Lovely stay with the family. One of the best hotel rooms I have experienced taking the price into account. Clean rooms and good space in the rooms, nice bathroom, good kitchen and nice cold fridge. Is located very close to shopping, supermarket and restaurants. Definitely a place I will come again. Were here 4 nights, with two teenage children, and we had two hotel rooms next to each other.
I was a bit sceptical of apartment hotels but this was excellent. The standard room was very spacious with a work desk, dining table and sofa! The location is superb and less than 1 minute walk from Hackescher Market and train station. I even had a view of the TV tower from my room. Due to covid, breakfast was also offered in my room at no additional cost. Detailed description was given in my room of all areas that are disinfected. Excellent hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
All was very good, The rooms are spacious and comfortable, professional and courteous service and the location is the best . 124 characters (200 minimum) Reviews must be at least 200 characters. 124 it's not enough?
We travel to Berline 1-2 times per year. This was our first stay at Adina and we were very impressed and will be back. The first thing to really get our attention was the size of the room. It was so much more spacious than we were expecting! Wow. The beds were comfortable, with soft bedding and two pillows per person already there. Windows open fairly far (more than in many tall buildings) to allow fresh air to enter. And the air con worked very well in the recent heat wave. The kitchenette was super clean and very usuable. It was right by the front door with a big area behind the work area that was left open, so no tripping over people while cooking. It contained a good sized fridge (that stayed really cold), 2 burner stove stop, microwave, sink and dishwasher. Dish tabs and dish soap as well as a kitchen towel were próvided. There's a good selection of pans and pots, bowls, etc as well as a wine bottle opener, various glasses, plates, etc. The bathroom was pretty averagge, but nothing wrong at all. The walk in shower was decent sized (lookedl ike the area was origianly designed for a basic tub size-wise) and had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The sofa was comfortable. The dining table was bigger than I expected and comfortable for two to dine at family style (we had a studio) or play board games, etc. There is plenty of workspace there as well as at the large desk to spread out a computer and lots of files and papers, etc. The TV was a good size and worked well. Wifi was fast and reliable even when streaming on making video calls. We did have to sign in daily, but that was easy and fast with no passwords required. The location is great, very near the station, lots of shopping and dining options, etc. There is a small Rewe on teh same block, only about a 3 minute walk away which was great for picking up drinks and snacks. Finally the staff were always friendly and professional. We will be back.…
The hotel is in a great location for Berlin and the hotel apartment option works well. We had a couple of issues. The first being parking: Upon arrival we were told that unfortunately Adina had not kept parking spaces. This was despite our reservation and confirmation by phone. We arrived at 6 pm so we were not late. The second being that one of the rooms did not have a sofa bed but a spare bed had been put into the room. The bed was of poor quality with a mattress so soft that you can feel the wood in it if you weigh more than 20 kilos. In addition, the spare bed means that you cannot sit around the dining table as it takes up the space. We asked about it as it was not what we could see in the pictures and were told - sorry unfortunately this is how it is is in some of the rooms. No other beds or options were available at the hotel - despite our booking of 8 nights. The bed was practically unusuable and we ended up asking for an extra matress and put the mattresses on the floor each nights. As a final comment, Adina had not opened the fitness rooms on the basis that fewer people can be in the room due to corona. Adina informed about it the day before arrival but not upon booking. There were in July no restrictions (other than to the numbers of people in the room) regarding fitness in Berlin and our other hotels kept fitness rooms open. The Spa was also closed but this is maybe more understandable. …
