Large indoor pool. Old underground car park with "dangerous" ramp and lots of junk, but no charge!

There are many pluses. The spa area is wonderful. The location immediately next to the lake, a huge food and beer garden on the lake side, great proximity to everything we wanted to do away from the hotel, an excellent breakfast buffet every morning, and a good clean comfortable room.
When traveling here, just be careful about exactly which room you will be assigned and lower your expectations a little. Our room overlooked the construction area. We came to the area for the views, including the one from our balcony, even if we had to pay a higher price.

The large spa area with swimming pool and various saunas including an ice grotto was also very well maintained and only a few guests were present.
The restaurants and breakfast buffet are in the basement of the complex, which also open directly onto the lake on the ground floor with a large outdoor terrace. The breakfast buffet was extensive. There is a special breakfast menu with various egg dishes on request. All drinks are served by the quick, friendly staff. But I don't understand why you have to pay extra for a cappuccino or latte macchiato. All in all, a very well-run, comfortable hotel, located on the beautiful Tegernsee in a quiet location but close to the center and right on the more than 3 km long lake promenade. A must-see!

50 metres or so to the main hotel which is where checkin takes place. Here there is a very good restaurant if you don't wish to cook, or walk about 1k to find other food outlets in the centre of Bad Wiessee. Proximity to lake is excellent.
The time in the terrace courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely come back.
"Room 206 was a nice single with dual aspect. Avoid 225 unless you want to mop up your shower water each time you use the shower!"Read full review
