Super important to set expectations with a budget hotel. Apple very much in the budget class.

The check in was easy and friendly. Always staff available, 24 hours.

Our room was small. Like super small and one of us had to climb over the other to get out of bed.

Clean and tidy.

The noise was fine up to about 6 when the U-bahn starts and then at 7 the city really fires up. If you're a light sleeper might challenge you.

The area isn't the best part of town. Again, budget. Night wasn't feeling totally comfortable wandering around the area.

Breakfast was OK for 8 euros. Lots of cafes around if you don't want to take the hotel breakfast.

Super access to the city. Bus and U bahn right on your doorstep.

Seen reviews complaining about the wifi. Was really good for us. Seperate router on each floor.

If your budget is tight and you want a place to lay your head down after you explore the city all day it's for sure a more than adequate place to stay.

This hotel is fine for a short stay. It is definitely budget but you get what you pay for. The receptionist was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Housekeeping were excellent. The neighborhood is very uncomfortable and personally as two young women we did feel rather unsafe especially walking past the park. Not the hotels fault but I definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re a solo female traveler.

The hotels itself and the service is great. Clean rooms, helpful staff, good location, delicious breakfast ... The only problem are the rooms. When I say small, I mean really really small. We stayed in standard double room and there was hardly any room left beside the bed. And the bathroom was so small we couldn't both fit in. I can't imagine how a heavy built person would. But on the other hand we just needed the room to sleep in so it didn't bother us that much. Evereything else was almost perfect. The U-bahn station is right outside, so is the bus station. There are many shops, restaurants and bars around but at the same time it is a quiet neighbourhood in the night so you can get a good sleep. Would definitely recomend it but be prepared for small rooms.

The Apple City Hotel was everything I could have asked for in Berlin. It was very well-kept and clean, in the entire hotel and in the rooms. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. There's a great little courtyard to relax in, and Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. They also have great service--everyone at the front desk was always helpful with our accommodation needs and questions about Berlin. We got to check in a little early, and we also got to leave our luggage at the hotel on our last day while we did some more sight seeing--for free! And, during my stay, the receptionist even gave me an extra Wi-Fi password so I could have it on my phone and computer. The breakfast was also amazing--great variety of eggs, meat, cheese, bread, pancakes, cereal. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Berlin!

The location of this hotel is also very convenient: a 2 minute walk from the bus stop that will lead you right into the city, near Brandenburg Gate. (The bus "TXL") There's also a pharmacy and other restaurants/shops right next to the hotel, as well as an underground station.

Though it isn't a "5-star hotel," I still would give it an excellent rating!

The staff is very unfriendly and looking unprofessional. Their parking is always full and parking at the street is almost impossible!

The curtains are bad. There is continuous noise from the street due to a 24/7 shop next to the hotel.

The street at night feels unsafe.

Worst hotel ever.

The shower floods easily and the water flows into your room. No rack to hang towels. The bathroom sink is way too close to the toilet seat.

I was attracted by this hotel because of the price and location, only 1 minute walk to the nearest underground station, Turmstraße.

Check in was ok, took a little longer than usual but perhaps because we booked via booking.com

Unfortunately, my car did not fit in the alleyway to the car park, but luckily there was free street parking outside.

I had requested a double room at the point of booking, but received a twin room - not the end of the world as just pushed the beds together.

Breakfast was excellent, a good selection of bread, cold meats, cheese, pastries, yoghurts and drinks.

Overall, quite a good budget stay!

Hostel type accommodation in a converted office block. Rooms basic, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Large ensure shower room. Breakfast - a nice range and plenty of it. Perfect for sightseers on a budget !

I've been at the hotel for a business trip and I found it really good. Rooms are quite small but well designed and comfortable. Good beakfast with various choices. The hotel crew is helpful and polite. The place is well served by public transport.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Apple hotel staff for a pleasant stay: I quickly checked in and got the keys as soon as arrived, my room stayed clean and fresh all three days, I got plenty of fresh towels every morning, same as my sheets been changed every day. The only bad thing I have to admit is the size of the bathroom, it's so tiny and even being skinny I was struggling to take a shower.
Hotel has a very good location. You have 3 direct buses: to Tiegel, to the Central Station and Alexanderplatz. S-bah is just in front of the hotel as well. Perfect for people who came to Berlin for sightseeing as from this location you can easily and quickly get to the all famous places. I had no problem to find a food as there are few restaurants around and a plenty of small coffee shops with German pastry. You can ask for a breakfast in a hotel for 8 euros a day.
Room was small as well but I had a cosy double bed, TV and a hairdryer. I would say typical city hotel.
Might come back if I will go to Berlin again.

Stayed here for one night in transit to Tegel airport. The hotel is right beside the bus route from HBf to Tegel and also right beside a U-Bahn station so ideal location. Room was nice and clean, breakfast buffet was excellent. Will definitely stay again.
