Nice and cosy family ran hotel. The breakfast Buffet was ample and satisfied us in it‘s variety. The hotel is centrally located and provides walking access to many of the sights Weimar is famous for... The Roms were clean and the staff very friendly...
Lovely hotel on a great street in a wonderful small town. We had the "worst" room in the hotel -- first floor (or 2nd floor to those from the USA) overlooking the street, but when we closed the window, it was quiet and we could not hear the people at the bar down the street. The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere in the old city. There is parking at the hotel (reserve in advance), and the breakfast was excellent. You need GPS to find the place and find your way out of town again. The staff was friendly and most spoke good English. Has the feel of a friendly Inn. I would definitely stay here again.
We were in Weimar for a sightseeing and stayed two nights at this hotel. The room was ok, but without a refrigerator. And the towels had the character of a board and not of a towel. But the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was ok, not overwhelming, and we enjoyed our stay there.
Good value hotel with reasonable sized bedrooms and well equipped shower rooms. Quite quiet. No air conditioning. Breakfast rather basic and unimaginative Well placed to explore old Weimar. We stayed a couple of days, which is sufficient to get a feel for Weimar. Receptionist friendly and English is spoken. Long established and family owned.
Central, pretty nice, if nothing fancy. Has parking (12 eur/day or so), which one should really reserve beforehand. The only thing that just is so annoying is the internet access. You have to check in all the time, since the system chucks you out after a few minutes. It's unnecessary and annoying. I would not recommend the hotel because of that reason
