While it was clean, QUIET, and comfortable, wifi was out for 2 days. I missed an important meeting. I'll atay at Trafalgar going forward. Location is good but can't risk the wifi going out . All said, I slept well and didn't hear a thing from the craziness of the ramblas
Our hotel room was quaint and tastefully decorated. We booked a room with a view of the ramblas, and could not recommend enough! Lovely little balcony in a great position for people watching. There was no noise from outside once the windows were closed - very impressed. The staff were really friendly and gave us a map of the city where they'd highlighted some restaurants & bars for us to try. This is a lovely boutique hotel and I would love to stay here again.
Lovely boutique hotel located on La Rambla - a short walk to La Boqueria. We had a room with a little balcony, which was small but very comfortable and well appointed. The common areas are smart (restaurant was closed for renovation) and the little roof terrace is excellent. However, the major feature of this hotel is the staff. So nice! From the welcome on the street from the concierge to the lovely staff perched at the central desk. Always quick with a smile, a hola, chat, advice and of course 'wine time' drink. Impressive team.
Great location! La Rambla is the place to be for an active visit! The marketplace is amazing. There are plenty of activities and outdoor cafes. The shops are as great as the cuisine. There's charm for days and it is the true city that doesn't sleep. Grab a scooter and explore this great city. This is a great spot to do that. The staff was kind and accommodating, the roof top deck is perfect and you are right in the heart of the action while being centrally located for all must sees. We truly appreciated the whole team and their patience!
Great location, new and very clean. The staff was very friendly knowledgeable and so very helpful with our questions and made wonderful recommendations. The rooftop terrace was a delight and not to be missed.
This boutique hotel is highly focused on service from the moment you approach the door (right on Las Ramblas). Greeted us with glasses of water. Made great restaurant recommendations. The "Wine O'Clock" happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch, as well. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Although rooms are small, they have what you need. Convenient location--gothic quarters, market, picasso museum, etc. within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
Front desk staff were a pleasure to deal with. Very happy and interactive. Room was extremely comfortable although we couldn’t keep the aircon on all night. A fabulous terrace to have a drink and relax.
Happy hour was a nice touch. Staff super friendly and helpful. The map was useful. As was the app to get a cab. The location was very good and we were able to walk most places such as Sagrada Familia, Picasso museum and waterfront. The 1st restaurant to the left when you come out of the hotel is excellent!
Very friendly and efficient welcome. We loved the boutique styling and quirky touches such as the hair dryer bag and card keys. The hotel location is excellent and for a city centre hotel I thought the room size was acceptable, although my partner would have liked somewhere to store his bag. The free wine at 7pm meant we met up and chatted with other residents which I enjoyed. Our one disappointment was that the restaurant was closed as on our final morning, it would have been more relaxing to have had breakfast in the hotel. As it was, we went out to a bakery and sat on our balcony enjoying a pastry.
I spent 7 days at the Yurbban Ramblas in May 2022. The location on Las Ramblas was great for sight seeing and being able to get around the city. I traveled with my mother and we had what the hotel calls the Family Room which is actually two rooms connected with a small hallway (with its own private door). It was a great set-up for the two of us. One of the rooms they market as a Tiny Room separately, but if you had this room in Paris you'd call it a Normal Size ... its not large, but it isn't tiny either. The rooms were all well appointed and stylish. Bathrooms were modern with rain showers. The photos on their site is exactly what you get. The staff is brilliant. I've stayed at Mandarins, Four Seasons, Oberoi, and Ritz-Carltons around the globe and I'd take this group of young men & women any day. They were friendly, attentive, and always helpful. This is a boutique property and you will be remembered every time you come up the stairs. Gold star! The hotel was refurbishing their restaurant, so we didn't get to try it during our visit. They are also installing a rooftop bar, which will be fantastic I'm sure. Heading to Barcelona and don't want to stay in a large, hectic property? Stay at the Yurbban Ramblas.…
