Just back from this beautiful hotel after a five day stay with my two daughters and year old grandson and it was amazing.

Although it’s a new hotel and Covid restrictions meant it was quiter than it would normally be it’s well worth a visit.

The hotel room we stayed in was a two bedroom suite in the deluxe part of the hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of room and had a lovely spacious bathroom with twin basins, bath and separate shower and toilet The lounge area was extremely spacious and each of the bedrooms had their own balcony with the larger of the two having a extra large sun bed and seating area. The smaller one with swinging chair and seating both with views of the beach and sea.

There was a stacked mini bar and bottled water that was replenished daily.
All the restaurants had plenty of choice and the staff were really friendly and very accommodating for my year old grandsons needs.
All the staff were welcoming and I need to mention the bell boy Raphael Rodriguez who really couldn’t do enough to help us when we arrived and continued throughout our entire stay. The young ladies around the pool area where we were sitting Dimitria and Anna need a mention too for the attentiveness and exceptional service making sure we had everything we needed including the lovely refreshing drinks they served us throughout the day whilst we relaxed and soaked up the sun.

There was lovely breakfasts and lunches served in Frescos and all the staff were welcoming and met our needs even if it wasn’t on the menus. We enjoyed meals in the Asian restaurant Anaya. Olivias which was Spanish and the beach club where the food didn’t disappoint l. I just wish our stay had been longer so as we could have experienced even more of the lovely restaurants they have in the hotel.

My daughter had a facial in the beautiful spa and was very impressed with the treatment leaving her skin feeling rejuvenated.

There were sanitisers and masks throughout the hotel and all the staff wore them throughout the day, evening and whilst serving guests and we felt safe in the environment.

This is an exceptionally well run hotel and having met the front of house manager Dimitri I’m not surprised as she too couldn’t have made our stay more enjoyable. She was very approachable and professional as were all the team and staff.
I will definitely be returning as soon as travelling is made easier.

Thank you Ikos for making our stay a memorable one.

We have just had the most relaxing week here.

We had a superior double room which was a good size. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, with two sinks. The Anne Semonin products were really nice to use - it was great that there was hand sanitiser available for you to use throughout the hotel. The mini bar in the room was stocked well and is included in the price of the stay.

The food is amazing. We tried all of the restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our favourite was Anaya (thai) but could only go to that once as it was fully booked, so recommend you book it twice before you arrive. Fresco (Italian) was delicious for lunch and dinner! The staff know which wine to pair with what and have good recommendations.

The main bar is so nice to have a drink and relax and watch the sunset. The cocktails were delicious and they can make cocktails that aren’t on the menu.

You can hire bikes during the day which we would recommend. They have three types of bikes - would suggest mountain bikes if you cycle along the sea front towards Estepona. There are great views.

All of the pools are lovely to be around but not all are heated. We loved being in the adult pool as it was quiet, but the nicest one is the pool nearest to the beach. You can pretty much always find a sun bed and have as many towels as you want!

The staff are so attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Hara (beach club), Anna Maria (adult pool), Maria/Mariza/Andrea (main bar), Pavlos (Anaya) and Eli (central pool) for being so lovely to us during our stay.

Basically, if you want to go on holiday where all you have to think about is what drink to have and what type of food you fancy eating that day then we definitely recommend you go here! It’s a relaxing holiday.

The only thing that isn’t that great is the beach - the sun beds on the beach are nice and the view is amazing but the seafront is very rocky and it’s very very hard to get into the sea unless you have sea shoes so we didn’t bother. Apparently there are sea shoes you can use that the hotel give out.

Having stayed in previous years at the other Ikos properties in Greece we were unsure if the Ikos concept would be as successful in Spain. We shouldn’t have worried!
Ikos Andalusia is a beautiful resort. The hotel rooms are finished to a fantastic standard with large bathrooms incorporating double washbasins and separate bath and shower. The many public areas are decorated in a calming contemporary way and a quiet place can always be found.

The restaurants are just as fantastic as the other Ikos resorts with similar menus. Our favourites were Ouzo and Provence for their beautiful locations overlooking the beach. We enjoyed Flavours at lunch time, especially the views from the outside adults area where we were looked after amazingly by Darko.

It was wonderful to meet Athanasia again, who remembered us from Greece. Her expertise and energy is amazing. Every night she would appear at whichever restaurant we had a reservation at and recommend a delicious wine. If you get the opportunity make sure you attend one of her wine tasting events as they are knowledgeable and great fun. She is a great asset to Ikos.

We enjoyed after dinner cocktails in the main bar where Julio looked after us. Every night he would mix us a special cocktail. Again his energy is fantastic.

We also really enjoyed the fitness classes on offer. Jose is a great trainer with an in-depth knowledge.

Most days we relaxed by the scented pool. Stefanos looked after us, anticipating any thing we required and having fantastic enthusiasm.

We had the most amazing holiday and in uncertain covid times felt extremely safe and relaxed at Ikos Andalusia. We missed Michael Lomitashvili who has looked after us in previous years but Dimitra Spanou ensured we had an amazing stay and looked after us incredibly.

Thankyou, again, Ikos for the best family times and memories.

We booked for 8 nights (1 bedroom deluxe sea suite) and it did not disappoint. This was our mini-moon having just got married a few days before and it made for a perfect break without having to think about anything!

We always book direct with Ikos so had the direct transfer from Malaga airport which was so easy with their large stand as soon as you come through arrivals. Took about 40 minutes to get to Ikos. Perfect friendly greeting with Dionisis (Dennis) introducing himself as our deluxe day-to-day contact who was friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for us. Our room wasn't quite ready so he took us to one of the restaurants for lunch (Fresco with a DJ on) and then made sure everything we needed throughout the holiday was sorted within minutes! He is a real professional with exceptional customer service skills. He found us daily whether by the pool or in a restaurant just to check everything was ok. Which of course it was, as Ikos is brilliant.

We did the wine tasting with Anathansia who remembered us from Dassia! She is a real credit (like all the staff at Ikos) to the hotel and group. Her knowledge of wine is superb and she made the tasting fun, engaging and insightful. She then went out of her way to select wines for us for the rest of the holiday so when we got to our evening restaurant she was there with wines for us. Incredible service...we couldn't believe it.

We visited the spa a few times which is beautiful and the manager there whose name I can't remember was superb and went out of her way to help me select treatments. The actual treatments were lovely too.

The food and drink everywhere across the entire hotel was great. The service from pool drinks to restaurants was amazing. All staff whether it was the garden team or housekeeping were so polite, friendly and clearly happy.

Housekeeping of our room was great and the drinks people topped us up with extra water which Dionisis organised for us as well as special pillows which made for a perfect sleep.

Our favourite restaurants were Provence and Olivia but honestly they are all so good.

Having visited Dassia, Aria and Oceania we would say this one is quite different in terms of layout as has a smaller footprint but the benefits of this are less walking to get from a to b!

Loads of extras if you want such as the Tesla hire, free buses to various places and the dine out options.

A perfect 8 night stay which we would highly recommend.

Ikos Andalusia is a five star luxury all inclusive resort, however with a difference. The leadership, under Timolean Antonakis is exceptional and it filters down all levels of the organisation through to the all of the staff in the restaurants, staff at the pool, and the cleaners of the rooms. Timos does daily tours and has an eye on everywhere and everything. Everyone goes out of their way to make this the best holiday experience ever for every guest.

One of our children has severe allergies and nothing was too much trouble to make sure he had an amazing experience and a special thanks for to Executive Chefs’ Apostolos Kokkinidis and Giorgious Dimitriadis who created amazing recipes despite not being able to use eggs, dairy, nuts, gluten, or sesame! This is not an easy task but nothing was too much trouble for them and they are also amazing guys. Also a special thanks to Maria Sarafi who bent backwards to ensure our son was catered for no matter which of the amazing a la carte restaurants we dined at. Ikos is not just a five star resort but incomparable to any other place we have stayed at in Spain.

Aesthetically pleasing architecture and most rooms appear to have nice views.
Standard rooms are small by five star standards. No space to conceal luggage as mentioned by Star 91, whose review is spot on.
I also think the restaurants could be less similar in what they offer. Also breakfast with the exception of Flavours, which can be cooked to order, can be cold and so timing needs improvement. After ordering breakfast at an a la carte restaurant, be aware there are extras which come on top of your order so it’s best to ask. We ended up with two large fruit platters but knew for the next time!
My favourite wine was on offer, which I won’t mention by name so it’s available on my next visit but suffice to say the drinks are excellent and be sure to go to the beach bar as it’s amazing as are the staff. I don’t think children should be allowed in the bar but they seemed to be a few in their pyjamas unfortunately, cute though they are!
There is always somewhere to sit by the pools and the pool attendants are very attentive. No need to worry if like me you don’t get to the pool before 11am, we never had a problem finding a nice sun lounger, that was such a nice surprise.
There is entertainment and there’s a daily leaflet at reception telling you what’s on. On the back of your key card is the QR code for the resort map so you can orientate yourself. The menus in the restaurant are all QR coded so you can look at menus on your mobile phones, however you can still ask for a menu. At the self service Flavours restaurant you are given a plastic glove to serve your food with and there are masks and sanitiser stations all over the resort.
For an all inclusive what stood out for me was the extras such as eating out at two outside restaurants, one in Estepona and one within walking distance as well as the chance to use an Ikos branded Mini for the day.
Amazingly babies, toddlers and all children are well catered for, with food appropriate to age and of good quality and there are pools and tasteful play areas. There’s even an ice cream parlour.
When you arrive you will be given a meal plan for breakfast and dinner so you can only choose where you want to eat at lunch. It’s probably due to the pandemic but it is a pity as I like to decide for myself. However if there’s a restaurant you don’t like, they will try and accommodate you.
All in all we loved our stay at Ikos Andalusia and hope to return one day as it was so nice to be free to travel at last and this resort was such a treat.

We spent 14 nights here at the height of the UK school holidays. It is a truly fabulous place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The whole experience is one of putting the customer first, from cleaning your glasses as you lay by the pool/beach or putting your towel out on your sunbed. You really can’t lift a finger. The food, quite simply is wonderful. All the restaurants are amazing, for me, Breakfast at Ouzo could not be beaten. Even the buffet is something to behold (and I am not a buffet fan). My only gripe was the lack of hanging and storage space in our room. We had a triple pool view. The room itself was very big with lots of floor space (so much so it accommodated a 5 foot clothing rail no problem) - however the rail in the wardrobe measured 45 cm, for 3 of us, for 14 nights. then there were 3 shelves (there were actually 5 but one had the safe on and one had a tray of glasses, which I removed for an extra )As I’ve said, the hotel did provide us with a rail, and have really taken on board my feedback, however you need to be aware if you are booking this level of room that there is only limited storage. To the Hotels credit, they moved us to a Junior Suite for the last 4 nights, which had all the wardrobe space you need. However when you are pricing up visiting, you find that the Junior suites are around £2.5k more than the standard rooms - a big jump for a bigger wardrobe!!!
Would I visit again? - in a heartbeat. The staff, the location, the amenities, the food, the drinks, the Tesla, it all adds up to 2 weeks of luxury for a hard working mum……. If you can, go.

The hotel had only been open a few weeks in July and you could tell that some things were not yet 100% in tune. However, this was by far made up for by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.

There was a problem with our room (Junior Suite), which was solved by a generous upgrade to the Deluxe category. Many thanks to Eirini and Tasos from the management.

As I already knew it from the IKOS Aria, the staff is very friendly and helpful, no request is too much, they go the extra mile to make the customer happy.

Our (new) room was great, immaculately clean and the ladies from the cleaning service always cheerful and accommodating.

The food is pure pleasure, there is no other way to describe it. The same appetizer (cod tartare) was prepared differently in each of the restaurants - that's what I call variety!

The spa is also top-notch, special thanks go to Vassia (reception) and Stella and Nicoletta. The latter two pampered me with two wonderful massages, while Vassia went out of her way to get me a second appointment. My recommendation, book spa treatments early!
Angela from the deluxe area should also be mentioned by name, she is a real treasure.

The sunglasses cleaning service on the beach was another treat, certainly not every hotel provides such service!

Unfortunately, the Internet connection is not very stable, but this does not lead to a point deduction - it helps to decelerate. Also the fact that the sea is not really suitable for children due to the proximity of the Strait of Gibraltar and the prevailing wind conditions and currents should perhaps be mentioned. However, again only as a note and not as a shortcoming. On the other hand it is a lot of fun to watch the kite surfers on a windy day.

Wearing a face mask inside the buildings was highly recommended for all guests, but not mandatory. Staff members always wore face masks, even outside. Keeping a safe distance to other guests is always possible, especially on the beach, there were almost four meters between the deck chairs. Since we ate almost exclusively in the outside area of the A la carte restaurants (reservation required), contact with other guests was also minimized during meals.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, I am proud to be a member of the IKOS family!

This place is definitely worth the hype. I stayed with my teenage daughter for 5 days for a bit of R&R, from the minute we walked through the doors to the minute we walked out we were so well looked after. Before we had even checked in, we were asked if we were hungry and got taken to one of the restaurants. Whilst this is an all inclusive hotel, the restaurants are of a very high standard and I would have happily chosen them if they were outside the resort. This is a true inclusive, soft drinks, wine, cocktails are all included, as well the mini bar whatever you use is restocked the next day. The resort is huge, they have 6 or 7 pools and it never feels busy. (It may be more!) Every type of guest is accommodated. The grounds are amazing. This hotel is definitely for those looking for a resort which goes the extra mile. They have something different for everyone in terms of entertainment, the evening entertainment is brilliant, and they have a daily shuttle bus to explore the centre of Malaga (all included). They have thought of everything here, and I mean everything, including a heated drawer for your coffee cups, the curtesy rooms when you check out are all individual rooms (no sharing) and top marks when we checked out, we were advised that (our taxi was at 15:30) we are still guests of the resort and could still have lunch and drinks, which in most places once you have checked out that’s that. This place is not cheap, but I’m a believer in you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. A big shout out to Gigi, Jerlyn on reception, the staff at the adults only pool, the staff at all the restaurants and the housekeeping, I couldn’t fault anything. Your service is second to none and we will be returning.

We had the most fantastic stay at this resort in September 2022. It was our first time at an Ikos resort (we had been recommended by a young couple who had visited a few of the other resorts and raved about them). From the moment we arrived until we left the customer service was brilliant. A special mention must go the Dennis (Dyonnisis) one of the managers for his absolutely charming and friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble (especially when locating my husband's AirPods which he thought he had lost on the resort!) and his memory recall was superb. The staff in general were excellent and a few stood out particularly. We definitely felt very looked after the whole duration of our stay. We loved the concept of Ikos and the restaurants were all outstanding, a favourite probably being Anaya the Asian restaurant but to be fair we tried as many as we could in the seven days of our stay. Pre-booking is definitely recommended which we had done on the advice of our friends. Breakfast choices are great and don't be put off by the buffet which is probably the best one we have ever seen (we didn't in fact use it enough). We in fact visited the Adults Only restaurant most days which was a la carte service and very good./peaceful. The room we had was a Deluxe Junior Suite with a sea view - really lovely and perfect for us two, with a huge bathroom and fabulous shower. The Deluxe version gave us access to the Deluxe Pool area which was great and the service was probably slightly better than the non deluxe pool that we visited another day (although that was still superb). The Deluxe option also gave us a 'Dinner by the Sea' option one night with views over the sea and a slightly smaller number of covers so felt a bit exclusive. The pool area was great with very comfy sunbeds and as mentioned, great drinks/snacks service with "Sangria time", Sprtiz Time" etc throughout the day. The beach area was very well maintained the sand is a little darker than we imagined and we would have visited more but it was quite windy when we stayed so the pool was a better option. There are walks along the promenade if desired and also a free Tesla experience for a day if you wish! (we didn't as we wanted a completely relaxing break but would try next time). We used the Spa as we had two complimentary massages included in our Deluxe package and it was amazing. I also had a facial and it was top quality with lovely therapists. The spa itself looked incredible but we didn't get around to using any of the facilities (next time!). All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we are doing to visit either this resort or one of the other Ikos resorts again this year.
