Nice pool area and Good system that you book sunbeds for all day. You can order drinks and food snaks to the sun bed. Love that! The poolarea is great when you have kids. It has many diffrent areas whith diffrent depths. We lived in a two beedroom suite and it was really spacy and lots of places to keep your clothes and Big terasse. There is a kidsclub for an extra fee, (they have many offers that cost extra at this hotel) - The kids club is excellent and if you pay extra they can Come and go from 10 oclock to 19. Love the leaders of of the club! Great work making the kids having there time of there life. Hotell need to improve: Stuff need to speak and understand English better! We stayed for 10 nights and every singel day There was som kind of missunderstanding because of lack of english languish ! In every order there is to many People involved so thats why you like never get exactly what you orderd. As a custumer you feel like you impose when you have to get the order right every time and they have to run back with your order to make it right. BIG minus! We booked halfboard. The breakfast is ok/good. A lot to choose from. But if you Come about 10.15 many things can be empty and they are not Quick to fix that. Anoying when you need to ask for stuff att the buffe. They should have better management for who is in charge of every area at the resturant. So many is working there but they are not alert to se what the customer wants or if something is empty. Still you have a lot to choose from and many kinds of seranno ham etc. Thers a chef who makes fresch omelet and pancakes. We ate the halfbord most of the time for lunch and they have a strange system that you have to count from the meny and chose for a amount of23 Euro for adults and 13 for kids. It makes no scence! You can only loose in this concept. An Entrecote with woked veggies cost 25 Euro and a sallad 17-18 Euro. A mini fruitsallad for 12 E. 5 euro for wine and 3 Euro for water or softdrinks. If you use the halfboard on the evening you have a Nice buffe with many kind of dishes to chose from, deffenently worth the price. Come early because in like 21.30 much is empty and they dont get more so you cant get the same food as the customers who arrive like 20.00. One day both beef, shrimps and guacemole was empty and no more in the kitchen. In The end i would like to say i really love most of the People that work there, they are doing there best even if they missunderstand and give you diffrent info they are always super friendly and have very good behavior to you as a custumer. To make it a 4 or 5 star hotel the management have to give more information to all the employers so everyone knows whats the right information to what the hotell stand for. Do not have to many People involved in one order. And always check twise so the custumer got the right service. Skip the packeges and make it included when you book at the first time. When you book a fancy hotel it should include entrence to the kids club and also entrance to the spa. Also you have to pay extra to get fast/good WiFi. Last day we wanted to have late checkout around 16. Not possible. We asked if we could borrow a empty room just to use shower and keep our bags betwen 12-16. The lady in reception still said not possible. I asked if every room is full booked today and she said yes. I asked again if she is sure every singel room is booked She said yes the hotell is full booked many custumors are coming this day. I then looked at booking.com and hotels.com and ofcourse there where MANY rooms left. Insteed of beeing an 4 star hotel with service she lied to the customers face. You think after you buyed 10 nights in a two bedrooom suite and also buyed hafbord and VIP extra sunbeds and kidsclubb evry day they would help you arrange a shower for the family in private the las day. But no... she told us we could use the toilet in the reception area and in the end we could use the public shower in the Spa. We heard that the hotel is going to change into a 5 star hotel next year but they then have to step up, be more alert and be more service minded. Maybe take a trip to resturang Alma in Estapona, there service is AMAZING. Now we go home and The feeling is good anyway, you will fall in love with the view, pool and lots off peopel and Estepona town will be a place we deffenently Come back to.

The hotel itself has lovely grounds and surroundings. But it looks as if it has not been maintained in a long time. Most of the equipment in the gym were not in functioning order. Staff should receive further training in hospitality. Mockingly unfriendly. Food indescript and overcharged. No nearby amenities within walking distance - need a car for everywhere. You will be asked if you wish to park in the nearly empty car park for 10 Euro a night - there is free car parking on the road. Overall a poor experience for a traveller - not even average.

I have just left the hotel. I was told my dog could come for breakfast as long as we were on the terrace. No problem at all. I went this morning with my son and dog in his dog pram to be told he couldn't be on the terrace and they wouldn't bring food to us anywhere else in the hotel as all staff were needed in the breakfast area. It opens at 8. We were the only people there. Very unhelpful. Do not advertise as dog friendly when your only option is to leave your dog in the room.

What a mistake to make this the last few days of a fabulous holiday. Having rented an amazing villa for our family + 5 days with views in Mijas we thought to spend a few days at a 4 star before going home. When first arriving we were taken on a 10 minute walk (min) to the furthest room from reception overlooking a playground and car park. On complaining we were then given a room with 20 metres of white stones over the restaurant.. we requested a double room with sea view. What we got were two single beds with a mould covered painted, rust covered terrace which was in the shade from 1pm…..awful. Buffet served us uncooked meat ( we demanded our money back) the bar served us half glasses of beer and at ridiculously over the top prices. If you wish to park in their near empty car park you’re expected to pay 10 euros per night. My wife and I visit this area often and can honestly say this hotel Is more like a 2 - 3 star..we won’t be back.

Received a lovely welcome from one of the hotel receptionists . Put us in an upgraded room 1301 , which was very spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. Incredible value for what we paid. Lots of amenities . Pools are immaculate . Lovely gardens. Sun-beds always available. Top marks all round. Would most definitely return.

Just got here. Pod €600 for two nights through booking.con and expected something good. The dinner was mediocre at best. Basement feeling and not really bad, but sort of a cantine feeling. Check-in staff was nice. Then the room. omg. Is this supposed to be a €300/night eSpa hotel? No robes, no slippers, No shampoo. Just towels and soap. We ordered a double bed but found a twin with doubtful bed quality. Then we used the bath. The door handle actually fell off. Easy to see that whoever mounted it should consider a career change. Then the parking. Not the hotels fault, but our someone parked across two slots, of which one was ours. Again not the hotels fault but contributes to one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. I'll follow up.

This is an awkward review as it is in gereral a good hotel. The pro's: Large rooms though a bit dated, good beds, good showers though in the bad. Great buffet breakfast, inside and outdoor seating. 4 large pools though very cold, lots of good sunbeds with parasols, which cannot be moved. Next to the beach, though only a few beds (maybe bcause no high season) and the beach is not really nice. Too much stones instead of sand. 7 minutes by car to the centre of Estepona, taxis in front or only minutes away. Free parking just outside the hotel, 10 euro in the garage, no need to do that. Pool restaurant which comfort food and drinks and a more upscale restaurant inside which apparently has largely the same menu. The cons: they do not play any original music in any ares of the hotel. The entire day you hear classics sung by I dont know who. Terrible. Nude beach next to the hotel. Given the marble floors, you hear ppl walking in the rooms above, so ask for a high level floor. Most terrible wifi is not working except in the main building (and there are many). They admitted they have problems, but seemd not to be able to fix it. We also felt some of the staff not really helpful, though the ones at the pool and the breakfast were great. all n all. 3 stars.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, we previously stayed in 2018 when it was part of the Fuerte chain. The hotel is in need of a little tlc, the room was a little tired but still very clean and spacious. The facilities were very good, our son (6 yrs) loved the choice of pools, football nets, tennis courts and the kids clubs. The activities for children were certainly better this time round. The buffet was of a good standard, maybe not as many choices for dinner as previously, but breakfast had lots of choice. The gloves provided were a god send and the staff were very aware of covid rules. Our fellow Spanish guests not so much, there was no distancing and we had to step back several times as they thought nothing of jumping the queue in front of you. The staff initially can come across as stand offish but they are all lovely and extremely hard working, they start work at 8am and are still there at midnight. I have seen reviews slating the pool bar staff but I can honestly say that they made us all feel very welcome and always made a fuss of our son. Irene, Naomi, Angela and the other ladies and gents who worked tirelessly deserve a special mention for looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble. My criticisms would be that there are not enough staff on site, it took a while to be seated at meal times as tables have to be cleared, cleaned and re-set and there are just not enough staff to do this smoothly. They are running around like headless chickens. There is mention of an al a carte restaurant on the hotel website but I feel this is misleading as we certainly didn’t see anything matching that. There was also a long delay in getting towels for the pool, sometimes having to wait 2.5hrs after the pool opened. Obviously foreign travellers have been few due to covid and a lot of the guests are Spanish on staycation and as such most of the staff are only Spanish speaking, this was not a huge issue but sometimes there were communication difficulties. Overall we had a lovely relaxing family break and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Do not book online as you will not get a refund of anything goes wrong due to COVID restrictions. Paid 540 euros for 4 nights. Couldn't get there and obviously there was no refund so they agreed to give us 3 nights. When we couldn't make the second booking they simply said our booking was now void. Basically stole 540 euros. Don't go would be my advise.
