The location of the hotel is really good. It is easily accessible by bus, if coming from the central train station (Hauptbahnhof). The proximity to the metro line (U-Bahn) does also largely assist in reaching all parts of Berlin in an easy and efficient way.
The hotel, although a little oldfashioned in its style and overall impression, is a good establishment, even for a much longer stay than just a quick sleep-over. The rooms are really big and comfortably equipped. I had the cheaper room (with the bath inside the room and the sink) and it fully satisfied my expectations and needs. A big plus, especially when the temperature is high, is a small fridge in every(?) room.
When it comes to eating, there are several restaurants nearby. I do not know of any foodstore but maybe I simply did not notice.
Given the standard and the prices, this hotel seems a good choice for a stay in the recently strangely overpriced Berlin.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in terms of overall experience. Love the history of the hotel; the simple and old time feel of the building. Reminded me of the European movies I used to watch as a child. The one person elevator with a manual door and that you can see the cables---priceless.
All the front desk staffs are superb (I dealt with four of them), they were so patient in answering my questions about sightseeing, restaurant recommendation and how subway works. Prior to my arrival, emails were answered within one hour, no delay whatsoever.
The neighbourhood is a bit mixed (hotel front door is locked at night), but very safe regardless. I walked solo on the street at 11pm several times, no trouble at all, even when there were guys drinking on the sidewalks.
Breakfast buffet choices were very decent and eye pleasing, well worth the price.
First time in Berlin, presently surprised how friendly people are in this big city. Will sure come back!

I spent few nights in this hotel. Really good location, good bedrooms, quiet area, good staff and close to the subway station, buses and tram.
Thank you for everything, if in Berlin I will be back for sure.
Highly recommended and good prices.

We stayed at the Graf Puckler last week and feel it was good value for money 312 euros for four nights including breakfast.

The hotel is a five minute (if that) walk from the nearest U-Bahn station Reinickendonrferstrasse with just one change at Freidrichstrasse to get there from Schonefeld airport. We experienced no problems seeing all of the main tourist sites despite the hotel not being slap bang in Central Berlin.

Whilst the decor was most certainly stuck in a previous era and not up to the Hilton's standard it only proved to be of amusement to us and did not detract from the great value deal we had obtained.

The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and the gentleman who checked us in was very knowledgable about all the tourist activities and had taken the time to mark his favourites on a city map for us.

We stayed in room 118 which was spacious, clean and with a decent bathroom with shower. The room's best feature would be its balcony which looked out over the hotel's breakfast courtyard and the gardens of neighbouring residential homes.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. The choice was neverending for cold meats, cheese, savoury and sweet spreads, choices of cereal and lovely fresh rolls.

If like us you had an evening flight they are more than happy to keep your luggage locked away whilst you go out looking for one last Berliner Pilsner! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

As we got the hotel for a very low rate (52 Euro for a double-room) there is nothing to complain about it (especially compared to our other option a double-room in a hostel which would have been 10 Euro more). People are nice. Our room was really big. It is a 1 min. walk to the next tube station, and a 3 minute ride to find yourself right in the middle of Berlin. Some minor things did not work as intended, but that is something i don't really care about in a city-vacation, where the hotel is just a place to sleep. We didn't have breakfast, as this would have been 8 Euro per person more, and you can get great breakfast in Berlin for 16 Euro elsewhere. Overall, for the hotel was a budget and perfect for our needs.

I stayed in this hotel in October 2007, in a single room (with a shower and no toilet). The hotel is very old, and the carpet has not been changed for at least a decade. The toilets were outside of the room, and were clean. Most of the rooms have toilets, but ask before you make a booking. It is in good location - Wedding, a few U-Bahn stops from Friedrich Strasse and Unter den Linden, the breakfast was adequate. Though it seems to me 45 euros for a single room with no toilet it is overpriced.

Fairly close to the centre of Berlin. Hotel was built / converted in the 1960s and no substancial changes have been made since then. Furniture old, TV basic. Nice to have shower in room, but no toilet. Strangley unhappy middle aged receptionist.

I booked one night at Hotel Graf Pückler because it was the cheapest hotel room available for my weekend trip to Berlin. It is located in the district of Wedding which itself doesn't offer a lot, but it's only a 2-minute walk from the subway station "Reinickendorfer Str." from where you can reach all major sights within ~20 minutes.

The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and answered all my questions. The room was small but clean and had old furniture and wallpaper from the 70s with a small CRT tv (didn't think I would ever see one of those again). The WiFi connection was great and guests could park their car in the backyard for only 2,50 €. The corridor was dark and had an unpleasant look and smell.

The breakfast was satisfactory (regarding the price) with fresh bakery products, different spreads, fruits and cornflakes. Unfortunately they only had orange juice, coffee and black tea to offer. For a small fee you could also make yourself a sandwich to go which I found convenient.

To me it was comparable to sleeping in a single room of a youth hostel. The only drawbacks were that the decoration is quite out-dated and the hotel itself does not have a "high-class appearance". The price-performance ratio was alright and overall I was satisfied with my stay at Hotel Graf Pückler.

We stayed in the hotel for a long weekend and we were a little bit afraid in the beginning about location after reading a few comments. However, we decided to give it a try and we found it perfect. Just five minutes walk to a train station and a couple of stations to be in the center of the city. So not problem a lot.

Rooms are good in general, silent and the breakfast is great. Also a very cheap parking just in the hotel. We'll definitely stay in the hotel if we go back to Berlin.

This is a decent little budget hotel in a quiet area of the city. The area itself was famous as 'red wedding' during the 1930s and the whole place is still quite working class and very friendly with easy access to the city centre. The corner bars around here were especially memorable.
