Stayed here having booked tickets to see P!nk at the Olympiastadion. An easy walk from the recommended car park and we were met by the wonderful reception staff who quickly poured us a glass of delicious white wine and let us know we had been lucky enough to get upgraded.
We had room 407 with a freestanding bath in one of the windows on top of the well apportioned shower room. The bed was comfy, the toiletries very pleasant and the little pastry was delicious.
An easy walk to the U-bahn station sees you across Berlin (either way) in about 30 minutes.
The bar was still lively when we got back around midnight and the cocktails were interesting, although not entirely to my wife’s taste.
After a good sleep and a morning soak we went down for Breakfast where again the staff were smiling and attentive and the food (Hangover breakfast) was on point to refuel us after a great gig and before a wander around central Berlin.
Check out was a doddle and a slight issue with paying twice for breakfast was solved rapidly by email.
A fantastic hotel, with awesome staff.
We shall be back!

Me and my wife spent 3 nights here in early December and had a really good time. We absolutely loved the hotel and will make sure to come back next time we visit Berlin. It has a lovely, slightly decadent, charm! Our “de luxe” room was spacious, nicely furnished and felt luxuriously up to the task. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were great (and this is not the case in the majority of hotels..)

The staff was very helpful and friendly, in particular the personnel in the Bar! Our first night when we could not get a table in the restaurant, it was no problem eating in the bar with access to the full restaurant menu! The waiter was really helpful with nice personal recommendations with regard to both food and wine. The food is lovely, well cooked Asian/French cuisine with a nice variety of dishes!

The breakfast menu is really nice and the staff is friendly and attentive! If you are hung up on buffet breakfasts, get over it and enjoy the well composed menus!

I have seen people complaining about noice from the bar! The bar plus noice should not come as a surprise to anyone who book a room one floor up from one of the trendiest bars in Berlin. If your nights sleep is important and if you visit on Friday/Saturday get a room higher up in the building. We stayed at the fourth floor during the weekend and we did not hear a thing from the Dj/bar!

Our only very small complain would be that the minibar wasn’t cool enough. We could live with that…😉

This boutique hotel aims to impress. Though a little dark upon entering their main foyer, you do kinda get a feel of being transported into a different time. Impressive outdoor courtyard, lavish foyer & bedroom furnishings including plush red velvet decor. You are taken to your floor in a beautiful elevator originally constructed in 1912. The room we had was affordable, yet featured a hidden projector wall with erotic scenes & music which we discovered by chance when turning the lights out. On a downside, our bar fridge wasn't working & the mini iPad providing details of the hotel & room had not been charged, so neither worked. These basic things should be checked prior to any new guest commencing their stay.

A 1920s flaneuse at heart, I visited the drop-dead gorgeous bar several times to mingle w/stylish locals as well as jet setters. Since I often travel the world solo, I seek the hotel w/the best bar. I was delighted to find that Provocateur offered a weekly rate at a significant discount including a full breakfast & air conditioning (rare in Berlin). I invited my local friends to join me for unique cocktails then indulge in dinner at the Golden Phoenix. All raved. The U7 subway mere steps away makes it easy to get around then return for a nightcap from the magician mixologist. Despite the upbeat music in the busy bar I had no problems sleeping in my sumptuous room on the 2nd floor. Special thanks to Phil for the friendly welcome & for arranging a 2nd week's stay at a special value. I own a 1920s vacation rental in Austin, Texas, & found new inspiration in Provocateur's sophisticated design in bold colors & clever use of space.

I stayed for two nights and throughout my whole stay my key card wouldn't work. Every trip to the fourth floor had to be repeated twice often requiring the master key. Nothing was done to resolve this. I also had a noisy washing machine (or something) running at 6 am in the room next door, no interest from the staff when I raised the issue. The place has a nice vibe and is beautifully arranged. However, when nobody asked me 'how was your stay' on checkout – you immediately know something is wrong! Most hotels at this level are more on point responding to guest concerns.. and having a working key-card... is kind of a basic requirement!!

Dear Dr. Rolfe, Thank you very much for visiting our hotel and we appreciate your important and valuable feedback. We are happy to hear that you liked the style of our hotel and that you felt comfortable. Once we have investigated where the noise has been came from, we noticed that the heater in your bathroom has a malfunction and needs to be replaced to avoid more guest feedbacks like yours. We will go through your feedback accordingly with our team from the front desk, because in general we are always interested that every guest enjoyed their stay with us. We are very sorry to hear that in your case this was not the fact and we will make sure that this was an exception. The issue of the key cards has been solved too in the meanwhile. Thank you again for your feedback and have a pleasant day and we would still be happy to welcome you back soon. Your Provocateur Team

My wife and I were after a romantic and party vibe stay in Berlin. We love this city and wanted to enjoy a luxury experience. From the moment we arrived we knew we'd picked the right place. Our lovely barman Tobias took the time to give us a personal tour and took a personal interest in making sure we had the best of weekends. We loved our room and whilst we didn't dine in the restaurant, we had fab breakfasts every morning. The location is just on the edge of some beautiful and quieter parts of Berlin but even a trip to Kreusberg and further afield is never more that a 40 min tube and it's a very pleasant walk to the centre if you choose not to take the tube which is right out side the hotel. I'd read a couple of negative reviews here but went with my instinct. Despite what I'd read I can tell you the hotel is pristine and the staff could simply not have been nicer. Highly recommend Provocateur Berlin.

We stayed there for two nights in a gorgeous room with balcony. We wanted a bit more space and since the entry level "Petite" is really petite, we decided to upgrade to a higher room category, which was fantastic and absolutely worth it. Love the à la carte breakfast, where you can order everything from egg dishes to delicious waffles. Coffee is amazingly good and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Had drinks at the bar and some small dishes at the bar from Golden Phoenix Restaurant - superbe

We stayed here expecting basic amenities and were very disappointed. Our room had no place to put our luggage and no place to put our clothes. There’s only enough space in the ‘closet’ to hang two jackets. The front desk said that all rooms were designed this way. The bed and shower were decent, but that was it. Most budget places in Berlin offer more amenities in the same amount of space - and at half the price.

We apologize for your experience regarding the storage in the room. And also for the rather insufficient answer from the Front Desk. Indeed, some rooms can feel like there is space only for a little trip, but not for the oversea luggage. In larger categories there are closets and more space as well due to the room size.

More risk, more fun? Rund um das Provocateur können Sie auch an der Straße parken, sofern ein Platz frei ist. Bitte beachten Sie die eventuellen öffentlichen Parkgebühren. Bis ganz bald, Ihr Team aus dem Provocateur
