Very Cozy Hotel with extemely good service and super friendly staff. Easy access to parking and walking distance to the old city center of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Breakfast was brilliant as well. Room was small but just enough for the stay. Overall a good stay with only small things that prevent a full 5 star rating (uncomfy pillows, sometimes lack of hot water in shower)

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's perfectly situated right outside the beautiful old town of Rothenburg. Unfortunately, that's where the positves ended for us. - The double room is at best a small single. A 140cm wide bed pushed against a wall and a desk barely sleeps two adults comfortably, unless you're madly in love and like sleeping on top of each other. - The pictures on hotels.com doesn't really reflect how small the rooms are. Some more info about this upon booking would be nice. - Our bathroom smelled bad. I'm sure it was cleaned, but something didn't seem right in there. - After the first night we left the room in the morning. When we returned at 2 in the afternoon, the room wasn't cleaned and it didn't seem like anyone was about to do it either. - The fridge in the room was broken upon arrival. All of these things combined made us feel very uncomfortable and we decided to check out a day early and find another hotel. The person that checked us out seemed anxious about getting a bad review, but didn't offer any solutions to our complaints, except that we should have booked a larger room from the beginning. I struggle to see how this hotel is a 4-star establishment.

We stayed here yesterday with our 3 children. The rooms and bathrooms are very neat and tastefully decorated, also very spacious. We ate in the restaurant, which has really a Michelin star level! Everything was perfect and they even provided a special course for the children, who enjoyed it as much as we did. We took the Sharing is Caring course, which is a combination of all dishes and which you should really try. The wine was also top! The staff is very (child)friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My boyfriend and I bought into the hype and greatly regret it. Upon arrival, we had to request another room because the bathroom in the room we were given reeked of urine. Housekeeping was abysmal! We would return to our room and it hadn't been cleaned. Dirty glasses and plates were not replaced. The sheets were never changed even though we requested them to be. Worst of all after such horrible experiences, at checkout they refused to honor our boyfriend's VAT form. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Great hotel in small medieval town. Great location. Amazing service , very friendly staff. Great newly renovated rooms. Quite big size rooms. Very clean rooms. Restaurant has great menu, chef of the restaurant very interesting guy to have conversation , he knows local food and farmers, he can explain every dish and why it’s on the menu. Great dishes for dinner. Very nice environment. Breakfast has big selection of food too.
