarket. 5 min from the nearest beach. 15min from the gay beach. Rooms 6/10. Modern and reasonably clean however on a few occasions lately our room smelled pretty bad. Like it needed a little air through it, but not a big deal. They are however really really small. And if you get a room at the front of the hotel (above the main doors) don't expect much sleep. The pet parrots at the private property opposite will have u awake from early morning 🦜🦜🦜 😳. No blackout blinds! But all rooms do have aircon and a small fridge. Bare in mind the hotel is split into 2 sections (the main hotel area and the hotel area across the street linked by an underground tunnel). The main part of the hotel is more convenient but the rooms are all pretty much the same. Pool/bar 6/10. Nice & modern but very small. And although the property is marketed as "adults only" there are kids around the pool at times. Drinks (even cocktails/wine/bubbly) are served in terrible plastic cups. A few years ago they had fantastic plastic wine glasses. But sadly these were replaced with awful plastic cups. Not good🤢!!! Drinks are a little on the expensive side €€€. They used to have really good background music round the pool and sometimes even a DJ, but I've not seen this lately 😏 (by lately I also mean pre-covid). The jacuzzi is NEVER on!... Like NEVER! I've stayed here several times and I've never seen it switched on or available to use. Staff 7/10 No complaints here. Always friendly and happy to help. Pool staff are particularly good. But bar service can be a little slow as there is usually only one bar person on shift. But they always do their best. Every one appears to be multi lingual (at least Spanish & English). Service 5/10 Very average, but not bad. When I visited a few years ago the pool staff would bring round small complementary tapas. This was a really nice touch, but sadly this hasn't happened in some years now. Summary: It's a pretty average hotel but for what your paying there is now much better in Sitges. I've stayed here at least 7+ times... But sadly I will be looking to other hotels for future bookings. Given the poor location and small rooms it's just no longer value for money. Prices need to come down!! I'd like to be more positive, as in the past this hotel was one of the very best (and best value) the the town. 😏…
I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is the best value hotel in Sitges. Yes, the rooms are a little basic, however, when you factor in the excellent heated swimming pool, which is easily the best of any hotel in Sitges and the breakfast and the high level of service, it's a no brainer. The location is quiet and in an exclusive area of Sitges, within a short walk of the town, the bus and train stations and a wonderful beach, which is less busy than the ones in the centre and has all the facilities you need. They have a party there on Saturday evenings and it's run by one family who know how to look after you. The staff, particularly the bar, restaurant, reception and general managers were super attentive and friendly. If you see a bad review for this hotel, maybe they were just having a bad day. I've been there six times and can't find anything better for the money. I'm going back again next year for sure.…
To put it simply - this is not a 4 star hotel. I would give it 2 stars. All furniture is old and mostly unclean (see photos). The beds are not comfortable. There are two pillows but they are identical so there is no pillow bar actually. You cannot use the terrace for two reasons. First, the neighbor next to the hotel keeps 10 birds in 3 cages in hisbyeard, that produce noise all the time (it starts at 5 AM!) - see photo. Second, the chairs on the terrace are old and dirty - see photo. The bathroom is poorly equiped: no shelves, the sink which needs repairment (see photo). The quality of the shower gel was so bad that we needed to buy our own gels. The cleaning lady does her job poorly. The room is constantly dirty. We found someone elses clothes on top of the closet (they probably belonged to previous guest). The cleaning lady did not notice it before our arrival, nor did she notice it during 16 days of our stay! We left it in the closet, wanting to see if she would notice it. Of course, she didn't! The swimming pool looks nice but we were not able to use it even once during 16 days! There are very few sunbeds around the pool (I would say 10x2 sunbeds at most), so everything is occupied all the time. Last but not least: the staff at the hotel is EXTREMELY unpleasant! When we arrived, we were "greeted" by a male recepcionist who didn't bother to say "welcome", "how was your trip" etc. The same happened with another male recepcionist when we were leaving. He didn't say "how was your stay", "have a nice trip back home" etc. The staff doesn't smile and doesn't greet you at all! The only exception to this is a female recepcionist Bibi. My advice: stay away from this fake four star hotel, unless you hear that the hotel has been entirely renovated and new staff employed.…
