We stayed here in March and booked 3 separate rooms for my family. Although I’m gold Accor status, we booked through BA holidays so didn’t expect any benefits. We did however get late check out on all the rooms which we were extremely grateful for. The rooms itself were to a high standard, and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel is probably not in what I could class a great location as it seemed a little out from some of the bars and restaurants and tourists sites, but there doesn’t appear to be an exact centre. Having said all that, for families (especially ones who want to visit the zoo), you could argue it is a great location. The pool area was really nice in the hotel, and it had a very interesting sauna and steam room (if you are from the uk and are not used to that type of thing). The restaurant was also nice, and the food served in there, for breakfast and dinner were plentiful and tasty. All in all, couldn’t fault this hotel and would definitely stay again.…
We stayed in April for a mini break of five nights before our main honeymoon later this year. As I know Berlin well, we chose to go on a room-only basis and go out a lot so cannot comment on the food though we did go to the bar a couple of times. The wellness area is extremely clean with a nice variety of activities (steam, sauna, swim, gym). It’s also good as there is a private loft for guests only so no walking through reception in your towel! Free WiFi available and a premier, paid service if you need but we found the regular one fine. Spotless rooms of a good size and a huge bed. Also very polite staff and no issues with a couple of queries we had. All in all a very cool hotel in a brilliant location.
If you want a luxury hotel in a great location, this is it. Our room on the 8th floor, room 835, amazing views of the park and the zoo, short walk from the S9 Ubahn which takes you straight to the airport and other tourist attractions, room was perfect, bathroom Bigelow amenities, luxury robes, coffee making facilities and super fast internet, the spa and swimming pool was beautiful, highly recommend, could have stayed longer. The staff were lovely and if you ask, they will help you especially concierge, who were super helpful.
I was supposed to stay in the Pullman in 2020 for a concert but Covid-19 hit. The first issue was I was not allowed cancel, no refund even though the entire world had shut down...they didn't even budge. So I rescheduled for the following year, but still Covid-19 was here so could not travel. I rescheduled again for May this year and I didn't even receive a reminder of my stay, I forgot I had rescheduled and no one even bothered to tell me. They just took the money out of my account. That is how I learned when the booking was, checking my bank balance. I am lucky enough to be travelling to Berlin at the end of the Summer but not only will I not stay at this thieving hotel, i will actively avoid it and all associated hotels.
Reception and housekeeping services were perfect: efficient and friendly. The location is good for commuting, shopping and for leisure walks in Tiergarten park. The the swimming pool is big enough for a relaxing morning swim. The room was soundproof and had good facilities for work as well as relaxing.
I’ve been to this hotel with my British friend for some fun and relaxing time in Berlin and we both were very pleased with the accommodation. The staff at the hotel appeared to be very friendly and helpful. So when we asked for a vase for flowers and another blanket for my friend it was no problem at all and done in a few minutes. The hotel is located in the western part of Berlin near Kuhdamm, a main Berlin shopping street with lots of shops and restaurants and it was easy to get anywhere in Berlin by public transport. The hotel room (junior suite) turned out to be very spacious and comfortable and we had some nice time there to relax from all these shopping and sightseeing we did the whole day. The two bathrooms with bathtub and shower were very clean and well maintained so everything worked perfectly, including the air condition on the first hot days of the year. In the evening we spent a wonderful time at the hotel bar and restaurant with tasty food and drinks. There were even nice working spaces in the hotel lobby my friend could use for her business tasks early in the morning. She liked the hotel so much that we already made another booking for the Christmas markets in November. If there is something to mention which wasn’t perfect at all it was breakfast. The room was a bit small and breakfast was up to standard but nothing special. They weren‘t prepared for gluten-free breakfast items and fresh orange juice. Same was with fresh ginger tea my British friend loves so much. But all in all we would definitely recommend the Pullmann as a great choice to stay in Berlin.…
We loved our stay here. We were able to pay extra for an early check in and they had a very cute crib for our 6 montt old baby. The spa+area is excellent, the bed was SUPER comfortable, and the shower was also great. Would stay here again! The only downside is perhaps not having a tram station closer (though there is a bus!)
Great hotel with friendly staff, comfy and clean room and great facilities. We spent three nights there and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and specious with views to the zoo. The facilities were amazing with access to a nice and equipped gym, large swimming pool, sauna and spa. The hotel was always smelling of a nice perfume which makes it even more enjoyable.
We stayed at the Pullman over Easter. It was our first time in Berlin and the location of the hotel was ideal for us, in a tranquil spot opposite the beautiful Tiergarten but with great transport links and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We found all staff to be very helpful and Sheila on Reception gave us a smooth and friendly check-in. We loved our room and a special thanks to Customer Relations/Reservations for helping with our ‘special requests’. Cleanliness was very good and tea/coffee and water replenished daily. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice and set us up for our busy days exploring this great city.
Thanks again for this wonderful stay at Pullman All was perfect as always since 2008 : my "home" in Berlin Very central next to everything and on the same way so quiet! Morning run in the Tiergarten, a quick swim in the pool before the generous breakfast buffet : how can you start at day better? Dinner in the restaurant with inventive cooking makes also the perfect end of the day!
