This is really an hotel to avoid. I have been there for 1 night for business trip. They gave me a really noisy room (5th floor) directly on the boulevard... no possiblity to sleep after 5am... because of the noise of the traffic outside... I have asked to change but the hotel

Dear Y93260, We thank you for the time spent in indicating your impression through Tripadvisor. Your comment is very useful for us and helps us to see your perspective and improve in all the indicated aspects. We deeply regret your indication as we usually have guests who are delighted, repeat stay and also recommend us as you can check in this same portal. In reference to any noise from the street, we can confirm that all our rooms have special soundproofing windows, so any Aragon street traffic is practically nil and it is something very important for us in which the maximum investment has been made. Is it possible that you had the window open during the night? We also feel your indications about breakfast, we will work to improve in this aspect and we feel any incidence, in general our groups go to breakfast step by step and it is organized in such a way that no guest should wait. It is never confirmed to a large group the possibility of having breakfast at the same time, this is done in this way so that all our guests can have breakfast comfortably. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and let you know that we would love to welcome you again as we are certain that you could be very comfortable with us. Best regards, Evelyn Mata Assistant manager

Was undecided about this hotel but it turned out to be a beautiful choice. Close to a metro and bus station. My room was large and modern, facing a busy street when I didn’t realise the noise and with a small balcony. The breakfast I think is worth the price charged, excellent

I was first placed into their "superior" room (which was paid upfront for 4 nights, at rate of €440 per night - alongside with two other rooms, for 2 colleagues). The room was #140 in the ground floor (the only room in the entire hotel on the ground floor), literally next to

Dear MM384, We thank you for indicating the experience of your stay through Tripadvisor. I deeply regret that your experience has not been to your liking. It is a pity that you did not wait until your check out to make your comment and impression. Your first night you did not like your room, although it is a superior room and we changed your room once we had a No Show from another client. So when you refer to magic, it does not exist, it is a reality that occurs in absolutely every hotel in the world, I understand that it depends on the experience that everyone has this can be understood or believed to be magic. We do not understand when you refer to carpet in this room, since in this room there is not. You did not like the second room either, so we changed you a third time, always trying to make you feel as good as possible. And it seems that in this last room, which was a JUNIOR SUITE, you have finally been great, we are very happy about this, since this is the main objective of the team. Even so, you ask us to give you back € 1,500, that is, 25% of your entire 3 bedroom reservation. You exceeded your request and also requested it each day of your stay. As a gesture, today at checkout, we have returned the full amount of your first night. But you already anticipate to indicate your impression through Tripadvisor yesterday. The amounts that you indicate with respect to the Mobile World Congress, we confirm that our normal congress rates are the same in all the city, nothing more or less, and that they are the usual rates that there are always in important congresses. All this in addition, that you know that the threats you have made to the hotel staff indicating everything you were going to do through the "media" has been totally out of place, even asking personal questions to hotel professionals. We hope that over time you have more experience and know that the treatment you have received at the hotel has been more than exquisite and that we have always tried to make you feel well despite any inconvenience. A very warm greeting, Evelyn Mata Deputy Director

It is close to Basilica Sagrada Familia. A very stunning cathedral and close to a tour bus. The place is safe and quiet. Me and my partner enjoyed our stay in Barcelona so much as we walked miles around Barcelona. So staying in this hotel at the end of our daily tours was very

The hotel is situated 5mins walk from the el clot station - it then takes 2mins to get to the Gaudí house, a perfect location! Takes about a 15mins walk to The Sagrada Família. over all great location, clean, rooms are good, staff are friendly (apart from one receptionist).

Is there any bus or metro going directly to Park Guell from the hotel? How long it takes?
You have subway near the hotel. That connects to Plaza España from there a lot more options.

For plaza Catalunya take metro line 1 going in the direction of hospital stop, about 4 stops and get off at Catalunya and your right there which is at the top of where las rambla starts. There are stops at the bottom of las rambles but we found this way easiest. We had asked directions from a local and they sent us on a more complicated route which is probably fine for a local but this is more tourist proof as only involves one line. We tended to use the metro for everything except park Guelph, get the bus there instead and ask Alex at reception who will point out exactly where to get it and it drops you straight at it. Travel pass is a great buy, 24euros for 4 days and we used it everywhere including back to the airport. Enjoy holiday!
