The location is great, everything interesting in Würzburg is in walking distance. The website mentions free parking, there are however only three parking places, I was lucky to get one on the second day. In the evening it is free parking in the street and there is a big parking near by. Our only problem during our stay was the heat. We had the top room, under the roof. The weather was very hot. There is no airco. The room too very hot. Very uncmfortable to sleep. The hotel is a bit old fashioned. For the price we paid, they should had some mobile aircos installed.

The best way to describe the hotel is warm and cozy as a family should be, of course the hotel is a little bit outdated but the location is brilliant and the people were all very nice, it‘s a family run hotel and you can feel it. At total it was a nice stay and I would recommend it.

Our party stayed here for 4 nights and each night they served our hot food cold or still frosted. The rooms are dated and faded but they'd made a festive effort. Amazingly smoking is still allowed in the foyer. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and they provided a good vegetarian option. Wurzburg was charming and the hotel was a top location. We all thoroughly enjoyed all the Bavarian Christmas markets.

We stayed for 2 nights and were more than happy. Good sized rooms are a little dated, but the bathroom is spotless and has been renovated. Very quiet and close to the town centre, the hotel has a bonus in that it hasa lift. A few we'd stayed in didn't, and made it difficult carting suitcases up and down the stairs. Staff are friendly, the breakfast was pretty good, with the best scrambled eggs we've had in a hotel yet. Tasted like eggs!

Stayed for a night on our way thru Europe. Came late and left early. Got a room for three adults. The hotel felt very dated. The lift felt old and unsafe. First impression of the room was HOT. No air condition, but two fans(!). Room was spacious and clean. Beds were ok, firm as I like them. Bathroom large as well, but the shower was way too tight as the wall was angled. Breakfast was totally tasteless, the worst we’ve ever had in Germany. Germans are usually very good on this, but this was terrible. Not recommending and won’t return.
