A brilliant hotel. From the moment we walked in we were treated so well. The location is great close to everything. The actual hotel is amazing we had a lovely suite with a balcony, the snacks during the day is a great idea and we also loved the roof terrace as it felt so tranquil after a busy day. We have stayed in Barcelona many times and would definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so lovely
I stayed at Casa Camper in November, 2021 for a stay which started from 4 days and was extended to 7 days. Yes I changed my ticket, my Vacation and plans to go back London just for the experience of Barcelona which was highly enhanced by stay at Casa Camper. I think the title of my review might feel exaggerated to some especially for someone who hasn't stayed at this hotel but in reality they deserve even more compliments. Lets explain breakdown of my flawless stay at this marvel. Right from the booking from Agoda, I felt vibes of care as I was mailed by hotel staff about my preferences and further re-confirmed before my arrival. I reached Barcelona on 20th November. As for location of the hotel, its as central as one can desire but not on main noisy road which I mostly hate. Its minutes walk from Placa De Catalunya and very easy to find. Catalunya and Univeristat Metro Stations are at walking distance. I reached the Hotel at noon. One wonderful aspect of the lobby is its for Hotel Guests. Entrance doors are opened from inside the reception so you always feel secure and serene around the clock during your stay. No wanderers or gawkers allowed. At Entrance, a pretty and charming girl opened the door and welcomed me with a smile. Her name is Miriam and she was very helpful all through my stay. This was one of best introductions for a stay I ever experienced. Miriam checked me in less than 5 minutes and then proceeded with me all along the hotel about amenities and facilities from the lobby to rooftop, then a detailed go-through of my room and my adjacent mini lounge. She also gave me detailed information about the city and the places to visit with best schedule for my stay. I was also given shopping advise according to my choice and discount for Camper shop down the street. I will go through all the details of this wonderful place now because everything at Casa Camper is done with a touch of friendliness and generosity. I was provided with 2 spaces, Main room and Mini-lounge right opposite the room. My room was as comfortable as it can be. Spacious, comfortable and peaceful with view of a hanging garden and adjustable electric curtains. Toilet and Bathroom were separate with a lovely shower. Safe, tv and toiletry facilities all provided. Camper bath slippers were just pure love. Right across my room, separated by corridor was the mini-lounge which provided second tv (first one in main room), a hammock, sofa and a work table. I hardly spend daytime at hotel during my vacations, only returning for sleep but at Casa Camper, you can spend whole day in your room relaxing with low light and views of garden or enjoy the hammock with tv or your phone. 7 nights I slept like a baby. As for the mini-bar, Casa Camper replaces it with another unique and customer friendly idea. The tentempie which is an open buffet available 24/7 for hotel guests is most generous concept I have seen anywhere. From near the lobby, Tentempie provides guests with complimentary access to juices, drinks, sandwiches, cakes, soup, fruit, coffee and everything else around the clock. One can take anything to room, terrace or even outside while leaving. All this totally free. The items at the Tentempie also are changed daily so you have a cafe like experience all through your stay at no cost. This is called customer care in real sense. Stay at the hotel includes breakfast which is provided at the lobby. I found it better than 4 star breakfasts in Europe. Nearly all necessities are available. The staff serving breakfast does it with same care and friendliness you find all over this hotel. 2 sweet ladies treating you like dining at your home. The hotel also has a scenic terrace with summer shower and Honesty bar. View from the terrace is mesmerizing, but real star is honesty bar concept. You can take anything you want, there isn't a soul asking you. Then you can write details of your room, items consumed and leave at the bar. What you declare is your honesty. Lobby stuff is free at the terrace bar but there are some extras like beers, alcoholic drinks which you can take and just leave details to pay at check-out. Customer trust is just flowing at this place. No stay at this place, even a day can be ended before you have visited Dos Billares Bar at the basement. Run by gem of a guy named Archie, this place was the ultimate elixir to relieve me of all stresses and fatigue I endured during Covid Pandemic being a doctor. Archie is not just a great bartender but also a great person to have chat on every topic, a friend for eternal memories. My recommendation for everyone is to visit Dos Billares from day 1. You will find a perfect place to socialize right at your hotel. Casa Camper is also home to the Michelin Star restaurant Dos Palillos run by chef Albert Raurich, Though it looked good, I didn't get a chance to dine because of my other plans. I will try it definitely next time. The Hotel Gym I visited once only, its a nice gym with all basics. It was rainy when I was there and hotel provided with free umbrella to all the guests. I found same benefit al Waldorf Astoria once but they keep query you return the umbrella or not. At Casa Camper, its all about trust on the customer. Now to the pricing, with all facilities provided, any pricing they charge is acceptable for me. They knock it out of the park here too. They provide very affordable rooms rates with no stress on customer if you extend. With all this experience, its like being gifted a stay rather than paying for it. You get 80% less service at fancy name hotels paying more than double the price. So to conclude my review, this was the best stay of my life. Not just one aspect but everything about Casa Camper speaks love and comfort. Be it rooms, food, pricing, service or simple chats. Such was the magic of my stay that I am planning to visit Barcelona soon again and will definitely book no other place than Casa Camper. Something I hardly do. Its an experience to be cherished. I just miss this place so much.…
Myself and 3 friends are just back from a 3 night stay in this absolutely amazing hotel. Perfect location, just a few minutes off La Rambla, 10 minutes walk to the Aerobus airport transfer and a perfect spot to explore all around Barcelona. Rooms were a great size and fit 4 of us comfortably. Very clean and spacious. Staff are so friendly and helful. Very nice selection for breakfast, with a made-to-order cooked breakfast (bacon, pancakes, sausages, eggs) available, as well as cereal, fruit, juice, pastries, cheese, meats, yoghurt etc. When breakfast finishes, the free snack bar becomes available - salads, sandwiches, crisps, wraps, water/soft drinks/juices, sweets, crispts, fruit, - absolutely brilliant. Rooftop terrace a perfect spot to eat lunch. ] Would definitely book this again if ever in Barcelona. Highly recommend.…
I just cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is in a great out of the way location that is close to explore everything in Barcelona. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely huge and had everything you could want or need. The staff was exceptional during our entire stay. The breakfast offered many options including eggs cooked to order, and during each afternoon there were sandwiches, wraps, chips, etc available at no additional charge. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to unwind in the afternoon and there is even an honor bar there if you need a beverage. We would definitely look to stay here again in Barcelona!
Our 3 days in Barcelona were made so much more special because of our stay at Casa Camper. Having read all the positive reviews, I was curious to see if it lived up to all the praise, and it sure did! From the time we checked in to when we left Barcelona, our experience in this hotel was outstanding! The rooms were huge and the hotel itself is located very close to Las Ramblas making it a great location to explore lots of sites by foot. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Special shout out to Miriam who checked us in and was always ready with a smile whenever any help was needed. She also patiently put up with my attempts to practice Spanish and readily answered any and all queries. I will definitely stay here if and when I visit Barcelona again!
