Booked this via travel agent to bring my granddaughters for half term. The family room we have is very nice - even though the hotel only provides powder milk for a hot drink. The mattress is a bit harder than I like - so not a disturbed night sleep for me. The buffet evening

Had a great stay at this hotel. We've often seen it on stays to the resort and from the outside it looked tired and 70s looking with pebble-dashed balconies and walls. But what a refurbishment. It is fantastic. The refurbishment should be completed in the next few months.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago, only Bloque B (on the Malaga side rather than Benalmadena) was open as Bloque A is being renovated. You can request a room with afternoon/evening sun when you check-in, or maybe send an email. You will want to stay overlooking the swimming pool, i.e. on the Benalmadena side, not facing Malaga. And to maximise the sunshine, you really want floors 7 - 9 and the room to be away from the lifts (and as close to the suites as possible). One word of warning, that side of the hotel means you will be looking at the renovations and will be aware of any noise, But currently it is a trade between noise and sun or quiet and shade. Re changing to lunch on your last day - not sure what you mean. Half board gets you dinner & the following day's breakfast. So on 14th March you are only entitled to breakfast, which I'd suggest is worth having as it's a buffet so you can fill yourself up! If you are leaving in the afternoon, you can leave your bags at the hotel after you have checked out. That leaves you free to have a final stroll and grab some lunch at a beachside bar. I heartily recommend El Gato Lounge, which is just a short stroll away. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask Keith
