We really enjoyed our stay here. Only 4 stars because there was no A/C in the building, which we are accustomed to. However, we popped the windows in the room and it felt wonderful in the room. We were able to get a nice balcony...More

it is true that we have no A/C in the building... but as you also pointed out, it isn't really necessary. The temperature in Garmisch always drops significantly during nighttime; double checked the weather statistics, the hottest night was 16°C :-)
My husband and I stayed here with our dogs. I emailed them to set up a reservation and make sure the size of our dogs was acceptable, and the woman helping me, Kerstin, was fantastic! She was extremely nice and very accommodating. We stayed in...More

There’s nothing exceptional about this hotel (I’d actually say it’s more a 3 star by general international standards) - but there’s also nothing much wrong with it either.
Plus points include:
- very friendly, welcoming staff
- comfortable characterful room
- good, quality breakfast

The only thing I can find to elaborate on is the "old, characterful part of town". For those who don't know Garmisch-Partenkirchen: there used to be two towns until 1935, Garmisch and Partenkirchen. Therefore, we have two city...More

All the best to you and hope to seeing you again in the future!
Our goal is to meet all your wishes! What are you looking for when you go on holidays? You might wish somewhat more than the ordinary standard? Hence, it is not only about bed, breakfast and mountain view. What …Morewe mean is our characteristic pleasant and casual ambience, which surrounds the guests, wherever they are in the house, whatever they do. We mean the mountains just in front of the door. Well, we mean the typical feeling in "Garmisch": the discovery of the unspoilt nature during a walk through the gorge "Partnachklamm", the little thrills during a hang-gliding tandem flight or the "adrenalin rush" during an adventurous rafting tour through the gorge of "Imst". Our declared goal is to be an ideal base for all your personal holiday activities. Less
