My wife and I stayed at this hotel in May, and again three nights ago. It is a lovely hotel and we will certainly stay there again, but there are a few important matters that I would like to bring to the attention of the management. Even though the whole world is currently in the midst of a Covid-19 pandemic that will get worse as the winter approaches, we were shocked to see that the swimming pool in the hotel is open for business. As everyone should know by now, Covid-19 is airborne. Some of the highest risk places include fitness centers, swimming pools, restaurants, bars and, sadly, hotels. If people are sweating, shouting, laughing, or even just talking, the virus can be emitted from their mouths, noses and skin and travel through the air. Germany is probably one of the safest countries in Europe at the moment, but if people become nonchalant (as is currently happening all over the country), we will never beat the virus. If you park your car in the underground parking, the first thing that hits you when you enter the hotel is a wall of warm, humid air from the pool area. This cannot possibly be safe. If the virus is in the air, it will be carried into the lifts, and then into the reception area. I would suggest to the hotel that keeping the pool and fitness center open as the virus surges is irresponsible. When we stayed in May, it was closed. So why is it open now? Is it really that essential? I do not think so. My next points are relatively minor, but I will mention them anyway. First of all, we feel that the underground parking is absurdly expensive at €12 a night. It is excellent, but why so expensive? The guests are paying enough for their rooms as it is. Secondly, although the hotel is lovely and the rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable, our shower head was broken and kept slipping down the steel rod. It was impossible to take a good shower. The tube attached to the head was also very stiff and would not stay in place. When you are paying €150 a night for a hotel room, you expect that everything in the room is working perfectly and has been checked by the house-keeping staff. Even our soap dispenser was broken. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard and quality. Finally, despite my few negative comments above (which I hope the management will address), the hotel is very fine and the staff (including house-keeping) are very friendly, helpful and always professional. I would especially like to thank Frau Walezyk and Frau Geiger, not just for reserving a quiet room for us so that we could do our work in peace, but also for their very pleasant, friendly, patient and professional demeanor. The staff are a credit to the hotel.

We visited this Hotel during a trip around Germany. From the border of Switzerland up to Flensburg, from Bremen to the eastern Border of Germany. The Hotel Melchiorpark is located outside the center of Würzburg. Th hotel looks very new. Everything is shiny and stylish. Everything works and is clean there staff was also friendly. We also visited the Restaurant. The food was amazing. My wife had a huge salad with beef stripes. I had a Melchior Burger which was cooked and decorated with a lot of fantasy. Maybe the best Burger I had in my life.

This is a new hotel - decor is minimalist, clean and light. I have gone to this hotel for 3 months straight for business, every week, so I know it quite well. In January, I took my wife and kids for two nights when we were on our way to Austria and one night on our way back, they absolutely loved it. The restaurant also works well for kids, they were very flexible putting vegetables in their dishes, for example. Also, the breakfast is so good, it has everything you need. I hadn't been to the pool before, it was so handy with the kids. I would stay in this hotel over any other in the region. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The location is a bit far from the city center, but in a quite, nice area. Parking at spot for €12 a night. Reception staff was very nice, correct and polite. Breakfast is poor. Service and quality. They said due to Covid 19 regulation, which is not all true since I stayed in few other hotels in Germany during this month , where they had great breakfast. The main problem was a poor airconditioning in the room. 3 degrees and not 1 Celsius less.. didn’t matter how much I asked the reception , it could not been fixed. Very disappointing for the nights and during hot summer days. Rooms were good, clean and spacious. Food at the restaurant was very good. (Dinner)
