The Village of Aldeaduero was established to house and provide leisure for the hydroelectric plants workers for mode than 40 years. The site has been renovated to modern day standars and it´s well-know as the premier hospitality and leisure complex in the area. The village has plenty of green areas to enjoy games and activities and fantastic pool for the lovely warms days.

A visit in September to Salamanca and the Duero valley was fantastic. Weaving between Spain and Portugal and sailing on the Duero we saw some amazing scenery. We also saw eagles and buzzards perform graceful aerobatic displays. From the river bank, vineyards cling to the steep slopes on either side of the river. The vineyards mainly produce grapes for port production and their steep, well manicured slopes are remarkable. At times we seemed to be on top of the world and then a short time later were looking up at the heights from the river bank. It is a beautiful, quiet rural area that seems lost in time

I've been here working for a summer camp in the summer of 2013. It's a great place to stay, very relaxing and peaceful. The rooms are pretty good with AC and also the little houses spread along the property offer you plenty of privacy as there is a lot of space between them. Big areas and a pleasant outside area to enjoy the beautiful mountains around. A beautiful place to go if you are looking for quietness.
