Stayed here for three nights. Nice little hotel with friendly staff.
Room was big and beds were comfortable. Bathroom had a spacious shower. Rooms also had a safety box.
Only down side is that there is no lift.
Location was ok, 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station.
Breakfast was basic: rolls, jam, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, muesli, juice, coffee and tea.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families with young children.

This might be the only hotel in Wedding area, its simple and basic hotel with very large room, typical group and family hotel room. The area is quite nice and silent. The room is clean and the bathroom also equipped with nice hot shower. Some room also without shower inside the room but in the hall ways just like backpackers hotel. The breakfast is nice with small buffet Berliner bread, jam, eggs, sort of cheese, Müsli and Joghurt. When you book room without breakfast then you have to add 5€. The location is very close from Seestraße subway and if you like Turkish breakfast, there are some great breakfast place a long the Müllerstraße, just 3 minute walk from the Hotels. The staff is quiet friendly and happy to help you.

Located within a reasonable walk from the U underground. In what looks like a Turkish area. Steps by name, steps by nature - there is no lift. Noise was a problem for me since the room faced on to the court yard which is an enclosed space and so the noise is trapped. If you are bothered by loaud party types this could be an issue if you are unable to move room. For many this is not an issue but be aware. Also there is noise from the constant pounding of feet ont eh stairs. Dissapointingly there is no TV in the room which is a first for me travelling around many budget hotels in much poorer countries that always do have one. Also the Wifi signal ini 320, 3rd floor, was terrible. Not too noticable for simple internet operation but falls apart immediatley when trying any type of streaming (to replace the missing TV entertainment). Make sure you have a wi-fi signal analyser app on your gadget in order to find the one sweet spot for just above -60dB (on the very corner of the desk on the window side close to the wall sockets, just enough for some streaming with occasional buffering). On the whole though clean, comfortable, good shower and as you are probably finding out the price for a room with your own bathroom is very competative and good. Very easy getting to the sights from the area. Also there is a Netto and Aldi two streets away on the ring road for cheap provisions (Netto much better stocked).

Room was horrible; mould on walls and ceilings. Beds were about 2 inches thick, and was even asked to strip the bed sheets on departure. Bathroom was falling apart; the shower hose was broken and sprayed water everywhere, door handles of the shower doors were falling off. Doorbell was also hanging off the wall, with wires hanging loose. Staff accused us of damaging hotel furniture and 'throwing chocolate' across the room. until they realised that it had been there for weeks and hesitantly apologised, they were very patronising when it came to explaining how the hotel (hostel) worked. Food was disgusting.. cheap beef and just horrible looking and similarly, the woman serving the food was really rude and arrogant towards our group. And again, blaming us for their failures. I understand quality comes with price, but this was just a horrible hotel.

It's the worst hotel I have been to in my travelling life. The picture on internent is quite the opposite of what you get. I booked twin bed room to share bathroom with one other room. The room lay out was horrible one bed up the room and the other bed just by the foot of the first one in a very narrow room like a camp. We cannot face each other to chat. I refused the room was given four bedded room like a hostel. The toilet smells so bad and the other room doesn't flush toilet so whenever you open the door to the hall way everything stinks. No air freshner in the hotel. The worst is there is no mirror In my room when I dress up I have to the reception hall to make up. It's not a cheap hotel but just close to the venue of the event we came for. Will never enter there again.

over 70 party kids in there, no breakfast and no elevator. Very poor service. Not recommended !!! Stay away from this. Cheap, but terrible. Invest a little more and get a better location in Berlin. The area (Berlin-Wedding) is also not the best especially at nights.

Super place. No frills and very basic. Not even a TV (but good WiFi) in our room.
Room was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Room was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms.
Staff was really kind and friendly. Very helpful.
Area is calm and quiet.
Cozy beer garden outside in the back and the inside bar was nice too.
Breakfast in the morning was great with cereals, breads, yogurts, jams, coffee, tea, the works!
Really glad to have stayed here as it was a most comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Myself and some friends stayed her for the New Year in 2012. It was very clean and the rooms very spacious. The bathroom was shared with 2 other rooms but it was also very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bar downstairs done nice food and nice beer and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located 2 min walk from the tram-stop and about 10 min walk from Seestrasse U-Bahn station. It was also very reasonably priced for the time of year (£80pp for three nights). I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the STEPS for one night in late December 2011. We liked the place and the atmosphere. Definitely a good choice, if you would like to wake up in the morning, a bit away from the hectic Berlin center.
The STEPS deserves a lot of business in the future!

We chosen it because we had to make a transfer at Berlin TXL airport and had short overnight stay nearby. It was nit easy to find a proper hotel around Berlin TXL airport and took us a quite while to find this hotel. It was a hostel, but was not the problem. The problem was the wall was so shaky that every time other rooms opened or closed the door our door was shaky. It kept waking us up in the evening. However, the old gentleman in the front desk that evening was very nice and helpful.
