This stylish new hotel stand out with its unique garden gnome image which resembles the local region with the surrounding allotments. It is perfect for those who want to escape their everyday life and get some quiet time. But for those who want to experience Berlin this hotel is ideal too, due to its proximity to the city centre and the fairground. At the end of the day guests can let the evening come to an end in the hotel own bar.

The location of the niu Dwarf is central to public transport and roads but there not many amenities in the vicinity. The hotel is new and clean. A plus is the drink voucher instead of room cleaning. At the reception, you need to fill out paper forms and it takes a while to get a bill. For a modern hotel, this could be all done digitally and more rapidly. Good value for money.

Located next to S-Bahn station,2min. walk. With a little luck you can find a parking spot around, otherwise use the Hotel's underground parking which is locked and easy to access, exit and you will not destroy your wheels.Ok it's not for free but worth using it.
Hotel is fresh and very nice, rooms are nicely arranged.
Will book again.
Didn't have breakfast,can't tell.

as a location, it was close to the place where my seminar took place. The staff is very professional, nice and available to find a solution to all my requests. Copious and varied breakfast, also on the last day they prepared a packed breakfast for me as I left the hotel very early. Thank you for a very pleasant stay and I will come back again!

I arrived at 1am and the door was closed so I rang the door bell but was ignored until one of the guests realised I was outside and let me in. A clearly annoyed receptionist checked me in and when I asked about internet access said they have none. Their whole system was down so no guest WiFi. My phone was broken so I asked to use a phone to let my family know I arrived safely and he told me there is none at the entire hotel and proceeded to tell me about all his problems because he had to do things manually. Became rude and dismissive. It’s a shame because the room was quite nice and the bed comfortable. The next day staff was nicer but also rather unbothered about guest experience. Internet stayed down the morning of the next day as well. I stayed 3 nights, and for me the staff attitude spoilt the experience.

The try to be quirky and modern. Interior playful. Sadly this means that room has no proper cabinets, rather something from a salvage yard for metalscrap. The rooms are very, very compact. You can barely move around the bed without taking the scrap-art cloakthing with you. Bathroom also compact and clean. For you out there with a more exhibionistic lifestyle the room I had featured a floor to ceiling full wall window towards a graveyard. When heading to breakfast go as early as possible, after 15min it is in shambles and there is nothing sensible left. And this all for a great price of some 400€ per night. Yes during exhibition (nothing to do with the graveyard)
The best thing with the place was the comment of the taxi-driver: Aaah this place, here used to be a brothel 😂😂

A nice hotel in an OK location at a decent price.
Service was friendly, room was comfortable, with USB power outlets and bluetooth speaker connection.
However, there was not free high-speed internet connection. In fact, I was unable to connect at all. When I enquired the first time, they indicated that it was my fault (for not logging via the pop-up box... there was no pop-up box). When I asked if there was a URL I could use to get to the login box. He said there was not.
In the morning, still no internet. This time they said that there was an issue, but that every time the hotel is fully booked, the internet cannot cope.
So, please don't say that there's free high-speed internet if you know that it breaks when you have guests staying!

The weekend rate I got for this hotel was a steal really! Yes, rooms are compact and there isn't an awful lot of storage, but more than at Motel One or Moxy which I'd put into the same league. But the place was brandnew, bed super comfy, bathroom spotlessly clean and I just loved the bluetooth speaker in the mirror, so I had my favorite music in the shower - which had decent water pressure btw.

Location was great, too, even though the neighborhood as such isn't all that inviting. But the hotel is right next to S-Bahn station Schöneberg, a short hop from Südkreuz, so one gets around easily.

Be aware, though, that you are nowhere near hip bars, cafes or restaurants. This is not cool Berlin, this is the outskirts of Schöneberg. The gastro scene is made of Döner Kebap joints and smokers bars.

it is certainly a design hotel but in my opinion over expenses
rooms are small and have this typical German bed covers ...
you cannot turn off all the lights with a switch
on the positive side, they have toys in the room, bluetooth speakers and good showers

Recommended, but checkout until 12 was a problem. Shortly before 11 you couldn't get into your room. You had to get someone to unlock it. This happened to several people. It gives you a bad feeling at first. Otherwise a nice, simple hotel that is beautifully designed. Mattress was much too hard, my wife liked it. The S1 is a few meters away, so it's well connected.
