Wonderful Wonderful Hotel staff very friendly, quick check in and fabulous room with stunning views. Nothing was too much trouble which made for a fabulous stay in a beautiful city. Situated near the beach and in easy reach of the city centre.
we stayed here for a week. We booked a Club level room. As a loyal Marriott guest we were given a corner room on the 32nd floor which had both a sea view and city view. The room was spacious with 2 double beds. But...More
You definitely get what you pay for here. Service is impeccable. Staff is everywhere and greet you constantly. Beds are really comfy, but like all hotel pillows, too soft and squishy!! Blackout shades really block out the light.
Rooms are spacious as is the bathroom....More

The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs

Although the Renaissance is in a bit better of a location, I would stay at the Hotel Arts. I just stayed there and had a great stay. The area by the beach, "Barceloneta", is really nice and there a ton of restaurants and bars on the marina. A 5-minute taxi, Uber, or Cabify will get you to the real touristy areas for a cheap price.
Unless it's included with your room rate, it's a whopping 40 Euros per person.
While breakfast is great, the price tag is too steep.
You can read my review about it for photos I took from breakfast there.
